    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for your message. The idea was, that you would generate the password on your on (via the password forgotten link). Anyway, I really had a custom footer.php. I removed it and now everything works fine. :-)

    Regards,

    Ralf

Same problem here. I cloned the website so you can easily explore.

in reply to: Enfold Update does not find the newest version #1195380

I installed the Enfold Market Plugin on the original site and it says now:

Incorrect token permissions, please generate another token or fix the permissions on the existing token.

Please ensure only the following permissions are enabled:

    View and search Envato sites
    Download your purchased items
    List purchases you’ve made
    Diese Meldung ausblenden.
    Additional Error Details:
Found too many permissions on token..
    sale:verify

Is that the cause for our update problem? How can I fix that?

Sorry, I forgot that by re-activating the “original clone” your user got lost. I added it again. So if you want to investigate that further, it should work. Meanwhile, I will check out this plugin (somewhere else, not on the test site). Thank you!

After deactivating all plugins, the “Update Available!” message is shown for Enfold. So far so good. But the weird thing is:

I restored the old version of the whole installation (via Updraft) again. It’s the version that I exported from the original site before (Mar 19, 2020 16:14), so in theory, the website should be the exact same as before, let’s say the original clone, with all plugins activated.

Enfold shows there immediately “Update Available!” which it didn’t before, as you know (and which it still does not for the original website, by the way).

I suppose the update issue has nothing to do with the other plugins but somehow with the update mechanism itself. I observed similar strange behavior many times before on various other websites in the last couple of months: Sometimes Enfold updates are indicated and sometimes they are not. Sometimes the button “Revalidate or remove the token” helped and sometimes it did not.

    What do you think?

The other installation was just a backup folder. I deleted it now – didn’t change anything.

I cloned the whole system and there you can examine that issue too.

in reply to: Ekomi-Widget does not work in Colums #951598

    Hi Ricard,

Thanks for your message. Yes, it’s an image, but it’s kind of a generated one. So the widget always shows the picture with the newest or whatever reviews from eKomi.

I will purge the personal data and give you access to the website soon.

    Best regards,

    Ralf

    Hi Victoria,

Thanks for your answer. It’s possible to grant you admin access, but inside this WP installation are some sensitive data stored (via formular) and I had to look after that first. So it would be kind if you could first look at the test pages I have created (see links below). The sourecode contains the eKomi-stuff in both cases but in the second case (inside a 1/1 column) the widget isn’t show.

    Thanks a lot!

in reply to: Pre-opened Tab Section and Anchor #874123

    Hi Rikard,

What you describe is very close to what I want. My aim is to have a link which both opens a tab and navigates to an anchor, but not within the tab but above the tab section.

    Best regards,

    Ralf

in reply to: Pre-opened Tab Section and Anchor #873684

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for your message. Let me show you an example:

This opens the mid tab section: https://rechtsanwalt-pethö.de/#eigentum

And this leads you to the heading just above the tab section: https://rechtsanwalt-pethö.de/#problem

But how can I do both of these steps together? As far as I know I only can give one “#” at the end of the URL, can’t I?

    Best regards,

    Ralf

in reply to: How to avoid meta data in Facebook's link preview? #849683

Thanks for your advise. I usually work with freelancers to tweak Enfold etc. But in this case it’s not necessary. I checked it out again and now the metadata are no longer shown in the Facebook preview. Because there was no Enfold update it must be Facebook itself that fixed this problem, so I am happy.

in reply to: How to avoid meta data in Facebook's link preview? #847108

Well, it’s not really a “solution”, actually it was only a test. I guess it’s up to you to implement a solution in Enfold. The task is to find a convenient way to share blog posts on Facebook with a preview which isn’t defaced by any ugly meta data.

in reply to: How to avoid meta data in Facebook's link preview? #846889

OK, it’s the loop-index.php I have to change. I removed the Post Meta Infos before pasting the link in Facebook and everything is fine. It doesn’t seem to bother Facebook if you change it again afterwards in your blog. It’s at least a workaround. ;-)

Glad having found this discussion. I have the same issue not only on my iPhone, but also on my Mac with Safari. That’s why I have disabled the whole WP Rocket plugin now. Only to disable the mobile cache did not help for Safari on Mac.

Unfortunately I did not recognize the problem immediately, because usually I am logged in while I am using Safari on my Mac.
