Interesting…
Yes, since I removed the emojis and you having disabled the plugins, I re-enabled the plugins and have been able to save the theme options with any issues.
I’m glad it’s working now, regardless of the prior cause.
I suppose you can close this thread now.
Thanks for the reply.

This may be related (or not), but I made the mistake of changing the serialized data in the “_Options” table. This totally screwed up the layout of my site, but it did effectively reset the Option data shown in the Enfold Options menus. I went through each item, matching against another site I have in development, and copied the data. I would save it with each option and then check the site in a different browser instance. Everything was going great.
But when I added the “Phone Number or small info text” data in the Header options, I included a couple of emojis. When I tried to save the data, it gave the
All Right!
All Options saved, no problems whatsoever.message. But, it didn’t save the data. Because other options I changed after that also gave me the “All Right!” message, but the data did not change.
Once I removed the emojis from the Phone Number data, everything seemed to work just fine.
I had the same issue on the other site I’m developing and when I removed the emojis from the Phone Number data, Voilà! It was then able to save changes to the Enfold Theme Options.
Apparently, the emojis screw up the serialized data.
I believe the emoji culprits were: ☎ ✉
Whew!
ClayIn addition to deactivating/disabling all of the plugins temporarily, there are no custom scripts operating.
Please advise.
Ishmael,
Yes I did.
In my post I stated that I did:I’ve deactivated all plugins and tried making changes, but the problem persists.
Did you log in to my installation and attempt to make any changes? Once you make a change on my installation, did you verify that the change was made on the web site? For example, change the color of the footer background.

December 1, 2020 at 6:20 pm in reply to: Partial Success Importing the Construction Demo – but not images were imported. #1264298I was hoping for all of them, as the demo serves as an almost perfect template for the site I’m building. I reviewed the demo again and didn’t see any that I didn’t want, so yes, please add them manually (unless you can figure out why the import isn’t working and correct that).
Thanks,

Please note that I have a “Coming Soon” plugin installed, so if you visit the site while not logged in, you’ll see the Coming Soon page.
