    Thank you Basilis, do you have a good plug in to do that ? I heard about Responsify-wp but last update was 1 year ago, I don’t know if it’s secure and supported actually.;;

    Guenni007, thanks for helping !
I check the class and page-id and it’s ok at my side. Maybe I can send you my website link by mail if you want to chek where the problem is ? The GTmetrix test is exactly the same with or without the function.

    Thanks Guenni007 for your help.

I tried your function but GTmetrix test is exactly the same about the values so I think maybe the two sliders are loaded in the same time whatever the device.

In the GTmetrix report, I still have 2 separate images, the full screen slider has the original JPEG file and the full width slider has the same image with x21708 (look the screen capture). It’s the same for all the photos so the loaded is doubled.

I am sorry Guenni007 for my language error, when I said “easy slider” I mean ” full width easy slider”.

I use it for mobile and hide it for large screen and medium screen
and I use “Full screen slider ” for large screen and hide it for small screen and very small screen.

It works perfectly like that but the two sliders are loaded each time watever the screen size so I would like not to load the useless slider when it’s not necessary.

    Thank you Basilis !

in reply to: Full screen slider display #1141706

    Thank you to all,

On my home, I use actually full screen slider on large screen and easy slider for mobile but the problem is that I have two slider and even if I hide full screen for mobile and easy slider for large screen, the two are loaded everytime and it’s too heavy (bad for seo and bad for user experience).
Easy slider for mobile works perfectly for mobile (It’s exactly what I want) and I would like to have full screen slider with the entirely image, even in portrait mode.

If there is no solution, maybe it’s possible to keep the actual solution if you have a way to not load the easy slider in large screen and full screen slider in mobile view. In this way, a single slider would be loaded and not two for eah screen size.
    Maybe a functions.php solution ?

    Ok Ismael, I understand,

So if I upload a second version of my photo in the Media Library; I have 2 versions of it: 1000×664 px and 500×330 px, how can i declare scrset attribute and sizes in my page in order to tell the browser which one to choose depending on the viewport ?

    Regards

    Victoria,
    Thanks for your kindness !

What do you think about W3 Total Cache ? Is it good for doing this or do you think about another better plug in ?

Thanks again for sharing Guenni007 !

I’m sure you got an idea in order to have search button in line view in Media Library ? Actually, this button only exist in grid view (look in attachement)

    Thanks for help Guenni007 !

in reply to: Responsive Image and loading #1141043

If the image displayed on mobile measures 500×300, I need to have a loaded image at 500×300.
    How can I do that?

in reply to: Responsive Image and loading #1141007

For example, on mobile view (see in private) the first image is loaded in 1500×1001 px 419ko. Too heavy for mobile…
The original was upload in media library at 1500×1001 px 419ko.

I don’t understand why the image loaded is always 1500×1001 px 419ko whatever the screen size (mobile, tablet, computer, laptop…)

    Could you explain ?

    Regards

    Hi Victoria,

in reply to: setting menu display #1140436

    Hello to all !

I come back about this post, I applied Ismael solution and it works well exept for a detail: on mobile view, the slider exceeds the size of the screen. So for the moment, I keep the solution of 2 sliders for my home (one for large screen and one for mobile screen) but it’s not a good solution because my page weight is huge because of the loading of 2 sliders.

So I create a test page to move the size slider problem, you can see it in private content.

In the same time, if it’s possible to keep the solution with two sliders (that works perfectly) for my home, I would need to ban the loading of the mobile slider on computer and vice versa because hide slider on large screen does not prevent the loading of it and google load 2 sliders in the same time and it’s bad for SEO and user experience.
( I create another topic for this specific problem: 2 different sliders, one for mobile and one for computer screen.)

    Thanks for help,

    Regards,

    Iceman
