Thanks a bunch Saundra.
Same here. I updated and lost the entire theme in wordpress. I need a copy of 4.2. Help!
October 2, 2013 at 5:35 pm in reply to: 2.3.1 update – should I really need to replace the whole folder #169436Thanks Josue, I will do that.
Thanks to both. I HAVE the latest version of 2.25 of the plugin. I noticed the website for the plugin developers state they are no longer providing support for that plugin and have removed the full version II for purchase so they can work on other projects. Any other thoughts, the backgrounds still don’t load for me. My website is http://mortensenphotography.com
Thanks Kriesi for looking into this.
I hope Apple comes out with something as well. I bit of uniformity in Browsers would be great!
Keep up the great work!
Thanks Nick for checking into this. As stated before FYI. this does NOT occur if I have the page set as stretched. Only in Boxed mode which is possibly why your sample page of http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/single-portfolio-fullscreen-slider-3/ works fine for me but the page referred to of http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/ is ALSO choppy on Safari even as a stretched page. I hope you guys can figure this one out as the effect is definitely eye-catching.
Awesome! It works.
1. I did not have #wrap_all for ID
2. Still had background set in the enfold Style tab
Once again, GOOD WORK!

Alright, I think the mystery is finally solved. I use Go Daddy for my hosting and have Website Accelerator enabled which is caching my site through different ip’s. I have disabled the accelerator for the moment and we are getting changes just as needed with the styling. Thanks for your help anyway. Consider this problem solved.

Have tried everything I can think of at this point. No plugins are active and still can’t get a simple color change on header. Becoming a bit frustrating at this stage. I did not think this would be that difficult a task.
Thanks but I have already tried that. Everything is fine in that area. I did test turning off all plugins and it seems that it may be an issue with JetPack. Once all plugins were disabled the site looks right on Safari as well as all other browsers but then I was unable to change the site again even after disabling the plugins so I don’t know if it just needs time to show changes or not but it certainly seems to be a JetPack problem.
Thanks Devin,
I did do a bit of testing and it appears to work fine if I remove a few of the elements of the page. I have used the same home page setup as your demo on ThemeForest. It does not seem to matter what order I remove the elements (i.e. I can remove layerslider and testimonials and it will work or I can remove the 3 1/3 section and the about us and mobile ready and it will work). This makes me believe that it is struggling with all of those elements on one page at a time. I also believe it struggles with how the animation on graphics seem to load then reload with a white flash in between (I don’t have a better way of explaining that).
Thanks for time and with tagging Kriesi on this.
BTW,
Did i mention i have the same problem if i go to http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ with my iPad.
It crashes Safari as well so I don’t believe it is a problem with the memory allocation.
I really thought you were on to something as it loaded on my iPad one time after the increase in memory however it did not load again after that. I appreciate your help and really hope to get past this issue as I think this is definitely one of the better templates available.
I have tested the site with no slider on the Home page and still crash the site. So in other words it seems to be something else causing the Home page crash with Safari on the iPad first ten.
I should add that this does not seem to be a problem on an iPhone
Thanks Devin.
It appears that most pages (in fact all pages) with the exception of the home page are working fine on the iPad. The home page includes a slider. The page loads approx. 70% through then crashes Safari. I can always remove the layer slider but would prefer not to have to. The slider currently only has one frame and should not cause this sort of problem. I also have also crunched the files in the slider to the lowest possible size.
