September 21, 2020 at 3:22 am in reply to: advanced editor not working after wordpress upgrade #1247215
Hi kvb,
What you’re seeing is most likely incompatibility issues between Enfold 4.6.2 which you are currently using and the latest version of WordPress.
When WordPress release a major version there are things they deprecate and introduce some new functions to use, this is mostly for improvement but it breaks older themes and plugins that’s why themes and plugins must be updated too because we include a fix for it.
The thing you need to do to fix it is to upgrade to the latest version of Enfold 4.7.6.3 which contains patches for WordPress 5.5.
Also don’t forget to have a backup first :)Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 21, 2020 at 3:14 am in reply to: Error message: There has been a critical error on your website. #1247213Hi envato99,
Can you try to install this plugin: https://envato.com/market-plugin/ and see if it helps with updating.
If that’s not working then please do this method:
- Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme.
- Right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
- It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
- Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip)
- Log in to WordPress as Admin and put the site in maintenance mode.
- Go to Appearance > Themes.
- Switch to a default WordPress Theme like TwentyTwenty and delete Enfold theme.
- Click on the ADD NEW button.
- Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
- Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
- Click the INSTALL NOW button
Best regards,

NikkoSeptember 19, 2020 at 2:00 am in reply to: Avia Builder Not Working (Advanced Layout Editor) #1246952Hi Courtney,
Just a tip, create a staging site where you test the updates first and check before doing it on a live site.
Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
NikkoHi rachelryerson,
Did you install the plugin I mentioned?
If the plugin is not installed then you can do this instead:
1. Switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty
2. Delete Enfold
3. Upload enfold.zipBest regards,
NikkoHi Miki,
You’re welcome :)
I have added this code in your child theme’s functions.php:function enfold_title_args( $args, $id ) { $args['title'] = 'Blog'; return $args; } add_filter( 'avf_title_args', 'enfold_title_args', 10, 2 );Best regards,

NikkoSeptember 18, 2020 at 12:49 pm in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1246793Hi Marcel,
Thanks for giving us admin access as well as the video.
I have checked it and experienced the same slow response time.
I checked Media in the dashboard and it seems some images (most likely new ones) are empty, however, there’s nothing in the updating of theme that should remove any images as it’s only replacing the enfold folder.
I checked it further but experienced the database was down, maybe it was overloaded or needs some repair.
Here’s an article that may help: https://www.thoughtco.com/repairing-mysql-database-with-phpmyadmin-2693966

NikkoHi vanherel,
You’re welcome :)
We’re glad that we could help.
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great weekend!Best regards,
NikkoHi Miki,
Thanks for pointing it out. It is changed to h1 tag because of this article: https://yoast.com/how-to-use-headings-on-your-site/
However, since the h1 in Advanced Styling is set, it overrides the default style.
I added this CSS code to fix it.#top #wrap_all .all_colors h1.main-title.entry-title { font-size: 16px; }As for the word itself, would you prefer to use Blog or the title?
Best regards,
NikkoHi vanherel,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
avia_option_pages.js was empty, I just added the content of that js file and it worked properly.
I have removed the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin as it’s unnecessary anymore.Best regards,

NikkoHi Sachs,
So where should the latest Enfold version be downloaded from?
The latest version can be downloaded in ThemeForest using the account used to purchase it.Just forgot the 2 Factor Authentication, so I should deactivate this , right?
Yes, please deactivate the 2 factor authentication, you can do this by just moving the plugin (not sure of the folder name) outside the plugins folder via cPanel. The issue with login is this related to the problem with the layer slider?
Should I first reset to login problem via cPanel?
If you can’t login or forgot it then you can change it in the database.
Please follow the 3rd step in this article: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/change-wordpress-password/Best regards,

NikkoSeptember 18, 2020 at 11:35 am in reply to: icons / images disappeared from the ALB editor after updating to 4.7.6.3 #1246742Hi oholm,
That could be a possibility or it’s during the update that some issues arise.
Can you tell us how you update the theme last time? maybe we can have an educated guess as to the possible cause.Best regards,
NikkoHi vanherel,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
NikkoHey Miki,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
The reason why it’s not showing is because you’re using Advanced Layout Builder on that post, the workaround it is to manually add the Excerpt.
If you can’t find this field you’ll need to click on Screen Options (upper right) which shows some options to hide/show, check Excerpt and manually add a summary/content into it.
Hope it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHey Jonas,
It’s possible however the tweak however it will take some time to do which is outside the scope of our support
Also it’s not scalable since you’ll need to change the left margin every time you add a menu item.
To add, the hr tag I would suggest using javascript to inject it.
Then override the CSS properties of menu based on the codepen example.Best regards,
NikkoHi Hugo_R,
Please go to Enfold > Import/Export > Iconfont Manager, then click on Upload/Select Fontello Font Zip button then upload the font in private content.

NikkoSeptember 18, 2020 at 10:54 am in reply to: Enfold theme options not working, Avia not working #1246729Hey dynamicdesignsnw,
I tried the credentials you gave however it doesn’t work, please check.
Can you try to clear the browser cache? or try a different browser or use incognito mode in Chrome?Best regards,
NikkoHi William Parry,
Thanks for contacting us!
Unfortunately, you’ll need to contact the person who has the Themeforest/Envato account used to purchase Enfold.
If you have the purchase code and other details then please do contact Envato support for that.
Otherwise, you’ll need to purchase Enfold in order to get the latest version and download from Themeforest/Envato.Best regards,
NikkoHi vanherel,
Please try to clear the browser cache, the old js files are just fetched that’s causing the issue.
Best regards,
NikkoHey ryandxd,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked your site and noticed that those that are not loading is getting a 403 error (security issue).
This is most likely due to mod_security as many of the same cases reported, can you try to disable it?Best regards,
NikkoHey MartinA78,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I tried adding some dots in the text block inside the 3/4 column, it worked properly (I have removed it afterwards).
Can you give us some instructions regarding it? since we don’t want to mess up your page.Best regards,
NikkoHey Jason,
Can you give us a link to both the page and the image? so we can try to formulate some CSS code for it.
Best regards,
NikkoHey sunvalleyskiclub,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
Based on your description I believe you’re server uses built-in internal caching, if you have access to cPanel try to check it out there if there some settings to turn it off temporarily since caching improves performance and speed of your site but during development when it’s turned on it’s annoying since changes doesn’t take effect immediately.
Sometimes the changes take effect but it’s not consistent. Aside from that I could suggest when using Chrome browser press ctrl + f5 when you refresh since it forces the browser to fetch new styles or scripts since browser also caches these files.Best regards,
