Didn’t help. I moved to a different theme and the issue went away. I can reproduce this issue on all of my Enfold sites.
Thanks. About to launch another site and getting hit with this…again. The issue is also present in 4.3.2.
Good to go, thank you.
Yes. If I take that out, on 736px and below media queries, the burger menu turns Black. As I’ve mentioned, there is a crazy dance that needs to occur every time I launch a site that has transparent headers. So much so, that a Featured Request was submitted as recommended by Enfold.
I submitted a Feature Request over a year ago. That said, this is more of a bug that should NOT require a feature request.
When transparent headers are used, the value defined in Enfold > Transparency options should be honored. That’s not happening.
Good to go. Here was the final CSS.
#root-of-it-all .container { max-width: 100% !important; padding: 0; margin: 0; }
#root-of-it-all .av-hotspot-container img {width: 100% !important;}Closer. The next hurdle is now on pages where the header is not transparent, the burger menu and shopping cart gets lots, because of the CSS needed to make those items White on pages with transparent headers.
Every time I do a site, I go through this dance. Hopefully, something is in the works (I was told to feature request this a year ago), to make this easier.
Page example in private area. Please check it out with a media query of 736px and you’ll see the issue.
The same? No. Using your code from the other post still produces the padding. Feel free to merge the threads if you think that makes sense.
Thanks. The color of the menu and cart were still skipped, but I fixed those myself (code below).
Your code works when the header is Transparent & Glassy, but not for others. This needs to work for ALL transparent header types.
This issue has been going on for over a year and I was asked to put in a feature request back then
#menu-item-shop {color: #fff; }
.av-burger-menu-main.menu-item-avia-special .av-hamburger-inner,
.av-burger-menu-main.menu-item-avia-special .av-hamburger-inner::before,
.av-burger-menu-main.menu-item-avia-special .av-hamburger-inner::after {color: #fff!important; background-color: #fff!important;}}If you look at the image link, you’ll see the transparent header on media query 736px. Just below that, you’ll see that the logo specified for transparent headers is not appearing. Also, the burger menu and cart icon should be white in color, not black.
Thanks. That satisfies the background color part, but the Transparency Options chosen are still not being respected. Please see this image.
Please try now, thank you.
No, you need to be at 7.1 or above.
Please try the following:
.avia-button.avia-color-theme-color-highlight:hover {
background-color: #99d6ea!important;
}Hello. I ran into this today. Make sure the path case it consistent. As an example, if the folder is “Docs”, make sure you use /Docs and not /docs.
Hello. Have you checked your PHP version? Make sure you are at the highest level the web host will allow, as a starting point. You can always work your way backwards from there…if needed.
I’ve seen this with customers using GoDaddy web hosting and it came down to contacting them. Whether or not you are with them, this probably comes down to WordPress memory allocation.

Hello. This is not possible and wouldn’t be recommended due to not all mobile plans having unlimited data plans.
May 8, 2018 at 8:13 pm in reply to: Switched to HTTPS and logo is still being served over HTTP #953524Hello. If you remove the image, save the changes and then re-add the image…it will be served over HTTPS. Make sure you test with something like Chrome in incognito mode. I recommend the whynopadlock tool.
May 8, 2018 at 8:10 pm in reply to: after upgrade to 4.3.1. – Magazine layout not working anymore #953522Hello. In FTP, you will see “enfold” and “enfold-child” folders. If you have properly implemented the Enfold Child Theme, you’ll delete the “enfold” folder and then upload anew.
I’d like to hear what Enfold has to say. I tried to help another customer with this yesterday and after importing the parent theme settings, a ton of customizations did not carry over.
It sounds like you are not using a Child Theme. You should use a child theme for every project you do going forward. That way, you can safely remove the enfold folder via FTP and then copy up the new enfold version, without losing any customizations.
While you may not be seeing the update within WordPress, I would avoid using that method for updating your theme. Regardless of the theme, this method is the most unreliable. FTP is the safest. The reason the update is not appearing is most like an Envato issue, rather than an Enfold issue, but the support team would have to answer that for sure.
Enfold has articles for implementing a Child Theme, after the fact, so they should be able to help you with that. The one thing I would check with Enfold about is the very last paragraph of the article link shared below. In my testing, you have to re-setup quite a bit, after the import, which kind of defeats the purpose. Maybe the process has changed/is better and the documentation hasn’t been updated.
Steve – Are you using a Child Theme with any of these sites?
Some people like to help others, even though it’s not their job. ; ) There are a few people in these boards, like me…it’s not a mystery.
I don’t work for Enfold and I’m not affiliated, but I do run a WordPress support business. An update to Enfold may have caused the initial issue, but you should be able to restore your site to a time before you updated the theme. if you, me, Enfold cannot access the backend, it’s outside of the theme…as I mentioned.
If you want to do a screenshare, I’m happy to help you out.
I recommend contacting your web host. It’s not a theme issue at this point.
For sites where you have the Child Theme in place, here are the steps.
1. Download 4.3.1
2. Extract the files
3. FTP to your site
4. Delete the enfold folder (Note: you should have an enfold folder and an enfold-child folder)
5. Upload a fresh copy (the extracted files) to the same location where you deleted enfoldDo not just copy via FTP. You need to completely remove the theme and add anew.
.I cannot speak for Enfold, but they cannot control what the world sees. Only YOU can. I recommend you contact your website designer/consultant/developer/whatever.
Well, the offer still stands. I can help you migrate to SiteGround, at no cost. It’s super simple. Lemme know.
All of my own sites and my client sites are over there.
You are using outdated versions of pretty much everything (WordPress, theme, etc.).. Have you tried updating?
Theme: Enfold
Version: 3.3.2
