Basilis, just to let you know: It happened just after theme update. I´m using wp-engine hosting and I´ve a friend who does not update enfold theme and it is working ( example: http://www.ldsurf.com.br/ )

Miachel, plugin has a seo issue: the 404 page set up with plugin works like a 404 but it doesn´t return a 404 code error ( error redirect to the page with 200 sucess code). Be careful cause it can hurt your seo efforts

Rikard, I agree with Miachel, plugins works better right now but I would love to suggest for enfold team to help with this: maybe a way to set up the 404 page in the menu and we can edit 404 page with visual editor. It would be great :)
