Ooooh, no! ;-)
Hi Rikard,
I logged into the backend and suddenly the correct font sizes were back. I didn’t have to change anything.
Thanks a million and all the best!
PetraThe font is bigger overall, but I can still adjust that. Thanks again!
Hi Rikard,
Many thanks for your help! Can you tell me what the problem was? I will have to update many pages to the current version in the future. On a website that I have already touched, it worked without any problems.
Kindest regards,

Dear Ismael,
Thank you very much for your quick feedback. The last time I had downloaded an update was on March 03, 2023, and I had also updated my website with this one. After that there were updates on March 23, 2023, and April 17, 2023, if I am informed correctly. You can certainly better decide which of these two versions would be helpful for me.
I couldn’t give you any more hints because my website was no longer accessible after the current Enfold version was installed. The browser was only white with the note that there was a serious problem. In fact, there was nothing I could do.Kind regards,
PetraThis reply has been marked as private.Would it be possible for you to provide us with the last version before the big update? I would also pay for it. I don’t see any other possibility. In Envato Market, only the version from the end of August is available. Thank you very much in advance.
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, in my case, there was no longer any way to access the website. I tried everything, deactivated plugins via FTP, etc. Nothing worked.
And yes, I update my site regularly, but customers rarely follow the recommendations. And they won’t want to pay to create a clone every time. That means the solution is not necessarily practical. What should I do now? Isn’t there an intermediate step?Best regards,
PetraI had the identical problem today and had to go back to the old version. A serious problem was pointed out.

thank you so much! I really feel ashamed not to come up with the idea of doing this. Because it worked on websites with older Enfold versions when I tested it? Murphy’s law?!
Best regards,

PetraNovember 22, 2018 at 6:31 pm in reply to: CSS for Burger Menu doesn't work with latest Enfold version #1036685Hi Victoria,
it still doesn’t work. I put your code in style.css (Child-Theme) and custom.css (Enfold), but nothing happened.
I really don’t understand why. Even my code ever worked with former Enfold versions.
Do you have an idea what goes wrong with your latest release?Best regards,

many thanks for your answer. You’ll find the URL below.
Best regards,
PetraHi Nikko,
yes, I know! No problem!
Many thanks again & best regards,
PetraYour’re welcome, Arlie_Francis! :)
Hi Arlie_Francis,
I’ve got this message in same cases too. I think it refers to the new version of API keys Google will introduce in June. They only work with payment but will be free for low traffic (200 a day).
Best regards,
PetraDear all,
Nikko gave me the key advice this morning. I’ve put the API key in the following code and the maps started working again …. I’m so happy!
enfold > framework > php > class-gmaps.php (line 345, in my case it’s line 79):
avia_framework_globals.gmap_api = ‘” .$api_key . “‘;Many thanks and best regards,
PetraHi Nikko,
you’re great! I will never forget this file (in my case the code is placed on line 79)! The spaces are deleted and the maps are working like they did before.
Thank you sooooo much! :)
Best regards,
PetraHey Yigit,
many thanks again! This sounds calming. ;)
All the best!
Petra
(I think you may close this topic.)Hey Yigit,
thank you for your reply!
I’ve always updated Enfold via FTP overwriting the files but never had problems like this.
Starting from now, I will delete the Enfold folder first … but better at midnight because this practice will cause a completely breakdown of the website for a while. ;)Best regards,
PetraPS: You should better remove the demo files then and only offer them as an option. It takes a long time to update all files and not everybody needs those presettings.
Hi Nikko,
many thanks for your reply. I’ve just replaced the file but it didn’t help. Do you know in which file I can remove the space in front of the API key (the source code shows a space which is not normal)? This seems to be the solution.
Best regards,
PetraHi tremblayly,
how did you remove the space from your API key, in which file?
Enfold doesn’t answer. I’ve found the bug in the source code of many websites that I’ve just updated to the latest WordPress Version.
Thank you very much for an answer in advance!
PetraDear all,
I’ve got the same messages from Google yesterday but found space characters in front of the API key in the source code. This may be the reason. It occurs on all pages I’ve already updated to the latest WordPress version in German.
In which file may I solve this problem? Before getting “Google Service” in Enfold I’ve used the file /wp-content/themes/enfold/js/shortcode.js.I’ve posted my finding in various posts but never got an answer. Could you help, Victoria?
Best regards,
PetraHi Mike,
I found the problem …. the API key is loaded with blank spaces:
avia_framework_globals.gmap_api = ‘ AIzaSyAwMFkkQ1ZIyq4Bd0ab7CFy6aUxdDSDIho’;
It would be glad to know which file I could edit to solve the problem. Would you please help Marijke82 and me?Many thanks,
PetraHi zizibe1,
LG PetraMay 27, 2018 at 4:27 pm in reply to: Google Maps API key is not valid (after update Enfold 4.4) #962799Hi,
I have the same problems and I’ve been struggeling with this issue on serveral websites for hours. I’ve posted this problem attached to another post.
@ DeltaSierra360: In one case, I had the mailchimp message too. But half an hour later, the map suddenly worked and still does. Maybe you will be lucky too!Dear Enfold-Team,
we really need your help! -
