Ok… as I can not upgrade this site because it’s a production site, I give you acces to a new one,
It’s a Worpress 4.4 – Enfold 3.4.7 – no cache plugin – and just WPML installed, that’all.
Just wait one or two seconds and you will see the slider trying to start himself.

If you read my message I said : The cache plugin has been disable So WP Rocket is not compressing anything.
Did you go and logged into the site I gave you access?And Then deactivate this and all other plugins is just not possible, as I said, it’s a multisite site with 10 oters websites online: imagine if I disable all the plugins…

I’m facing the same problem as you and I’m tired to tell my customers to empty the browser cache.
So, you are using a child theme, but if I understand what you’ve done :
– your child style.css is empty (I mean no css, but just the include to the enfold original style.css)
– you create a new file called custom.css in the child directory and put all your css in it ?

But Layerslider is not smart on smartphone, I suggest you to build special layerslider for mobile and special layerslider for desktop, and u just have to hide them with a single CSS switch :)Hello Elliot
I can’t change anything and WP Rocket is the best cache plugin at this time. More over, we have 15 sites on an wordpress multisite working great with WP Rocket, except 4 of those sites; they are using Enfold…Hello Rikard,
I’m afraid not. It”s not a single simple WordPress website, it is a part of a multisite environnement with more than 12 websites inside.
Our WordPress backoffice is never give to anybody…This issue appear in the Posts list page: /wp-admin/edit.php
I suggest you to install this very good plugin: Query monitor at https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ on your own Enfold site, the go to /wp-admin/edit.php and you should see the plugin alerting you with a red background :
You just have to click on: Scripts & Styles and this plugin will show you Enfold issues.

It seems that some js files are called from template-builder.class.php but they do not exist in the last enfold version…
I have a previous version that contains the missing files : avia-modal.js, avia-tab-toggle.js and avia-elements.js

I’m not from the Enfold support team but it’a quite easy, just add this snippet into the functions.php of yout child theme :
add_theme_support( 'deactivate_layerslider' );
It will remove LayerSlider from you WordPress backoffice.Well… I’ll try but modify Enfold core files is not a good thing as any fix will be erased by any update.
If it is a real probleme it might be good to include it in a next release, don’t you think?

Thank you for the quick fix.
Bus as I am usin an H1 Tag just on top of this arrow I must do that:
.home .av-special-heading-h1 {top: 15% !important; position: absolute !important;}
otherwise the arrow goes into the H1I have a lot of site with this issue and don’t you think it’s a little bug about how Enfold is calculating the viewport when using full height elements?

Or, do not let people play with CSS, but just add this as an option in Enfold backoffice panel, juste a simple checkbox will let the webmaster the choice to use it or not.
