Hello – here is the link:
Once images are highlighted and I click ‘insert into post’ nothing happens. I used to be able to click up to 100 or more and click ‘insert into post’ and they would all go into the blog post.
Hello Victoria, I used to insert them no problem – once uploaded I would click them all and hit ‘insert into blog’ and they would all insert in that order. Does that make sense?
Hi – try
katiekaizerphoto – all lowercase
I think we had a caps on the H by accident – above is correct. Let me know if you can resolve this for us! Thanks!
Hello – http://www.katiekaizerphotography.com It’s loading on our end. Let me know if that works.
Hello – I would like the most recent posts to show up below the featured story. (like they do on the web browser when viewing on desktop) Instead in mobile view it is showing the older posts from a year ago.June 8, 2018 at 9:15 pm in reply to: About page links and Help with uploading images to blog. #970180
Thanks for the info – the button color code worked on some of the buttons but not all… It worked on the footer but not on these, for example: http://www.katiekaizerphotography.com/about/#approach
Also, the suggestion for uploading images isn’t going to work because there are usually between 30-50 images on each post (my client is a photographer). Too many to make sense of the text files. It would be ideal if she were able to arrange the photos in the order she wants them shown, then upload them in that order and then have them stay in that order. Is there a better way to do this than rearranging in “text” mode?
Scratch that – we were able to fix the issue by deactivating and then reactivating all plugins.
Great! It’s working now. Thank you so much!
Is there anything we can do to prevent these issues from happening in the future? It would be nice to be ahead of these types of problems – rather than trying to scramble to fix it after something goes wrong. Thanks!June 3, 2018 at 8:06 pm in reply to: About page links and Help with uploading images to blog. #966222
Looks like I have two questions in one thread – would you like me to split this up?
1st question – How do I change the button text color? The above code worked to change all links, including the button text links, to pink. But since the buttons are also pink, you can’t see the words. I’d like that text to be white.
2nd question – I’d like to be able to organize images in a particular order and upload them into a blog post in that same order. As it is now, when I upload images they rearrange into chronological order – not the order I put them in. Is there a fix for that?
I did just that – backed up the original Enfold child header.php then replaced it with the parent Enfold header.php – and I got this message:
“Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP.”
Doesn’t look like anything changed and the original problem that created this support ticket is still an issue – photos in the galleries aren’t showing up in a light box, they appear in a whole new URL that you aren’t able to click through.
I can try the other way you suggest – using the FTP on the cPanel file manager – but I don’t know where that is. I’m not seeing wp-content…
So I’m still pretty much stuck. If you’d like to have a look around the login in below.
Can you explain this a bit further please? I haven’t worked with php at all – the engineer I work with usually helps with this stuff so I need some extra help :)
My understanding is that since I have a child theme I need to update the header.php with the latest version. In order to do that, I go to Appearance > Editor & select Enfold as the theme to edit then copy the code from Theme Header (header.php). Then I go into the Enfold Child theme and paste that code in the Theme Header (header.php) section – replacing the code that is currently there. Is that correct?
Great! Can you help point me to where I can find the header.php and where exactly I need to update it in the child theme? I see that the child theme has an update available – but is it best to leave the child theme not updated if there is custom CSS? Thanks!June 2, 2018 at 1:57 am in reply to: About page links and Help with uploading images to blog. #965633
For the images and order – I am referring to making a blog post – I just made one and in order to have them insert/appear in order I had to upload them in the reverse order. It used to be that I could upload them in order and they’d appear in that same order. Is there a way to make that happen? I upload them and then they appear with the checked box and I click ‘insert into post’
Let me know if you need a screenshot to describe this. Since I make the order of the images for blogs in my program and export in that order ideally it would then upload / appear in that order like it used to.

Hi again – the code worked for the links – only catch is that the button links now have that style too so it’s pink text on a pink button and you can’t read it. Can you tell me how to style the button links so that text is white? Thanks!May 29, 2018 at 3:46 pm in reply to: About page links and Help with uploading images to blog. #963776
Thank you! I will have my designer try that code!
Do you have any insight on the uploading of images to blog? To keep them in the same order selected? Currently the order is getting reversed when I click ‘insert to blog’ after they are uploaded and checked.May 28, 2018 at 8:28 pm in reply to: About page links and Help with uploading images to blog. #963424
Thank you for your response. I was referring to being able to hyperlink certain things in the about section on my website – similar to how it works in a blog post. In other words – when I mention I am part of a few groups/ on a few boards and want them to be noticably ‘click-able’. I tried applying the link in the same way I would during a blog post when I want something to be clickable (take you to other page) and it worked but the word doesn’t appear any different in the about section. When you scroll over it the word goes transparent. It would be great to have it either appear underlined or a different color so people know they can click on it.
Please let me know if you can help.
The other issue refers to when I upload a batch of photos to a blog post. I want them to be inserted to post in same order I upload them in but it has been reversing it. In other words photos 1-4 to appear in the post in that order. Usually it’s a special chronological order I have picked out.
Please let me know how to proceed!
Hello! Thank you! Here is my website link:
Here is the link to about page
At bottom I list different organizations I am part of and they do not show up as click-able or underlined. Wondering if we can have them look a different color so users know they can click on them?
Removing the divider deleted the extra space but the columns are still not lined up. Log in is below. Thank you!!
Yup – that fixed the image size problem on the blog page! But I need to turn a lot of those plugins back on…
I’m really nervous to disable all plugins – won’t that mess up the site in various ways? Will I have to do a lot to get it back or is it just an on/off switch?
Hello – I’ll make sure my client is selecting a high resolution version when uploading images.
We don’t have any caching plugins installed – should we?
It’s strange because the phots used to show up at the correct size and then they got smaller. When you click on the blog post – this one for example: https://www.katiekaizerphotography.com/2018/01/26/laura-and-chris-a-new-years-eve-wedding-in-ireland/ – the photos start out large and then get smaller as the site loads. Wondering what that is all about?
