  • I’m back in the office. Any news?

I have to leave the office now for about an hour. I won’t be able to assist until I get back.

I have re-updated enfold via FTP. All files have been overwritten.

Can do. I’ll keep you posted

    Yes

    Hi Yigit
Hard-refresh didn’t work. Login has been provided privately.

If you go into edit a page, click on a text block. When it pops up you will see that there are no editor tools and the content area is empty… although if you highlight the empty area with your mouse, you will see content.

in reply to: URGENT – Problems after wordpress 4.5 update #619469

My text editor is missing all the buttons/tools to do anything and my content although it appears gone is still there… I have to highlight it with my mouse.

    ISSUE SOLVED.

I found an older enfold support post from someone who had the same problem last year due to a redirect issue in their .htaccess file.

In my site’s .htaccess file I made some 301 redirects for SEO purposes. I reviewed my .htaccess file and noticed the following redirect:

    Redirect 301 /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/ http://www.saulteau.com/

    That was messing everything up.

    Hi Andy.
I did what you said and my Theme Options in the Dashboard are still messed up. The site itself operates fine.

Please note that I am using a child theme.

    Here’s what I’ve tried:
    – updated main enfold theme (not my child) to 3.3.2 via FTP, no change
    – updated to latest WP 4.3.1, no change
    – updated and then deactivated all plugins and viewed Theme Options page, no change
    – hard-refreshed the browser a number of times, no change
    – tried removing all my custom styles within my child theme’s css, no change
    – tried removing any custom functions, no change

    * What I find odd is that when I’m in the Dashboard and click to view the Theme Options (or should I say Child Theme Options), it takes about 26 – 30 seconds just for the Theme Options to load. On my other WordPress sites using enfold, it takes about 3 – 5 second to load the Theme Options.

Here’s the screenshot again. I removed it by mistake yesterday:

    Please advise.

I restored my site from my backup and the issue with the Theme Options is still there.

I’m back to my previous version of WordPress (4.2.5) and the enfold theme (3.1.5)

When I log into the dashboard and click the “Theme Options” link in the left column, I wait for about 20 seconds and then the messed up page displays.

    Any ideas?

I made a complete backup of the files and database before updating (dbase Backup with phpmyadmin)

Do I need to just update the theme? Or do I need to restore everything including dbase?

I’m getting the same type of errors when I have debug set to true.

    Running: enfold 3.1.3
    WordPress: 4.2

    – disregard the ‘xxxxxxx’ in the following…
    – This type of error is occurring on 2 of my WordPress sites that are up-to-date and that I’ve checked. I only use enfold…
