I would like it to look like on the front page – slimmer. But it’s different on all other pages.
    I don’t get it why!

in reply to: flyout menu coloring #1101898

    Update:
    1. Is there a way to make my submenu items colored when clicked in my flyout menu AND in my fullwidth submenu. So let’s say I click on a submenu item under SPORTLER and the page loads, so this submenu item is highlighted in a different color so the user know where he’s at?
    2. If I don’t show ALL submenu items right away in my flyout menu, is there a way to make the first item SPORTLER also linkable, or is the only option to make a clone? It just looks to weird if there is the same word showing again in as a submenu item!
    THANKS SO MUCH.

Thanks so much for 1. – that all works out fine now!
About 2.: I’m sorry, I didn’t quite get what the following actually means: You can wrap that around the do_shortcode function and echo it out in the archive.php file or template.
Wrap it around a do_shortcode? echo it out in archive.php? Sorry, it’s not even because I’m not a native speaker, but because I don’t understand those terms…
Can you maybe tell me WHERE in the reference page I can take a look – this looks all weird to me… I’m really sorry for the inconvenience!!!!!

in reply to: Add slogan next to Logo #1101789

Weird: I have the font for the header in the header widget set to:
    <h1 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”font-size: 30pt;”>urban healthy conscious</span></h1>
But this only applies to the startpage – not to the other pages. How can I set it to appear like that on ALL headers, not only on the startpage.
On the other pages the font appears fat and doesn’t show h1 font.
    thanks Nora

in reply to: Submenu not sticky #1101676

Please, this is really urgent!!! I need the menu to be sticky. It doesn’t make any sense for it not to be!!!!

in reply to: Submenu not sticky #1101340

I set TRUE instead of FALSHE after fixed = , but that didn’t change anything…

in reply to: Troubles with BLOG #1101323

    Thanks, however
    1. didn’t solve the problem.
When I click on BLOG and scroll down I have an entry called TIPPS ZUR RAUCHERENTWÖHNUNG, without an image.
The frame for the empty image is still showing, it’s just a bit smaller, and if you click on this one particular blog entry, the empty image is shown on the very top left side as well.
    2. Could you be so kind and tell me how to modify the archives.php file to add the fullwidth submenu to individual blog entries, or to the page that shows the summary of all entries in one category?

    THANKS Nora

in reply to: Submenu not sticky #1101316

OK, so how do I have to change to script so this doesn’t keep happening?
Please be so kind and let me know!

AND SORRY – most importantly. I have those submenu items in my burger menu eg. SPORTLER – is there a way to make SPORTLER also linkable, or is the only option to make a clone? It just looks to weird if there is the same word showing again in the submenu!
    THANKS Nora

in reply to: flyout menu coloring #1101093

    Thanks so much!
Can you give me some advice on why my fullwidth submenu is not sticky, although I set it to sticky? I already updated the theme to the latest version, but this didn’t help.
It’s the menu on top that show SHIATSU, OSTEOPAHTIE etc. – it should stick to the top as soon as you scroll down.

    THANKS Nora

Sorry – emptied the cache and now I see the changes.
However, one question: Should I add such codes rather to the style.css sheet of my child theme under THEME_EDITOR, or in the general styling quick css code. Is all the code in the quick css code overwritten if there is an automatic update?

And do you have any advice for this:
AND: I updated the theme to it’s current version, because my the fullwidth submenu isn’t sticky (although I set it to be sticky), but the update didn’t help either. The menu fullwidth submenu is still not sticky although it’s set to sticky.

    THANKS nora

    Hello,
    Thanks for the encouragement.
However, this code didn’t change anything.
I tried adding it to the style.css sheet of my child theme, and/or to the quick css file. But nothing changed.
The header font is still not responsive.
And my fullwidth submenu is still not sticky :-(
    Thanks Nora

    Hello,
Thanks for the info – however, I added it to the child theme style.css but it didn’t have any effects on my project. No other color is showing. I cleared my cache, but no color is showing…
Also: How could you also be so kind and let me know how to change the FONT COLOR of the submenu items, not only the background color?
    THANKS Nora

The problem is, that I HAVE opened several more threads but I’m waiting for days now for answers. I understand that you guys are busy, but everything stands still for me as well during that time…

Update: So I did whatever was needed but now I need to get the header widget to be centered in the middle from top to bottom of the header area – AND of course it needs to be responsive, so as soon as the header shrinks, the font must shrink too.
I added this code to the header widget:
    <h1 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”font-size: 44pt;”>urban healthy conscious</span></h1>
And added this code to quick CSS:
    #top #header #header_main .widget{
    width: 100%;
    line-height: 35px;
    color:#6786a1;
    }
So maybe there is another way to make it centered from top to bottom instead of using the line-height? But this still doesn’t resolve the problem that the font doesn’t shrink as soon as I start scrolling.

AND: I updated the theme to it’s current version, because my the fullwidth submenu isn’t sticky (although I set it to be sticky), but the update didn’t help either. The menu fullwidth submenu is still not sticky although it’s set to sticky.
    PLEASE HELP!
    thanks nora

in reply to: Add slogan next to Logo #1100428

So I added the child theme – kept the parent theme active though.
Added the code to the function.php in the editor (for the child theme), added a header widget, added an image in the widget, but nothing appears.
Alternatively I also tried to add text to the header widget, but this didn’t appear either.
AND: I updated the theme to it’s current version, because my the fullwidth submenu isn’t sticky (although I set it to be sticky), but the update didn’t help either. The menu fullwidth submenu is still not sticky although it’s set to sticky.
    PLEASE HELP!
    thanks nora

So in order to get the header Image to work responsively I installed the child theme – but now I need to REDO the entire setup? I’m almost finished with my project, and now have to redo everything? There needs to be a better solution – import export the theme settings or whatever?

in reply to: Submenu not sticky #1100173

Yes, it does persist. I made the update and the fullwidth submenu is still not sticky!

Can you please give me some advice about my BLOG:
    1. If I don’t have a picture added to a Blog entry, is there a way NOT to show the preview image? When I click on BLOG and scroll down I have an entry called TIPPS ZUR RAUCHERENTWÖHNUNG, without an image. I don’t want the empty preview image to be shown, but NO IMAGE at all.
As soon as I click on the entry, the empty preview image also shows there…
    2. I have a fullwidth submenu showing on each page. How can I add this also to individual blog entries, or to the page that shows the summary of all entries in one category (such as REZEPTE).
    3. When I click on a CATEGORY such as REZEPTE, I don’t want the author to be shown.
    Thanks Nora

I would just like to have the submenu items (as soon as you click eg. on SPORTLER, a drop down menu opens and you can see the submenu items) to have the font color #71a4de, and the background color #ffffff.
    Thanks so much!

in reply to: Add slogan next to Logo #1100016

I really don’t know how to solve this problem. I just want my header image to be responsive and not to disappear as soon as I start scrolling! Please let me know how to do that.

in reply to: Add slogan next to Logo #1100015

So what do I need to do? Should I install the child theme and get rid of my current theme? But then all that is done is gone as well? How can I add the child theme, and where do I need to add what code????????

in reply to: flyout menu coloring #1099628

I have not – I only did it in extended styling. Do you have any advice?
    Thanks NOra

in reply to: Add slogan next to Logo #1099235

I should add this to the function.php of the child theme? But I don’t use the child theme? Where do I need to add what?
    SORRY but I’m confused!

in reply to: Add slogan next to Logo #1099234

I’m confused. What is there to do to get the header image responsive?
    thanks Nora

in reply to: Add slogan next to Logo #1098542

I’ve tried it with a background image for the header, but as soon as I start scrolling and the header gets smaller the image doesn’t correspond accordingly – it’s not responsive!
If it’s responsive, I would like to show it on tablets, if not then not!
Also, how can I avoid showing the background image on mobile!

in reply to: Rename Submenu on mobile #1098517

    Hello,
You mention to redirect the users to a custom page containing links to other pages.
Do you have any DEMO of how this could look like? I cannot imagine.
    Thanks Nora

in reply to: Rename Submenu on mobile #1095659

What real advantage do I have by using the mega menu option. It’s pretty much just showing the submenu in a mega way, or is there any other advantage to it?
    THANKS Nora

in reply to: Mobile issues #1085303

    COOL, thanks so much.
    Best, Nora

in reply to: Submenu and socket menu #1083004

    Thanks so much.
    1. Would you know how to add this line height on MOBILE also to the top bar – above the header?
    2. The fullwidth submenu on MOBILE is showing the word ‘MENÜ’. Is there a way to change the name to something different?

    THANKS Nora
