Hello Rikard. The information you requested is in Private Content box. BTW the site is hosted by godaddy managed wordpress plan. Thanks for your help, Rob
Dear Friends
I am having the same problem too. Is this something that will be fixed, or will we have to update via FTP from now on?Also is it a problem with the php version? The site in question is on a godaddy managed WP plan. Not sure what version they are running.
Thanks Much, Rob
March 8, 2018 at 12:40 am in reply to: HTTP Error 500 since wordpress updated to 4.9.4 and enfold updated 4.2.6 #923480OK I fixed it by replacing head.php with the one you provided. Thanks for quick response. I need to ask the client’s tiny hosting company to do the php version switch, right? And when the make that switch will the site run OK, or will I then have to go and replace header.php.
Please close this topic. Thanks again.
Thanks Mike I never have thought of that.
April 21, 2017 at 2:05 am in reply to: sidebar pages with full width masthead image Medical sub theme #780937Sorry I fixed this. Topic closed. Thanks.
Thanks for that. I see I just need to uncomment the last line on this file: Enfold: Theme Functions (functions.php) That is a file that gets overwritten when Enfold is updated correct? Will that cause the CSS to stop working?
Rob
Issue is resolved you can close this topic.
Thanks that works perfectly. Also thanks to all of you for never stopping to make Enfold better!
Rob
I am have the exact same issue. Using the avia contact form, messages get sent reliably to all of the many emails I have tried EXCEPT my client’s Yahoo address. Can I get any help with this other than switching to contact form 7 and having to style it to look like your nice contact form? Thanks Much.
It’s a bit more than OK. Good work.
Thanks, fixed.
Very nice. I think in the US a contact form would be normal. Did you start with the default theme or one of the subthemes such as “Minimal Portfolio”? Thanks.
Agree that it’s very striking and kinda fun to figure out what you did. Is it a slider and a headline rotator size by side with a css gradient background and the slider column set to hide on narrower screens? Also a very nice concept to have one killer element and the rest of the site super simple and clean.
Hi
Here’s one I made with the Church sub theme: http://www.calbr.org/
This one is from the One Page Portfolio: http://marthamhall.com/I thought the sub themes were just arrangements of standard elements with fonts and colors to create a certain mood. But now I think the elements behave a little differently. In Church I can’t get the icons to have the radiating circle animation on hover. Also I wouldn’t know how to make the 2nd color section on the page overlap the first color section as on almost all my pages. Am I right? Also in church are you giving Event Calendar some styling to go with theme? I don’t recall it looking so nice before.
Thanks, Rob
June 10, 2016 at 12:02 am in reply to: fatal error after update to wp 4.5.2 and enfold 3.6.1 #645853Seems to have worked 100%. Thanks.
Thanks for fast reply. So I should delete enfold completely via FTP and install new copy? All my Enfold settings will be preserved?
Good, that’s going to solve a few little issues. Thanks again.
Thanks Yigit. You got me going in the right direction. In order to get it to work on the iPad I needed to nudge the caption up too:
@media only screen and (min-width: 767px) and (max-width: 1023px) {
#top .avia-slideshow-button { margin-top: -50px !important; }}@media only screen and (min-width: 767px) and (max-width: 1023px) {
#top .avia-caption-content { margin-top: -25px !important; }}and if you just want the email share icon to open up the visitor’s email client so they can share about your website use this: mailto:? or mailto:?subject=check out this cool website
Just FYI the update to 4.5 took down my godaddy managed wordpress sites but update to 3.5.2 fixed. Was able to update enold via theme update feature in dashboard.
Hello Andy. I had already done all that except for deactivating yoast and updraft+. I also have now checked it on another phone (also galaxy s5). I had also checked the same element on another website and found same problem.
However I just did exactly precisely what you suggested and same problem. Even weirder I have now discovered if you touch the element with a swiping gesture there is no problem. But if you tap – even gently – anywhere in the color section that contains the testimonial slider, the slider freezes. Thanks very much, Rob http://mobilebyfriday.com/
ps any opinion on using the caching plugin in general? Tested by pingdom from NY the loads in about 950ms without the plugin and 650ms with (which is awesome). Are caching plugins likely to cause odd problems?

NIce use of Enfold features. I like A, B, and D. Just because I don’t like the white borders in C. I think you are at the point where it’s just personal preference. On C and D I don’t think the background image behind your share icons is helping at all. If you are asking about the to have the footer or not I would use it if I has a functional purpose but it it does not add to functionality don’t use.

April 5, 2016 at 8:26 pm in reply to: fullscreen slider caption below screen on windows laptop #608508Hey Thanks all.
I could not quite make it perfect at all screen sizes however by wrapping Ishmael’s code in an aspect-ratio media query and applying css only to really wide screens now it is perfect:
@media screen and (min-aspect-ratio: 5/3) { .slideshow_align_caption {
vertical-align: top;
top: 35%;
} }April 1, 2016 at 7:48 pm in reply to: fullscreen slider caption below screen on windows laptop #606838Hey Guys
Thanks for the quick reply. Sadly, I started with a full screen slider but you guys were unable to resolve an issue that I was having so I switched to the full width slider. My request for help was entitled “fullscreen slider resizing on phone” I’m guessing if I went back to a full screen slider I’d have the same issue again.
I don’t really care if the image gets cut off a bit when someone maximizes the viewport on a wide-screen device. However the buttons which are the main nav for the site do need to be visible. Is there no way to more the text and buttons up a bit *only* when the viewport is maximised on a wide-screen device?
Thanks Again for the help.

March 31, 2016 at 7:49 pm in reply to: fullscreen slider caption below screen on windows laptop #606156Sorry but I said the wrong thing. It’s not a fullscreen slider it’s a fullwidth slider. I do not see any setting for maximum height. Please advise where the setting s or maybe some css can accomplish the same thing. Thanks for the quick response.
btw my images are 1500 x 1500 and the slider is set to extra large
Thanks Again, Rob
Thanks for that @pako69
I also did a feature request related to thin fonts if anyone wants to vote: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
I’ve done a bit of testing. Evidence is this an issue on android and not iphone. That’s just based on 4 phones. If you could possibly fix it that would be excellent, I’d really like to us that element. Thanks
Thanks Monique. I was hoping there was a way that avoided modifying a php file….
Hey pako69 you are using Raleway for body text which is not standard with Enfold. Is there an easy way to do that or would I need to edit some php files? I think you are also using some font weights that are not standard. How are you doing that? Last are there other thin fonts you like? Thanks, Rob
ps Beautiful site. Looks expensive.
