Please, there has to be a way to get rid off the weird trembling of the page while scrolling down. This is totally new, I never had this issue before….
January 10, 2021 at 1:18 pm in reply to: Submenu disappears on scroll down – alhtough set to sticky #12713461. I checked it on 4 different browsers and on different computers and the menu NEVER STAYS STICKY ON TOP ON SCROLL DOWN. Nowhere. I understand that on mobile it’s the case, but in the desktop version it always worked fine, on scroll down the menu stayed on top, but now it’s not like that anymore. So there must have happened something because of an update.
2. Also, all of a sudden on scroll down the page is not scrolling smoothly. What could be the reason for that???I updated the enfold parent theme, but am using enfold-child for this page. Do I need to update enfold-child as well?
Thanks NoraJanuary 9, 2021 at 11:17 am in reply to: Submenu disappears on scroll down – alhtough set to sticky #1271206Hi,
Yes you are allowed. However, the problem is showing now in the old and the new version. So that’s weird.
I only updated the parent theme. The child theme is active, on scroll down it’s acting weird and the submenu still isn’t sticky.
Thanks so much for your help.January 8, 2021 at 1:22 pm in reply to: Submenu disappears on scroll down – alhtough set to sticky #1271041I just tried a theme update to resolve the submenu issue and all of a sudden the entire site is not scrolling smoothly anymore. it’s kind of jerking (if that’s the right word) as soon as I start scrolling down. The submenu problem hasn’t been resolved either…
So I changed back the older ENFOLD version but this problem remains.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Fixed it with a theme update. Thanks!
any progress on this problem? I tried to add enfold instargram in my widget area but it’s not working.
Thanks NoraThanks, that worked just fine.
Best, Noraoh thanks, you’re the best!
So my script should look like this… Sorry, I’m really not sure. Please see below
I just read the article you attached but that’s exactly what I did.
I tried to add the Facebook Pixel Code to the functions.php in my child theme, but it doesn’t take it. I get an error message that < is not allowed.
So why is this happening? I would really appreciate your help.
THANKS NoraThanks, I will look into that.
It’s so weird, I have a submenu on my page that should behave sticky upon scrolling – but ever since I updated to WP5.1 it’s not sticky anymore. Although in the backend it is set to sticky.
There are several issues that occured with the update, but I could figure out all other ones. This one still remains.
Thanks NoraThanks Victoria, that worked really well!
Best, NoraHm, thanks for the advice. I added it but this didn’t change anything. The rectangle is still showing next to my button PRAKTIKA.
Thanks Nora? I just checked it on a different computer and it’s working fine. What error message are you getting? Here it is again.
Thanks NoraNo, I would like to get rid off the two weird rectangles that appear right next to the text.
I attached an image.
Thanks NoraSorry, I thought the information stays in the private content section.
Here you go – it’s on the startpage.I could resolve several things myself, but what remains is that there are 2 grey rectangles in the slider, one next to the second text, on next to my buttons.
Is there a way to get rid of this?
THANKS NoraI added the code to my startpage slider now, but not only do the buttons show
– each in an extra row, they should appear all next to each other in one line
– the link doens’t work, which is weird
– and there is a small grey rectangle next to my lower text in the slider
thanks so much. NoraProblem is, it looks so bad that I would have to coordinate with you when you can set the positioning, or maybe you can tell me where you add what code for it and I can do it myself?
THANKS NoraThanks. I tried the version above, but that shows the buttons not next to each other but below each other. Is there a way to make them appear next to each other. I tried left, center and right for the position, but they still appear below each other, however in the corresponding position.
The other option mentioned was: |You can switch to the default editor and then use the magic wand icon to insert a button”
If I switch to the default editor, there is no content showing. Moreover, what is the magic wand icon???
THANKS NoraPlease be so kind and try the login again. It’s working just fine.
I understand the process of adding a header widget – but how can I add a BUTTON to the widget?
Thanks NoraThanks Victoria, but when I add a masonry with my blog entries, the Sidebar doesn’t show to the right anymore, but BELOW.
That’s weird. But on the link you sent me you show this masonry, and to the right the Sidebar. Why does it do that on my blog page???
THANKS NoraThanks – figured it out myself.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks that helped.
On the same page I have another problem with the second logo in my header. I created a header widget, but it shows all the way to the right. It needs to be aligned correctly, it should reduce on scroll down and disappear completely on mobile.
Would you know how to solve this?
THANKS NoraThanks, that’s great.
Do you also have any solution to the RSS Feed. Is there a way to have all my blog entries show an RSS FEED?Thanks – that brought the second logo to the right side – but I need it to be aligned correclty. The right logo needs to move in to the left so it is placed above the SEARCH sign in the header.
Also, on scroll down it would need to reduce it’s size and stay on the top level, just like the left logo.
… and, it would be great if the second logo could just disappear on mobile! Would you know the code for that?
I attached a picture…
THANKS NoraThanks – that brought the second logo to the right side – but I need it to be aligned correclty. In that case it should finish above the search option in the menu – and on scroll down it would need to reduce it’s size and stay on the top level, just like the left logo.
