Thanks, that worked fine.
You can close the thread.
Best, NoraInteresting – but how would it look like if I had 6 team members and all of them have a different hover image?
Thanks NoraI cannot really find the problem. However, would you know how to set a link in the TOP MENU to open in a new window?
Thanks so much. NoraThanks – I did just that, checked to box for active state. But it’s not showing!
Thanks NoraI could resolve the issue myself.
Thanks NoraHello,
I just created a new blog entry and all of a sudden users can comment. I don’t want that. All my older entries don’t give users the option to comment either, so I don’t understand, why all of a sudden a new entry gives you the option. There is no button to make a change for Comments to Do not allow. Where should this appear? I don’t see it anywhere in my single blog entry either…
THanks NoraSorry, there you go.
THANKS noraNo, apparently it never did, but I only found out today :-(
Thanks NoraHello,
Victoria was so kind to add the Facebook Pixel Code to the functions.php of my page, but apparently it’s not corresponding. It doesn’t show any results. Is there anything else I need to add in order to make it work?
THANKS NoraMay 4, 2021 at 11:07 am in reply to: Click on Gallery image always shows same image, not the provided link #1298243RESOLVED.
ThanksApril 23, 2021 at 7:50 am in reply to: Language flag icons in menu are not aligned with text #1296226I could fix it again.
However the code didn’t change anything to the menu.
Let’s just keep it the way it is before more weird things keep happening!!!!
ThanksApril 23, 2021 at 7:47 am in reply to: Language flag icons in menu are not aligned with text #1296221OMG, now the whole layout of the page has changed!
Did you do any update or something?
All the fonts have changed too!When you look down to the FOOTER – it’s not wide anymore – it’s framed. And that’s for the rest of the page content. Everything is centered.
What exactly did you change????April 22, 2021 at 5:17 pm in reply to: Language flag icons in menu are not aligned with text #1296117I’m a little confused
1. The menu ID in the EN version is 11472 for the SIDE MENU, but ever since starting this thread I’m talking about the MAIN MENU – BALKENMENU on the page – I sent already 2 screenshots. And there the flag menu item is 11470.2. No, the Setting > Reading panel was the correct HOME page. It was not the EN verison – I checked that. After redoing everything, it all worked fine yesterday.
NOW it’s set to English again, after you changed it back.I think the thread wouldn’t be that long if there were not so much confusion.
April 21, 2021 at 11:23 am in reply to: Language flag icons in menu are not aligned with text #12957691. yes, the menu ID is correct and the same for EN and DE.
But this code only affects the EN Version – in the DE version the flag is still to much up.
}
#menu-item-11470-en,
#menu-item-11470-de{
top:8px!important;
}
See screenshot in private message!2.: The settings ARE CORRECT, still each browser shows the EN version by default, and not the GERMAN VERSION.
PLEASE HELP!3. AND a new problem: Only in FIREFOX I cannot switch to the german version of the startpage. It’s getting weirder by the minute…

April 19, 2021 at 7:55 am in reply to: Language flag icons in menu are not aligned with text #12951341. where can I see the ID of the menu item in the DE version?
2. yes I did, but still get the EN version first.
Thanks NoraOh, and now it’s getting really weird – in SAFARI the German version is good but the english version shows the flags to far DOWN!
In Firefox and Google Chrome it’s the other way round – there the English version is fine, but the German Version shows the flags to far UP!!Also, would you know WHERE to add the facebook pixel code when using ENFOLD CHILD?
THANKS noraYes, because you only viewed the ENGLISH version – but when you switch to the German version you will see that the flags are still going up.
For some reason – in Firefox – the german flag doesn’t point to the german version. But only in Firefox… very odd.
I attached an image.
Thanks NoraSorry, there is one more thing to this problem – I just realized that in EN the flags in the menu are correctly aligned now, but not in GERMAN.
However, I added the code for DE as well:
#menu-item-11470-en,
#menu-item-11470-de{
top:8px!important;
}Would you know why that is?
THANKS NoraThanks so much!
Hm, my flags are not aligned perfectly next to the menu items, they appear a little further up.
I tried to add this from the file you sent me, but with no success:
.lang-item {
display: inline;
}Sorry, could resolve this issue myself as well.
However: On the very bottom in my socket I have the IMPRINT and PRIVACY POLICY in German. I need to translate the entire page in English, but this is the only part that I don’t know how to translate, as it has to be set in ENFOLD CHILD under FOOTER > COPYRIGHT. Is there a way to make it show in EN?
THANKS NoraCorrection: Could solve point 2 myself.
However, point 1: My submenu, which normally should show only below the first image on each page, all of a sudden shows in the small text line on the very top of any page next to the social media icons – on the very top. How is this possible. You should only see this menu below the header.
Thanks NoraAh, you’re the best, problem solved.
Thanks so much! NoraThere is one problem remaining:
4. On mobile: On the startpage there is a huge white empty gap below the first blue section. I don’t know where this is coming from and how to delete it. Maybe it’s sliver revolution that causes this? It’s really weird, because I don’t see it in the backend. And it only appears on mobile.
Thanks NoraThanks so much. This plugin solved the problem!
Best, NoraJanuary 12, 2021 at 12:14 pm in reply to: Submenu disappears on scroll down – alhtough set to sticky #1271853Hm, I installed it but it didn’t really help.
BUT: I found out, that this scrolling problem ONLY appears on pages where there is a background image set to PARALLAX. No matter if it’s just one image, that’s enough to make the entire subpage weird on scroll down.
It’s so weird that this problem didn’t occur before. Unfortunately I have this setting a lot.Is there any plugin that might help with Parallax Images?
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!
Best, NoraJanuary 11, 2021 at 11:39 am in reply to: Submenu disappears on scroll down – alhtough set to sticky #12715511. AH, I understand now: I set the MAIN MENU to BURGER, that’s the conflict then, right? Because I have 2 menus, is there a way to set only the main menu to burger and still have the submenu stay sticky on top?
2. I see it on a mac and a pc in chrome, firefox and safari. It wasn’t there before, it just happened recently. On scroll down it’s not working smoothly, it looks like the images are blocking the page from scrolling down smoothly.
Thanks NoraJanuary 11, 2021 at 11:20 am in reply to: Submenu disappears on scroll down – alhtough set to sticky #1271541hi,
1. That’s what I’m trying to tell you. I have NOT selected the burger menu for desktop. I want the submenu to show in full text in the desktop version – which it does. So maybe I’m getting something wrong here. I havn’t set it to burger. I’m talking about the submenu that shows over the full width of the page.
2. I see it on a mac and a pc in chrome, firefox and safari. It wasn’t there before, it just happened recently. On scroll down it’s not working smoothly, it looks like the images are blocking the page from scrolling down smoothly.
