Hi Victoria, thanks you for checking in. I’ll be ok I think. There’s another issue (separate support request) I need to fix first before I can use the solution on the final site though.
Aah, that’s exactly what I meant.
Thanks a lot! I’ll play around with it tomorrow. Not yet I’m afraid. I’ve only just started on testing some things for a new website I’m working on. There’s just 4 posts in 4 categories now, to get the search options working using a plugin.
There will be about 44 posts in 4 categories of activities when the site goes live. The grid will show them all at first, and the user will be able to check boxes on the categories and tags to narrow things down. We are communicating the different colours for the categories (activities) throughout the website, so it would be logical to see those colours on the posts in the masonry grid as well.
We have to present the design at the end of this week, so it’s important to know if it’s even possible. Otherwise we don’t want to show it.- This reply was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by rhae.
Hi Rikard,
great , that worked!
Thanks a lot.Best regards, Haiko.
Hi Rikard,
that must have been it. Thank you, problem solved.
Best regards, Haiko.
Hi Rikard,
I’ve deleted them, and used another browser to double check it, but I’m afraid it doesn’t work yet :(
The code is near the end of my custom CSS. Is it possible for you to log in using the supplied credentials and check what might happening?Best regards, Haiko.
August 10, 2019 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Position of Title and Excerpt on Masonry, and color of border on hover #1126412Hi Ismael,
Thank you. Isn’t there an easy way for a non-programmer to, maybe using quick css, to get control over the positioning of the title and the excepts (full-time) and get them a bit closer together?
Best regards, Haiko.
Hi Rikard,
great, that worked!
Problem solved :-)
Thank you!Is this something that can be changed globally in the next version of Enfold, or is this behaviour of a special character in the special heading on purpose?
Best regards, Haiko.
Hi Rikard,
Thank you for your reply. I’m afraid that code doesn’t do the trick, I still go to the portfolio page after clicking on the tile.
Best regards, Haiko.
July 23, 2019 at 11:35 pm in reply to: Position of Title and Excerpt on Masonry, and color of border on hover #1121323Hi Victoria,
Thank you, the text is now visible in three column view.
The spacing between the two text is still not like the example though. Is it possible to get control over how much space there is between the texts?
I’ve added a view screenshots of how it looks now (in Safari). See my first post on how I would like it to look.Best, Haiko.
July 17, 2019 at 10:59 pm in reply to: Position of Title and Excerpt on Masonry, and color of border on hover #1119728Hi Basilis, no I meant the views on different browser widths, and on denktop, tablet and mobile.
The masonry goes from 4 to 3 to 2 to 1, an depending on the view the texts have a different position or are not visible.Best, Haiko.
July 15, 2019 at 11:41 pm in reply to: Position of Title and Excerpt on Masonry, and color of border on hover #1118982Hi Ismael,
thanks for your reply. The border works now.
1) Question 1 is still open. I managed to get it partly working using the code I pasted in my request above, but it doesn’t work like it should on all different zoom levels, and the Excerpt is placed a bit too low.
Can you have a look at how to get it working right all the time, on desktop and mobile?Thank you, Haiko.
Hi, I just found the info here:
Link to documentationWhat follows is a copy/paste from the documentation, there’s more to be found on the page itself.
It worked on my end, though it looks like you need to put all the fonts you need in one zip file, not upload them as separate font folders.———–
Using the typefont uploader
The uploader is intended to use Google Fonts (https://fonts.google.com/) to avoid connecting to the Google API.Following steps are required for normal use:
Open https://fonts.google.com
Select the fonts you like by clicking the red + sign (you may select multiple fonts)
A “Family Selected” bar pops up at the bottom
When finished click this bar and download the zip file by clicking the red “Arrow Down” sign in the right top corner
Goto WP -> Dashboard -> Enfold (Enfold Child) -> Import/Export
Click button “Upload/Select Typefont zip”
WP Media popup opens, upload the zip file you just downloaded (you can also choose an already uploaded font zip)
Click “Insert zip file” button
When upload is finished we save your options and reload the page so the new fonts become available in the selectboxes of “General Styling” and “Advanced Styling” tabs
Below the “Upload/Select Typefont zip” you see a list of all uploaded fonts with info of available styles and weights

I’m afraid that’s incorrect. The Ubuntu Condensed is a separate font, with a weight of 400.
Ubuntu Condensed
The 300 weight is a light version. The font (although it was the wrong version) was the Ubuntu when I opened the site, but when I opened the font options in WordPress everything was set to the default font Arial again.
Can you have another look?
December 5, 2017 at 1:18 pm in reply to: Custom heading and body font keep jumping back to the default font (Arial) #885033Hi Ismael,
The site is finally back online. Our provider was suffering from a DDOS attach that lasted two days.
If you have time to take another look that would be great.December 1, 2017 at 10:27 am in reply to: Custom heading and body font keep jumping back to the default font (Arial) #883800Good morning, thanks for looking into it.
I just checked the site on a few devices (and emptied the cache and did a browser flush) but the font was set to the default again.
I tried changing them, but setting both the heading and the body font still didn’t work.
For now I set just the heading font to Ubuntu Condensed again. Can you have another look if you can see what’s the problem?
Hi Yigit,
Thanks a lot! Really weird, but it works now.
Problem solved! :-)Hi Yigit,
Still no change visible on the site on my end :(
Hi Yigit,
I still see the English text above the forms. I tried a different browser but no change there as well.
Hi Yigit,
thanks for looking into it. I’ve added the private details.
The text I would like to appear on both of my forms is ‘Los als veiligheidsmaatregel de volgende som op ‘ instead of ‘Please prove that you are human by solving the equation ‘The forms are here:
http://www.kinderfeestjesmeteenverhaal.nl/verkooppunten/
http://www.kinderfeestjesmeteenverhaal.nl/contact/As said, the savest option for me would be to add them to the child theme functions.php to avoid problems in the future.

November 29, 2017 at 12:08 pm in reply to: Custom heading and body font keep jumping back to the default font (Arial) #883006Hi John,
for some reason I can’t get the Ubuntu and the Ubuntu Condensed to ‘stick’ anymore.
When I choose them in the options they preview OK, but after I click OK the font on the site is not changed.
Sometimes it works to just change the heading, but the body font in combination with the heading doesn’t work.
Do you have any idea why this is happening?November 27, 2017 at 7:23 pm in reply to: Background color left and right of Grid Row and grid row alignment #882334Hi Mike,
Since the browser window size (on desktop) will be different for every user, I can’t adjust the padding based on the screen size.
Using max-width is not possible in any way without the green background? Why is it a green background? Can’t I make it white in any way? That would solve it.November 27, 2017 at 7:19 pm in reply to: How to remove the border radius from all images/buttons etc? #882333Hi Nikko,
great, that worked! Thanks.
November 27, 2017 at 7:14 pm in reply to: Custom heading and body font keep jumping back to the default font (Arial) #882330Hi John,
thanks for your reply. The font is ok now, but after changing some pages, it jumps back to Arial again.
This happens quite often, almost every session when I’m editing pages. I’m not doing anything to the theme options.November 19, 2017 at 7:36 pm in reply to: Background color left and right of Grid Row and grid row alignment #878823Hi Mike, the green background was fixed already.
The grid row is on two pages, I’ve added a screenshot of the first page.
Depending on the size of the browser window the grid row either aligns or doesn’t.- This reply was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by rhae.
November 19, 2017 at 6:37 pm in reply to: Background color left and right of Grid Row and grid row alignment #878812Hi John, thanks for your answer.
I added the code to the side, and it does help to get rid of the green background. :-)
The alignment is not right yet. I’ve adjusted the padding amount a bit, but depending on the width of the browser screen the alignment changes.
Is there a way to make it always fit inside the margins of the rest of the content?November 16, 2017 at 10:20 pm in reply to: Adjust margins between Caption Title and Caption Text in the fullscreen slider #877792Hi Basilis,
Thanks! That worked for the Caption Text.
For other users to find: I’ve adjusted the margin below the Caption Title as well with this code:.avia-caption-title { margin-bottom: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important; }
November 16, 2017 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Background color left and right of Grid Row and grid row alignment #877538Hi,
Any news on my three support questions?
We need to go live at the end of the day … Thnx!Great, that seems to do the trick!
Thanks a lot.Best, Haiko.
