Thanks Rikard for your answer.
My home page seems to be loading very slowly. Is there any solution in order to reduce the loading time ?

December 5, 2019 at 6:33 pm in reply to: Specific CSS apply for a specific page but exepting an element #1163103Thank you Yigit, I will try to use your solution but do you have an idea to exept an area (special header area “un peu de moi”) from my code
.page-id-26 p {text-align:justify;}
Thank you Victoria.
Jordan solution didn’t work.
So I create a test page in private so you can see the result.
The css is:.page-id-718 .menu, h3.widget-title, span.avia-menu-text, .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a, #top #header .mega_menu_title a { font-family:'arial', sans-serif!important; text-transform: uppercase!important; letter-spacing:1px!important; font-weight:normal!important; font-size:15px!important; text-align: center!important; color: red!important; }
In addition to the red color, I would like to have the logo bigger on my home and moved slightly to the left compared to the menu for better centering (10 or 15 px) . I would like all these apply just for the home page.
I tried a lot of solution but I don’t find the good one.Thanks for helping,
Regards

Thank you Jordan, I will try, it’s nice of you,
I will let you know,In the same way, how do I code a specific police H1 size for a specific article ?
I tried this:/*ARTICLE TITLE*/ .page-id-24 h1.entry-title { font-size: 26px; !important; }
It doesn’t work so what is the mistake ?
Regards,
IcemanHi Victoria,
Hope you are doing well :)
I talk about magnifying glass effect over mouse
Regards
IcemanHi Victoria,
1— I try your solution to deactivate magnification effect overflight but it doesn’t work, I try some other things but without success…
Does anyone have a solution ?2— I would like to know exactly the size and weight of the first image (top left ) of my masonry when it displays and the loading size and weight.
Thanks in advance

IcemanHi Victoria,
Sorry for the silence but I was abroad for 19 days.
Exactly, I use Classic Editor.Regards,
IcemanI was abroad for 19 days and I come back today. I am sad to read this news.
You have allowed me to make a lot of progress in understanding the wordpress tool. I will try to improve and continue in this way.
Thanks for everything Guenni ;-)
Regards,
IcemanThanks for your kindness Victoria !
It works well for the moment.But I have a trouble with masonry.
Look results in private: If I replace slider by masonry on large screen, even if I use just one photos, the total page size difference is about 2Mo so it’s mean that masonry weight (with just one photo) is about 2 Mo. It’s huge !
What do you think about ?Regards,

Hi,
You are right Rikard, I want the sidebar sticky. I didn’t try your solution because I don’t know where I must past the code below
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
Thank you Guenni for your help. Your link for your tutorial page say: Fehler 404 – Seite nicht gefunden.
Regards.

Thank you Ismael,
Regards,
Icemanyes absolutely, I refreshed all caching and auptimizer
Guenni, I test your solution (paste /aa-test-2/ ) after my home link to access my test page.
As you can see, the GTMetrix test is less good. Total page size up to 5.46 mo against 3.66Mo on actual home and the loading time is 5.6s against actual 3.3s. I don’t understand why…So actual 2 sliders is lighter than just 1 slider…. I don’t understand why…
Hi Guenni, I test your testimonial-styling, you can see the result, it’s works perfectly and it’s beautiful.
Like I said to you yesterday, I am looking to test for a smaller fullscreen slider which would allow to use smaller photos and so, make the loading time shorter. I have to find a nice layout.
What do you think about this idea ? In that way, I can keep the slider.Otherwise, I have to replace the slider with a responsive mosaic of photos with a fixed height ( like fullscreen slider).
I will end the slider so that the site is operational and efficient and after I will work on the idea of the mosaic to perform performance tests

Have a beautiful day,
IcemanYou are right Guenni, it is better to keep full screen slider. Maybe the solution is to put fullscreen slider in a container and so, resize it to have smaller images (for example 500px x 334px) , in that way, images are ok for all screen sizes.
I don’t know if its possible to contain fullscreen slider in a container…Thanks Victoria.
With Masonry solution,Is it possible to :
– deactivate magnification effect overflight
– always having complete lines
– set a fixed height like the full screen slider
– Having my banner with logo and menu at the same actual place on my home)- This reply was modified 5 years, 2 months ago by ICEMAN.
I agree with you but I should be able to save more time on my home page because if you try you will see that it is still too long to load (test after clear your cache)
Thanks Guenni007, I can’t test today because of great maintenance work at web host today.
I come back to you as soon as possible !We are looking for a lot of solutions to optimize the resources mobilized by these sliders.
In a general and objective way, do you think that the slider is a bad solution for a home page?Ok Victoria, thanks for your feed-back,

IcemanOctober 7, 2019 at 12:42 pm in reply to: Optimize the display of your sites by delaying the loading of the images #1145745Thank you Ismael, I already looked for Lazy Load plug ins but it’s bad for SEO. I prefer manual soltuion without plug in with <noscript> tag.
I think about something like that: <!-- Lazy loaded image: before --> <img data-src="photo.jpg" src="photoA.jpg" class="js-lazyload" src="data…" /> <noscript> <img src="photoA.jpg" alt="my photo A"… /> </noscript> <!-- Lazy loaded image: after --> <img src="photoB.jpg" class="js-lazyload" … / <noscript> <img src="photoB.jpg" alt="my photo B"… /> </noscript>
Does anyone got an idea ?
