To verify this. Just to make sure I won’t end up in another 2 days of reversing and a dead business page/shop… You are saying that this is the order to update for me, and that I don’t need tokens:
Backup the site, install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site under maintenance mode.
Switch to default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty) and delete Enfold theme.
Update WordPress to the latest version
Login to ThemeForest and download the latest version of Enfold (use the account you used to purchase Enfold).
Unzip the file downloaded from Enfold which should generate a folder, find the file called enfold.zip.
In your WordPress Dashboard, upload enfold.zip in the Themes (install and activate), if you’re using a child theme, activate the child theme instead.
Check for any errors in your site, if none is found, remove the maintenance mode.See, this is where confusion doesn’t end.
The enfold theme update page says i run 4.5. When clicking ‘check manually’, it leads me to the wp update page.
However, please line up the exact order to get it all updated.
Oh, I don’t want the Gutenburg editor. That messed up EVERYTHING. I am using ‘Avia layout builder’, and I believe it came with enfold, yes? How can I prevent that gutenburg destroys the entire layout again when updating WP?What… no more tokens???
How to restore all enfold settings?
Will this run with my event manager plugin?

did you get rid of the ‘classic editor’, and how did you do it?i so wished you guys would be quicker.
meanwhile i reinstalled back to wp 4.9.8 and all problems were gone… i have first page back, even manager works again, i can see previews, and i don’t deal with that stupid classic editor. Besides… HOURS of work I’ve spend fixing the website which I could have use somewhere less frustrating.
there are so many people with these problems here but literally not much of help. instead very confusing procedures around ‘tokens’, and ways to install an update which don’t work in itself. I believe an update should be simple and smooth- the way it was all the time.Have a solution please
yep, i did all of it. but anyway, the landing page shows only a ‘Record not found’ and backoffice says style.css missing.
now, even i let my hoster pull 2 full backups… i still have the same issue, like many other people after this “upgrade” and your ‘token’ idea.
my website is broken now, i don’t know how to fix it.

I have 4.5, but there is a 4.5.1 update.
so if i want to install an updated version- I will have to downoad enfold entirely at themefrost and install it? whats gonna happen to all my settings and designs?that is so cool. thx for the css

it works, even if the scrolling on those devices feel strangethx, but that didn’t help.
the part of what you see first when the page has been loaded- that is all you can get. scrolling is not working on iphones and ipads.

this is for the ‘scrolled’ header. what would be the code for it when it’s not scrolled?

OK, there is my enfold wordpress page, but it is not really mobile friendly and many smartphone user bouncing off/away.
therefore i made a separate mobile page, and i want to redirect smartphone users to that separate page. That isn’t working, and there is the chance that the enfold theme could cause the issue, and i was hoping you might know hoe to fix it.well yea :)
will i be able to ad text and a button to the ‘colorsection’, like i have it now with the fullscreen slider?
if not, would this video setup possible via layerslider?
