Icemanok thank you so much for your help Ismael.
Could you tell me the loading size of photos in the page (for exemple the photo in screen capture) in private ?It is serving at 1030×688 but what is the loadig size ?
Thanks for the precision.

IcemanThank you Victoria.
Do you know a good plug in for adaptive images ? I tested Shotpixel adaptive, Adaptive Images, Responsify-wp (no longer maintenance), but no one gave a good result.
Cheers !

Ok Nikko, it’s nice of you to help me.
Have a good day !
Cheers !
IcemanHi Nikko, it’s works well now but do you have a solution to better frame the image ?
Look in private my test page in comparison to my home. As you can see, the images on test page are lower than home’s photos.
Cheers !
IcemanOctober 2, 2019 at 3:32 pm in reply to: Optimize the display of your sites by delaying the loading of the images #1144180No idea ?
Maybe something like that: loading the first 3 pictures and the following while displaying the first 3 pictures …Thanks for helping Ismael,
I understand. I red the 3000px instruction on the plug in site.
Using a plug in is easier but I do not know which works well.
I tried responsify-wp but there is no more maintenance today, I test Adaptive Images but it does not work very well, and ShortPixel Adaptive Images but bad job.
I tried wp retina images but resized images are not very beautiful. I’m a photographer and I need to show quality images but controlling the weight.I would also like there to be the minimum impact on the site and the plug in is easy to install because I hope to use Enfold solution under development as soon as it is released.
If anyone have a suggestion about a good plug in to do the job, I’ll take it !
Regards

Ok Nikko, great !
Do I need to deactivate javascript and css minification (or other options that can disturbing) in W3 Total Cache if I activate CSS and javascript file merging in Enfold theme ?See the results in private

Hey Nikko,
See in private the screen capture. I just flushed out the cache
Regards,
IcemanHi Nikko ,
I added it but it doesn’t work.
See the result in the link in private. I would like the same result i have with my home.
Thanks for helping NikkoGuenni007, you work too much !
It is past 9 p.m. !I add your function and It works well but on large screen , the height of the slider is not the same as fullscreen slider.
I create a new page test in order to show you the result. Change the url of my test page by replacing “test” by “test-2” at the end of the url.But do not look tonight, it’s late ! Take advantage of your evening !
We will take a look tomorrow if you want.
Thank you again for your kindness and your precious help.Good night Guenni007 !
Thank Guenni007, it’s nice of you.
I know Kriesi team are working on responsive images solution.
But until the release of the update, I must find a solution to optimize my images… I don’t know good plug in for this job and I prefer not use one. I prefer manual solution in order to have maximum control of the display result. What do you think of this subject of responsive images ? What is your opinion ?Victoria, do you know approximately the release date of responsive image issu ?
I really need a solution to wait while waiting for this update.
Do you know a solid solution to do the job without it affecting my Media Library.
I’ll give it up and go back as soon as your solution comes out.Victoria, could you explain how to turn on Enfold Javascript Merging ?
Another solution is to just use full width slider (actually on mobile version) and adapt it in order to have the same render on large screen (pc, laptop…). Actually, if I use it on large screen, the photos are enlarge and cropped. Do ou think it should be a better solution ?
But your suggestion with cloneNode() sounds good…

What do you mean by JavaScript merging ?
My logo and menu disappear since i edit the new function.
I go back and hope to find a solution. Thanks for your kindness Guenni007, it’s very nice of you to helping !- This reply was modified 5 years, 1 month ago by ICEMAN.
I purge all the caches now.
My problem is that I have too many photos on my sliders (both)
I create a test page I sent you by mail. I just left one photo one each sliders. You can test the both page with GTMetrix, the difference is important but the page is still heavy !- This reply was modified 5 years, 1 month ago by ICEMAN.
I done it, it’s work well.
However GTMetrix report is exactly the same.- This reply was modified 5 years, 1 month ago by ICEMAN.
see a previews post “setting menu display” for explaination

Guenni007, thanks for helping !
My full screen slider is above header because of my logo and menu bar location. If not, my logo and menu move next to the slider.- This reply was modified 5 years, 1 month ago by ICEMAN.
Hi Victoria, see the result for javascript in private :)
Regards,
IcemanThanks Basilis but this plug in needs to upload 3000px images size so it’s to big for me. I am a photographer and I’ve a ot of photos on my Media Library, the risk is to explode my hosting account ;)
Do you know another plug in for the job ? I upload my photo at 1000×664 px.
Thanks for helping !
Icemanit’s done ;)
Ok, Guenni007, It’s nice of you to help, I wish both, your daughter and you, an happy birthday party !
Your function seems to work, I let you verify by yourself. I am looking to optimize my home because it still too heavy for SEO and user experience.
Have a beautiful day !Iceman
Victoria, I use W3 TOTAL CACHE and as you see in the screen capture, GTmetrix test, some of resources are still bad with js…
Guenni007, i sent you my website link by email. Regards
Ok, thank you Victoria, you can close this topic , have a nice day !
