LOL, apparently I was thinking too much about it!
Thanks very much Yigit.
Thanks for the reply Elliott. I found the code at 802 (I’m guessing you’re using a different file version or 1465 was a typo), and added the new line. It works in the parent theme, but I failed to get it to work when I moved a copy of the file to a child theme. It’s probably a little oversimplified in that there is no monetary total (I failed to mention this earlier), and it’s not set up to reflect ‘item’ versus ‘items’.
I’ve found an addon that helps on the larger resolutions (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-menu-bar-cart/), but am still trying to figure out a solution for smartphone screen sizes (I’ve discovered that the default Enfold cart isn’t working well on portrait iPhone).
I feel that as Enfold stands currently it works well for a business site that also wants a discreet shop, but I doubt I’d try to use it again for a site that is predominantly a shop. I’m going to head over to your feature request area and add some requests ;-)
I’m also looking for a method of displaying the number of items in the cart, either where the existing cart option is, or in one of the top menus. Here are some woocommerce examples:

Thanks for the assistance, please close topic.
March 6, 2015 at 8:57 pm in reply to: Alter single product page image to 2/3 page width instead of 1/3 #407266Hi Andy,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I need a landscape rectangle shape for shop images, so the default enfold setup isn’t working too well for me (it’s all squares).
I can amend the shop overview page (the one that lists all the products) to rectangles, but I’m having difficulty getting the single product page to do anything. The images seem stuck at 1/3 width, which just isn’t working well.
Is it possible to unhook the product details, and move them below the image? Something like this – http://kriesi.at/themes/propulsion/shop/abundance-wordpress-theme/
Thanks, Sandie

I’ve been running several wpengine installs for a long time. These installs will happily copy back and forth between ‘live’ and ‘staging’ most of the time. I did experience one Enfold installation failing to be copied correctly, and when investigated, a lot of it’s tables were missing. I was never able to get a straight answer as to why that was the case, and I remain convinced it’s the wpengine process that isn’t work well, so I haven’t raised it with the team here. wpengine’s copying mechanism also fails from time to time on other installations I have that are not using Enfold. Sometimes I’ve never gotten to the bottom of it, but sometimes I’ve been able to pin it down to specific installed plugin. Personally I’m finding that their copy back and forth mechanism can not be relied upon, and in particular if you copy from Staging to Live, you can then find it’s hours before you can get them to fix the site, and for the premium price you pay for the hosting, they now frequently suggest that you go ahead and fix it yourself.I’m also finding that restore points are failing, and they’ll insist it can’t possibly have happened. Then when you review the backup that was supposed to have been restored you’ll be able to point to the fact that the full restore actually hasn’t restored the database from the requested backup – it fails silently.
So, they may be correct, but in all the investigations I’ve been through with them over issues on my sites, they’ve never told me that the theme is incompatible with their hosting.

Sorry, re-reading my last posts it sounds a little rant-like, which wasn’t my intention! Would be good to have the update made though :-)
This hasn’t been fixed in 3.0.8, I’ve just had to manually update it, because yes, it’s causing issues on one of my websites. Please could it be included in 3.0.9?
Has this been included in 3.0.5, I don’t recognise anything in the changelog that suggests it has?
November 21, 2014 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Special headings DON'T WORK when they contain html tags #355581I find they work when you first save the special heading element, but if you return to the element to adjust say a font-size, then on re-saving the html is lost.
November 21, 2014 at 9:11 pm in reply to: Both Accordeon and easy slider stopped working suddenly #355561I found that upgrading to 3.0.4 solved this problem, so if you’re not on 3.0.4, you may wish to consider upgrading.
The featured image when seen on the single blog post is not displaying any entered caption.

Please close thread :-)
I haven’t found a way to do this with the Enfold contact form, but it is something you can simply achieve with Contact 7.
November 3, 2014 at 12:40 am in reply to: Fontello icons not showing after exporting theme setting from dev to live server #345017Well I’m only another end-user but I suspect those URLs are in that record. Depending upon how you viewed the records in the options table, you may not have realised just how much information is in them. If you just run your eye down the table column looking for a URL you won’t spot them. Did you text search the individual records?
I’m giving up on this plugin, it just feels far too limited. I might have to stick with an off-site solution until I find more time to figure out a different solution.
@brentd99 I dropped the following into my style.css
#kbsearchform #searchsubmit { height: 50px; width: 200px; } .knowledgebase-search { width: 100%; }
I wasn’t looking to match the demo, just make it work with my site and this is a little more in keeping with the Enfold search styling that the demo is. So it may not suit your need, but if I decide to use the plugin I’ll probably look into changing it a bit more. I’ll try to remember to post back here.
Put your information into the footer field, followed by [nolink], e.g.

November 1, 2014 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Fontello icons not showing after exporting theme setting from dev to live server #344583In the wp_options table take a look at avia_options_enfold_child. One of the records has a bunch of full URLs in it relating to icons.

November 1, 2014 at 2:58 pm in reply to: Fontello icons not showing after exporting theme setting from dev to live server #344579There are quite a lot of places where the theme or layerslider have added the old URL to the database. I’ve not experienced this problem with a theme before. Would be good to hear whether the team will address this going forward as from my perspective, and probably for a number of other customers this makes the theme less useable.
November 1, 2014 at 2:30 pm in reply to: Fontello icons not showing after exporting theme setting from dev to live server #344568I’ve had a similar sounding problem. In my case the site tested fine on example.wpengine.com behind a ‘Coming Soon’ page, but when example.wpengine.com was redirected to the clients new domain name, the fonts disappeared. The problem can be toggled on and off with the redirect, and searching within the database you’ll find the theme has placed the old URLs in the database.
Can this be added to the fix list please?
That sounds like an upgrade nightmare, isn’t it possible to override the CSS?
It’s better with a screenshot ;-)
Thanks, but I believe that will always show one or the other. I probably wasn’t clear. I was hoping it might be possible in say 2014 to have it display Copyright © 2014, then in 2015 have it automatically update to Copyright © 2014 – 2015. Most people have hangovers on 1st January and don’t want to be updating a copyright notice so it would be lovely if it took care of itself ;-)

Click the same Templates button you use to Save templates. Hover your mouse over the template you wish to delete and you’ll see a red cross, click it.
In the theme options, click on the Header section. Select the Extra Elements tab. You’ll see some fields to help you with the phone number and social media links ;-)

It’s great that this can be dropped straight into the footer field. Is there a way to adjust that to pass it a start year, then show just the start year if it matches the current year, but a range after that?
e.g.
– pass it 2013 as the start year and it shows Copyright © 2013 – 2014
– pass it 2014 and you get Copyright © 2014There really aren’t many knowledge base plugins out there is seems. I’ve been playing around with the demo on this, and might try it myself. How many issues are you seeing with it in Enfold? If possible can you folks detail any fixes on the thread as I might give this one a try myself tomorrow.
October 28, 2014 at 6:08 pm in reply to: Really struggling to get any kind of blog layout that makes sense #342355The thing is, I don’t want a customised blog page. I *just* want the blog layout on the homepage to match the layout on the blog page. Sounds simple doesn’t it? I selected single author, small picture, and the layouts are totally different.
October 27, 2014 at 5:47 pm in reply to: How to define a full width section above footer on almost every page of site #341619Just noticed that the screenshot makes it look like a boxed site, I’m more interested in it working on stretched sites, though the ability to achieve this on all sites would be wonderful!
