Hi Basilis,
thank you for your quick reply.
You offer a shortcode in the privacy policy section: [av_privacy_google_webfonts] that allegedly disables google fonts. That means that this would not work either?What about the extra filter called “avf_output_google_webfonts_script” that allows to programmatically deactivate google fonts from the last update 4.4.1? How can this be implemented?
RegadsJune 4, 2018 at 9:04 pm in reply to: GDPR / Google Web Fonts Replacement / Host Google Webfonts locally #966801Thank you for the detailed description, however I have a question regarding this matter:
I use the Open Sans font locally but on the contact page where I have a Google Maps embeded the Google Fonts are still loaded from the Google server.
How can you manage to force Google Maps to use the localy stored fonts?This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
I found out that every change I make in Quick CSS is not working, thus this is not being a particular font issue. For some reason the theme is using an old css file created several weeks ago.
However I installed a couple of weeks ago (just about the same time I updated the theme to version 4.3) the WP Rocket cache plugin. Furthermore pretty much at the same time I changed the website address. (WP is installed in a sub directory. http://www.mywebseite.com/cms ) to http://www.mywebseite.com/.
After updating Enfold to the latest version I got the message that due to heavy changes in the css and js file structure the cached files should be reseted, what I already have done.. I already emptied the cache and reloaded it again, deactivated and actiated WP Rocket,
Do you have any clue where the problem is?
Thank you in advance for your helpHi,
pls check the private content for the link.
It seems to me that every change I apply into the Quick CSS area is not working anymore after the latest update to Enfold 4.3 even though the changes are being written in the enfold.css
I already renamed the enfold.css in the dynamic_avia folder to generate a new css file, flushed the cache and still can`t figure out where the problem is
RegardsHi Jordan,
thx for your quick reply. I have already used CSS to ad a font class but it didn’t work for some reason. Could you pls take a look and tell me where the bug is?/* Playfair Display Font 50px*/
.playfair {
font-family: Playfair Display !important;
font-size: 50px;
color: #ffffff !important;
}`
I also targeted the page ID like this:
page-id-6919 h1. {
color: #ffff !important;
font-size: 50px;
font-family: Playfair Display !important;
}Bingo! This was the solution even though I still don’t why Enfold couldn’t overwrite the enfold.css file. Everything works fine now. Thank you guys for your help!
Hi Ismael, I set the permission for the dynamic_avia folder to 0777 (was 0755) and for enfold.css to 0644 (I guess you didn’t really mean 0604 ?) but it is still not working.
What do you mean with rename the enfold.css? Should I give the file another name first and than change the name back to enfold.css?
Looking forward for your reply.
Kind regardsHi, thank you for your help but still doesn’t work.
All the changes I make in the Quick CSS or Custom Styling area are not working.
I cheked the wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css file where the Quick CSS is suposed to be written into and saw only the older rules I changed several months ago.Tkx for the quick reply. I attached the admin login in the private section
Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to have a split mobile menu like e.g. avada theme has? I run a website with over 150 subpages and lots of submenu items and this workaround with the non clikable menu drives me mad. I´m very happy with enfold but I consider that this mobile menu issue is a major drawback for such a awesome theme like enfold. Do you see here a chance to improve this issue?
