How it works today is irrelevant. We know how it works today. The issue is that my visitors today have already send me an email letting me know that the links on tab section links are NOT working because they do not see the content below the page changing.
If it appears to my visitors that the links on Tab Section are broken than I cannot use this element on the page. Scrolling the tab section to the top of the page (if icons are located at the top and scrolling to the bottom of the page if they are located on the bottom of the section) would be a simple fix that make the design of tab section more robust.
This is a serious design flaw in the what is otherwise a superbly designed element and should be addressed to make the element more robust….and until you do that, I am asking is there a work around?
FYI: Eric is right about how this element works even with the script. It does not scroll to the top of the page. So this is NOT an effective work around.

@Ismael – This is a problem with 2017 Enfold Demo as well.
If you click on this URL: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/#mailchimp-newsletter one would expect the page to show you the tab section with Mailchimp integration, but instead it show you the top of the page. So the visitor would have no clue where the Mailchimp integration was located. He will have to scroll and find it himself…or he will assume that it is a bad link.

@Ismael This is the issue. When someone visits my page he sees this:
View #1: Default Home Page ViewThe tab section is located at the bottom of the page. When the visitor clicks on any of the tab section the page position does not change and it appears as if the tab section links are not working. What I would like to do is the visitor clicked on the blue tab section marked Infocus Newsletter the page should scroll up and present him with this view:
View #2: Tab Section at the TopAlternatively if someone visits this page with the URL: https://visualwilderness.com/#infocus-newsletter the page should present him with the view #2 as well. Does this make sense?

It is on the same page as the tabbed section…Now I see why it is not working.
Is there a way so that when I click on ANY tab in the tab section, the tab section can scroll to the top of the page? This would make the tab section enormously valuable. This will be ideal for our page: https://visualwilderness.comThanks.
-JayI have the similar issue. When I click on the links on the tabbed section on this page: https://visualwilderness.com
the browser does not scroll to the tabbed section. So to a user it appears that the links are not working at all.The same behavior is present when someone tries to navigate to the tabbed section directly using a URL like this: https://visualwilderness.com/#browse-our-ebooks
@ismael,
I tried your script, but this did not fix the issue. Let me know if you want me to try out something different.Thanks.

Thanks for the update…I hope you guys figure this out. The Tabbed Section is a superb addition and provides fantastic way to organize the photos. I will redo the mods for now.
Thanks.

I just update my theme to 4.1.2. Is this fix included in this release?Because I see that the the “Load More” behavior on the Chrome Desktop Browser (Win10) is very inconsistent after the upgrade.

Thanks for the response. Hope you will make this fix available to general release soon.
August 3, 2017 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Tab Section: Pagination & Load More Not Working Correctly #834028Here is my report…It is consistent with Guenni007.
First the good news: Load More on the first tab appears to be fixed.
Now things that do not work and thing that were working seem broken
- Pagination on the second tab is still borken
- I am also not seeing the unique URL that defined each tab. So the URL for the middle tab should be https://visualwilderness.com/dfgs434534fdf#pagination. However it is NO longer the case. This URL takes you the first tab.
I have left your fix in place. You can see this on my website at: https://visualwilderness.com/dfgs434534fdf

July 25, 2017 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Each tab contains its posts and make pagination for each it is not possible :(. #829613This is a bug in the Tabbed Section and should not require a custom coding. It needs a fix from Team Enflod IMHO.
It is perfectly acceptable to include a Masonry Element in the Tabbed section with either “Pagination” enabled or using “Load More” Button. Neither of them work properly under Tabbed Section. The fix should be relatively simple to put in place.
There are two issues that occur. Here is a demo page that show the issues: https://visualwilderness.com/dfgs434534fdf
Issue 1: Page Height does not change when you hit Load More Button if the Tabbed Section is configured as “Auto Adjust to Content”. You can try this out on the page under “Load More” tab in Chrome Desktop Browser.
Issue 2: Pagination does not work on Masonry Element if the element is NOT on the first tab. You an try it out on the tab marked “Pagination”. This issue is that after fetching the correct page for the masonry element the page defaults to the first tab…instead of displaying the tab that triggered page fetch. If you guys have a function.php fix, I would be happy to try this out on my site and report back.

Any progress on this issue?
Sure the work around suggested are doable, but with a default value in the hidden fields the Mailchimp Integration is little more than a window dressing on a very good theme. The only practical way around this is NOT to use Mailchimp integration. So the question is what is the status of default values be available for hidden fields?
Thanks. So that you can see and fix the problem in the next release. ;)
I have removed all the custom mods about the videos from my site. When you do this you get an down scaling and up scaling issues with the YouTube Embedded videos within TABs. Here are the screen shots:
Downscaling stop being responsive at certain point.
(hosted on WPengine) alt="" />Upscaling puts black bars or sometimes offsets the video. However this only happens to the videos that are on on active tabs.

Here is a CSS workaround that I found that works on a directly embedded mp4 files, but messes up the alignment from sources such as youtube. Without this CSS Modification videos embedded in your new Tab Section using WordPress’s standard Video shortcode are not fully responsive. Perhaps you should look at this an incorporate this into your upcoming changes for the Tabbed sections.

It is a partial work around…The video does not resize correctly when scaling up when Accordion on small screen changes to Tabbed Section. It would appear that there is no resize event being fired when this happens. Here is how to reproduce the issue:
- Scale down the width of the screen.
- Click on Tab 2
- Scale up the width until the Accordion changes to Tab Layout.
- Go to Tab 1 and you will notice that the video is not aligned properly (scale is correct, but it fails to align to the top).
I hope you guys can provide a fix for me either via CSS or function.php modification.

Hello Ismael,
I found a partial solution. I put in the following code in my css file and changed the default the wp-video class (defined by wordpress to be 640px) to 100%. Seem to solve the issue while scaling down…but not when scaling up.
/** Default Video Size **/
.wp-video {width: 100% !important;}You guys may still want to look at why this does not work the same way in Tabbed Section as it does in the regular tabs. There may be some conflict there.

Hi Ismael,
No this is from WordPress. There are three way you can insert a video in WordPress. One is directly putting a video link (via WordPress’s Oembed technology, next you can use the shortcode [embed][/embed] and the third one is using shortcode. The [embed] shortcode works, however the shortcode does not. tag was introduce in version 3.6 of WordPress and allows you to set the poster frame and other parameters.
Here is a link: https://codex.wordpress.org/Video_Shortcode
FYI: If you move the tabbed container outside the tab section it works just fine. Here is an example: https://visualwilderne.staging.wpengine.com/

Hello,
Using a shortcode in a text section. I will find an alternative solution for the Tabbed section and Layer Sliders.
What about the video scaling issue in the second Tab?
-JayHello Ismael,
Sorry about that. You can check both the issue here: http://visualwilderne.staging.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine)Top Tabbed Layer Section (Grey) has the layer slider issue. The second Tabbed Layer Section (black) shows the video resealing issue.
To reproduce the issue all you have to do is resize the window.
I am assuming that you are monitoring this thread and will respond to my original request.
Here is another issue with layer slider: Videos embedded into Tabbed Section within the layer slider do not re-scale properly. While you are fixing the layout here is some other feedback:
Update Cart Button does not work. It is marked as disabled. – Based on the other thread I am assuming that you are aware of this.
Little “X” button also does not work very well. When you click to remove an item, the cart page does not refresh correctly.Hope to hear from you soon on these issues.
2) Yes, you can link to the fullsize image by adding this code to your child theme functions.php file:
This is a basic feature that has long been missing from Enfold theme. Even WordPress standard gallery allows you to pick the size to display in the lightbox. Enfold’s gallery should have no problems allowing users to customize the size of images to be displayed in the light box without changing the maximum size in media settings.
Very nicely designed theme. Here is what we use it for.
http://visualwilderness.com/I have seen other theme have both functionality available at the same time by default. I fail to see the reason why Enfold does not allow you to do this?
Peter,
Works great! Thanks.
See my update:
Update: You can recreate this issue when you create a Private Forum using BBPress. If all your forums are public everything works fine, but once you create a private forum the Blog Grid and Blog Masonry Layouts stop functioning for entire site for visitors. Registered users will not see any issues. The only way to restore this issue that I know of is to restore the BBPress or to make the forum all public again.

I have the similar issue…but will both masonry and grid content for blog (other format seems to work).
When I unable the BBPress Forum plugin none of the enfold short code blog elements are displayed for visitors, but they work fine for registered users. Here is an example: http://visualwilderness.com/
On this page there needs to be portfolio grid…and it is not there. When I deactivate the BBPress the Grid comes back.
