I think this whole issue is really bad for Enfold users. At the moment, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it to future clients.
Can’t you resolve it with Themeforest/Envato?November 2, 2018 at 12:01 pm in reply to: updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided #1029111Thanks for this, Rikard.
But this is really too bad from Envato. I noticed too that I no longer can create an API key for my customers in the settings on Envato’s website which allows for automatic update of the Enfold theme.
Why do they make it so complicated?I’ll try the plugin you’re recommending to make things easier for my clients.
Best wishes,
SusanneNovember 1, 2018 at 9:11 pm in reply to: updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided #1028950I agree with Onlysky. The issue is that my customers are mostly not able (and shouldn’t need to be!) to upload via ftp.
So please, can this issue be resolved asap?Hi Jordan, That did the trick – the hosting company increased it for me.
Thanks a lot – the topic can now be closed.

SusanneHi Basilis,
I didn’t change anything, as there are so many options on performance. I just clicked on “Save all”. And I think that’s done the trick!
Thank you so much.
Best wishes,
SusanneHi Victoria,
I’ve added the code, but nothing changes. Maybe it’s too difficult to sort this?
Thanks anyway,
SusanneHi Mike,
I found a different solution – thank you.

I managed to change the font to Palatino – by DELETING the setting for the class strong in the Advanced Styling section! Don’t ask me for the logic of this – but now you can close this topic!

Unfortunately nothing changes with this code… I even reduced the value to 5px, to no avail.
Any other idea?Thanks a lot,
SusanneHi Rikard,
Sorry, but this doesn’t resolve the problem.If you go to this page http://www.andaanastasescu.co.uk/website-overview/reviews/, you’ll see that the strong text in the body text/paragraphs is NOT Palatino, but Helvetica. Which I didn’t set up! For the whole website, Palatino is the font.
Also, the strong text bits come in a far too large size.I have no idea how to style this so that the text appears in Palatino. Any ideas?
Thank you for your help,
Susanne

Hi Mike,
this works like a treat! Thank you so much,
SusanneIt’s Palatino or Palatino Linotype which I’ve set in the Enfold font styling menu as font for the whole website.
That’s why I cannot understand why only the text in a paragraph should be in a different font (probably Helvetica).Hi Mike,
sorry – my fault!
Below are the login details.
Thanks!Thank you, Rikard. How do I assign a class like image-custom-padding?
In the stylesheet?
I added this code to the stylesheet of Enfold child:
.image-custom-padding {
padding:20px !important;
}
But nothing changes. Have I add something more? If so, where?
And how do I “assign a class” to the website?
Sorry, I’m quite an ignorant coder…Thanks!
Sorry, Mike.

Thank you!Hi there,
I’ve now found a solution by installing the plugin “Easy google fonts”. A bit complicated, but it does the job.
Thanks!Rikard,
I have changed the code to Crimson Roman, and now it’s back to just the default Enfold font (Helvetiva???) – please see.
Can you try to change the font to Crimson Roman please? I would be so grateful!Actually, no other font works – whatever I change it to on the Enfold Font choices. Any idea why not? It always shows the default font.
Rikard,
But your link shows that the font IS available on google fonts? See here: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Crimson+Text
I’ve now changed it to Crimson Text in functions, but it still doesn’t work.
What’s going wrong?
Thanks for your help.Sorry Rikard, stupid me. Please see below. It’s in maintenance mode.
