Hello Rikard,
I tried what you suggested and after changing from Child-> Main Theme & switching back from Main-> Child I did not get any error notice.
After changing the themes I did some clicks in the WordPress Editor and also surfed the page itsself. Still no error message via email. Now it seems as if everything is working fine, although there must be a problem of some kind, right?
What would you suggest me to do?
Kind regards
Chris

Will let you know what the result was.
Cheers,

interestingly this problem took a new turn just today.
What happened? I updated the enfold theme on my current live-website from 4.5.x to 4.7.6 (before I was referring to the staging-website) and I got an error message again (see private message).
These are information about what my live-website is running on currently:
WordPress-Version 5.4.2
Current Theme: Enfold Child (Version 1.0)
Aktuelles Plugin: (Version )
PHP-Version 7.0.33July 20, 2020 at 10:24 am in reply to: Block & Text in Enfold Builder disappears after update to php 7.4 + opcache #1231677Hello Rikard,
yes I will keep an eye open. However I am bit worried that -although I don’t see anything going wrong- there might be some security issue because of this. Also I got the following message from my hoster yesterday:
`This error is an indication that the website is not compatible with PHP 7.4.
We therefore recommend that you first reset the PHP version to the previously saved version. After the server has made the changeover, which normally takes about 15 minutes, the page should be accessible again. Before a new version change, however, the compatibility must first be established, for this you would have to contact the manufacturer of the theme used.
The website should be compatible though. I have checked again the name of the file where the error originated (see private content)
Take care
Chris

I have not received any other mail since then. Just the one that I sent to you in the private text field.
Kind regards

you could not see any error message on my end? Honestly I don’t feel qualified enough to check log files. Yes, I could downgrade the php-version again via htaccess, but ideally I would like to use the most up-to-date php version to get the best performance.
I have attached down below the complete warning message that I received. Hopefully this gives you some more insights. Since this message I have not received any other messages.
Should I still downgrade my php version?
Kind regards

I have updated the theme manually as eplained in the documentation. I only replaced the main enfold theme. I assume that I don’t have to change the child theme…
The issues I was talking about is gone now (great!), however i get a couple of error messages since updating the theme. I don’t know if this is related to any plugin or if it has to do with the new Enfold Version. See info below. Thanks in advance
Chris
Hello Mike,
thank you for your answer. I will then switch back to a free theme on the domain where I currently use the enfold license.
Take care
