Thank you so much for getting back to me! I was working on this on behalf of a colleague.
But I think I have sorted it by removing the span and changing some code to make the css class work. Only issue i have now is making the top menu stretch across the top of the screen on mobile.

Thats so odd – I did it with private browsing on serveral devices – but it works now!

Sorry it doesn’t work – I tried it in a few browsers and it is still animated.

The code hides the white box (which is great) – but they still animate on roll over – I want them completely static :-)

Thanks for looking. I think I solved it last night. I turned off all the plugins one by one and I found one was causing it so left it off. Was going to reply this morning but you beat me to it. Fingers crossed it is all fixed now.

This is working now! Yay… but still now LayerSlider working, even with WordFence disabled… Any ideas if this is something that will be fixed soon? or is it just me?
The issue that I am having is that I have no images in layerslider even after the update so I tried to de-activate Wordfence – now I get a blank screen after login and can’t access the WP dashboard at all. Any ideas???

Thanks that’s fixed the tab problem – but has added a weird widget – that I can find to remove – above the footer on the home page – any ideas?
Its a list of all the website pages between the dark blue footer and the latest news.
