Hi Elliott,
That worked perfectly.
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Ismael,
It would put my mind at ease more if those that had seen page ranking drop had come back to confirm the problem resolved. I don’t see anything in that thread to confirm Google can actually crawl the front-end and the ranking issues some experienced are now fixed.
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Ismael,
That’s exactly what I need, this topic can be resolved.
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Andy,
I’m aware of the Icon List element but that only really works for lists with five items at the most. Anything more and it starts to look a bit excessive, particularly on mobile. I’d just like to replace the bullet points of a UL list with something from the Entypo icons. This is really easily done with Font Awesome but for consistency I’d like to use Entypo.
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Rikard, that’s exactly what I’d like to do. Any assistance appreciated :)
Thanks.
Hi Elliott,
I also need to centre the main menu div which I can’t seem to get right.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Elliott,
I think your second suggestion in adding the logo as a menu link is a good one. It solves the original problem and allows me to hide the normal logo div on desktop and use a different, more horizontal logo on mobile.
Can you tell me what the breakpoints are for Enfold so I can tidy that up? Anything showing desktop will show the new menu image link and hide the default logo, and vice versa when the mobile theme kicks in. I’m happy to add the CSS, I just need to know when mobile takes effect.
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Elliott,
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll let you know how I get on :)
Thanks again,
Paul.Hi Elliott,
Can this be added to the request list?
The site is in maintenance mode at the moment, I am testing a different theme because Enfold doesn’t cater for this type of menu.
Having said that, neither Enfold or the other theme I am looking at, really allow for a logo which is greater in height than it is in width. I’m not sure how to get around that at the minute.
Can you send over any CSS examples for the header issue? I’m happy to apply changes myself.
Thanks,
Paul.Same from multiple browsers.
Problem still exists for me.
Testing reply again…
Yes this is still not working. Only on replies, new posts are fine.
Test reply to this post…
Cool, that’s working!
Thanks.
Hi Elliott,
I’ll wait on the proper fix.
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Elliott,
Since I’m using a custom.css file anyway, I’d rather keep everything in there. I’d thought there might have been something for this included under General Styling.
Thanks,
Paul.Hi Elliott,
That’s perfect, thanks for your help.
Paul.
Hi Pete,
I didn’t think I would be the only one seeing the problem. I would the guys here to provide a fix pretty quickly, they’re good :)
Thanks,
Paul.Excellent, I’ll keep this for reference.
Thanks Yigit.
Hi Ismael,
I used the second solution here but changed margin-left and right to auto.
Thanks for the quick response,
Paul.Hi,
Here’s the first site I’ve produced with Enfold, comfortably my favourite theme I’ve used with WordPress (and there’s been quite a few!):
Paul.
Yeah all sorted.
Thanks for your help.
Hi guys,
A careless copy and paste on my part, thanks! Great theme – I bought this having already purchased Divi 2 – after reasonable use of both, I prefer Enfold. Equally as flexible but the page builder is better, and Enfold looks cleaner out of the box in my opinion.
The original code above from Josue seems to work on a test site. #header_main_alternate is not removed though so an empty space remains. Seems a bit odd?
Hi Andy,
I’m trying this on a dummy site at the moment – http://style960.com/enfold
I only have tomorrow to fix this. The code you’ve suggested above doesn’t invoke the mobile menu at all on iPad landscape. In fact, the option to enable mobile menu for smartphone & tablets has no effect because the breakpoint is set to 990px.
Thanks,
Paul.Any update on this? Do you have an iPad to replicate the issue on?
Thanks.
Hi Andy,
I’ve added the above code but no change effected to the menu. I appreciate the speedy replies but if the mobile button menu can’t be displayed properly on iPad landscape, I’ll need to switch themes, and quickly.
Thanks again,
Paul.Hi, please link below. It does appear fine on an emulator. You can see the problem on the image when actually using an iPad.
