Yes, the problem still persists. If a widget area with a google map widget is included in a toggle (or a tab) that is not initially open when the site is loaded, it only shows part of the map and leaves the rest grey. After a browser resize, the rest of the map appears.
A google map shortcode would be great. A custom widget area is OK for a contact page and sidebars, but if you need to include a map on 50+ portfolio items it gets a bit messy.
I’m having a very similar issue: If I include a widget area with a google map in a tab that is not the very first one, the map only loads half and the rest remains grey when the tab with the map on it is activated. After a resize of the browser window, the rest appears.
And another one: An option to deactivate elements in the advanced layout editor to hide the elements but not delete their content. Similar to the “Inactive Widgets” pane in the widget section of WordPress.
An option to sort the different toggles of an accordion by alphabet would be great. With that people would have an easy option to create a glossary function.
Had the same issue for some time. Make sure that “Posts Page” in Settings > Reading (the WordPress Settings, not the Enfold Settings) does not point to your blog page, but to ” — Select — “.
