    ….bump?…

    Hi Vinay,
My apologies, I did not explain myself very well.
The way we work with Mailchimp lists and groups it is best that we use the html provided by Mailchinp for embedded forms. (email sign up)
It is easy to place the html in a text block on a page and the sign up works fine. However I want to style the basic html with some css code. I am led to understand that the css should be placed in >Appearance >Editor >Custom CSS. I have tried this however it does not style the html,
This leads me to think that I amdoing something wrong or that the css should be placed elsewhere.
I hope that this clarifies the issue and you able to advise.

    Cheers

Hi, thanks for the coding however it made no difference to the padding.
I tried it it both as css shortcode and then in custom.css as suggested.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
I can see that media queries would work however none of examples apply to my situation and I guess if I knew how to code then I would do it. However I do not know coding and this is why I was approaching you people in the hope that you can suggest some.

    Cheers

Hi Victoria, Yes the screen shot you sent is a good example.
I understand that media queries can be used however being unfamiliar with them i was unsure of which one to use as none of them seemed to relate to my situation. If I am to adapt the coding of one of them to suit my needs I wouldn’t know how to do this.
However I an willing to try. Which media query would use suggest for me to use?
Once I have the coding sorted is it then used as short code?

    Cheers

    Hi Victoria,
I did look through the media queries however being unfamiliar with them I was unable to see one that would suit my purpose.
I don’t believe it is screen size that is the issue, it is padding within a cell that needs dealing with.
Did you look at the site on desktop and mobile to see what I was referring to?

    Cheers
    Nigel

in reply to: Cell Margins #1053988

    Hi,
Firstly I may have used the wrong term. I may have meant padding rather than margin. I’m referring to the space between the text and the side of a column as can be seen on this page; https://www.writeyourjourney.com/vietnam-writing-retreat/
Please see the column that starts with the text…’Ready for a creative vacation of a different sort?’

The issue is: If we increase the padding so it looks good on a desktop then it looks bad on mobile. Please refer to the same cell on a mobile device.
We are hoping that there may be a short code that will allow the padding to appear good on both desktop and mobile devices.

    Cheers

    Hi Rikard,
This code needs to be added after the <body> tag
Will adding this code require the creation of a child theme?

in reply to: Full width easy slider not working #948280

Yes it is very flexible….however the ‘code’ element doesn’t do it either as the event code must be placed under the </head> tag and this can only be done on the html page. It is the the html page that I cannot get to. In Appearance > Editor the header.php and functions.php make global edits not local i.e. page edits. There is a way I just haven’t found it yet….

in reply to: Full width easy slider not working #948272

All good goldengate415, any assistance is appreciated. You are correct however specific event codes can be added to individual pages, however Enfold doesn’t appear to support editing individual pages, (the text editor doesn’t do the job). It is this that is problematic….

in reply to: Full width easy slider not working #948268

    Thanks goldengate415,

I don’t have an issue adding the pixel code to the header.php file.
What I need to know is how to ad the Facebook event code to a single page….

    Cheers

in reply to: Full width easy slider not working #948259

    Hi Basilis,
My understanding is that it is fairly simple and is a required step in loading Facebook event codes to a page. I have seen it easily done on other themes, however it would appear that Enfold does not support this page editing.
    Is this correct?

    Cheers

in reply to: Full width easy slider not working #947084

    Hi,
I have been trying to find out how to place Facebook event codes into various pages of my site.
    I have the pixel installed.
I am told that the event code needs to be inserted under the </head> tag of the page that I want to insert it in. I cannot see how to do this.
Reference sources say to place it in the header.php or functions.php but would this not be a site wide placement and not an individual page placement?

How do I place the event code into individual pages?

    Cheers

    Hi Rikard,
    Disabled AutOptinize.
I had cleared the cache….and did so again and re-loaded the page.
    The problem remains the same.

in reply to: Rounded corner buttons #749178

    Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply that worked for the buttons.

However I was also asking in regard to the rounded box used on the menu buttons on the ‘Health’ demo also.

    How do I achieve that?
I have seen it used on other Enfold themes but can’t find it in the settings…..

    Cheers

Thanks for the reply Vinay….I did as suggested and have uploaded a
current Enfold version however it has made no difference.
Is there a css short-code that will fix the issue?

in reply to: Create html page #702727

Thanks for the reply Rikard….I just re-read my post and it is badly written.
I need to create in the footer a link to a page similar to Terms and Conditions found in – Footer > Other Links at https://www.rishikulyogshala.org/
It is similar page to the rest on the web site but it isn’t a page that can be found in the top menu section.
I do not know how to create such a page, can you please help?
    Hope this explains it better…

in reply to: Home in Loge area- will not accept uppercase [SOLVED] #655566

    Hi Vinay,
Unfortunately can’t see any change, Home does not appear to be upper case.

I am adding Quick CSS for paragraph font type. Are these Quick CSS changes persistent or do they delete with a theme update?
