Thanks Vinay. That worked perfectly.
Thanks for the reply Vinay. I wasn’t aware that would bump my request back down.
The code you provided definitely helped. I made a few other adjustments to try and get things lined up a little more and it’s looking pretty good now. I think I may need to move it to a wider breakpoint, as it looks a little off around 875 pixels wide.
One thing I still can’t figure out is what is applying the grey border to the social media icons once you get below 875 pixels. If you happen to know what is causing that, I would like to get rid of it. You can see how the icons should look when you view the website at a larger screen size.
Thanks for the help!
If someone could let me know if this post has at least been seen by support, I would really appreciate it.
Hi, it’s been a couple of days and it would be great if someone could have a look at this.
Hi, just wondering if anyone had a chance to review this. Thanks!
Thanks Yigit. I can see it working now.
Sure. Here you go.
Sorry, it doesn’t seem to be working for me. I get this message…

So if you check the website now the overlay is not displaying correctly again.
Thanks. That worked when I added it to the Quick CSS section, but just not when I added it to the style.css file in my child theme.
Thanks. I tried the code suggested by both of you, but neither seemed to fix it.
Hi Rikard,
It’s harder to see with a white overlay, so I made it blue. For some reason the gap at the bottom isn’t showing now. But you can see where it bleeds out a little too far on the sides.Sure, you can see what I’m referring to if you mouse over the aerial photo under the breadcrumb nav on the page below.
Thanks Vinay! That did the trick.
Thanks Yigit. It looks like that decreased the padding between the links and borders instead of decreasing the height of the borders. I tried modifying it to decrease the top/bottom padding, but it doesn’t seem to change the height of the borders.
That worked great. Thanks Vinay!
Btw… is there a way to decrease the height of the border between the links in the secondary menu?
Sure thing Vinay. Here you go.
Thanks Andy. That did the trick.
The info requested is below and yes, you can disable plugins if needed.
Sure thing. Here’s a screenshot showing the duplicate menu that is showing up:
http://www.nicominteractive.com/temp/HPA-Header.jpg
I placed a green outline around the entire area that is displaying. The duplicate menu is on the left side and is hard to see because of the dark text.
This is what I’m trying to make the header look like:

Thanks Ismael. That helped. However, I still have a gap at the top of the header that I can’t seem to get rid of. Also, whenever I try to add some custom CSS to style the secondary menu, a duplicate of it shows up at the top of the page above the logo. You should be able to see that on the website now. Sorry about the password, that should work now.
Thanks Yigit. That worked great. Just one thing, is there a way to remove the space created by the top bar the secondary menu normally would be positioned in that is directly above the logo and main menu? The CSS you provided moved the secondary menu where I need it, but there is a gap above all three of the elements in the header where the secondary menu and additional contact info would normally be displayed.
I can’t set #header_meta .container to display: none, because the secondary menu is still technically in that div and it also disappears when I do that.
Sure thing, below is the URL. You can see the secondary menu I have now with a border around it. I also included a link to a mock-up showing how we would like to position the secondary menu.

November 23, 2016 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Position Three Containers With One Spanning the Height of the First Two #716150I was able to get the background to span the height of the two stacked containers in the tall one beside it by setting the background in that grid column to stretch to fit.
November 23, 2016 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Position Three Containers With One Spanning the Height of the First Two #715954Sure, the URL is in the private content. The containers I’m referring to are the ones with the “Track Your Cargo”, “Global Connectivity” and “Port Operations Centre” headers. Everything is working pretty good now, except I need to get the “Port Operations Centre” container to span the entire height of the other two combined. Depending on the size of your screen you will get a gap under that container or the “Global Connectivity” container.
November 22, 2016 at 6:29 pm in reply to: Position Three Containers With One Spanning the Height of the First Two #715490I made some progress with this by using a grid row set to have two 1/2 columns. In the left I placed two 1/1 columns (one on top of each other) for the two smaller/stacked containers. In the right I placed a single 1/1 column. That seems to work. Only I need the two on the left to span the entire height of the single container on the right. Right now I have all three set to “Equal Height”. I suspect a setting like that is what I’m looking for, but I haven’t had any luck yet.
November 17, 2016 at 8:17 pm in reply to: Changing or Removing Sidebar Menu Backgound & Borders #713731Hi Basilis, are you able to see the page okay, but just not the background/borders in the menu? I think I was able to address it after making my post. I got rid of the background by removing the Alternate Background color value for menu hover, tables etc. in the theme options and removed the border with the CSS below:
.sidebar .widget_nav_menu ul:first-child > .current-menu-item, .sidebar .widget_nav_menu ul:first-child > .current_page_item, .sidebar .widget_nav_menu ul:first-child > .current-menu-ancestor { box-shadow: none; }
So I think I might be okay.
October 24, 2016 at 1:44 pm in reply to: Background Image Cut Off in Logo/Main Menu Right sidebar #703257Thanks Ismael. That did the trick.
October 20, 2016 at 4:49 pm in reply to: Background Image Cut Off in Logo/Main Menu Right sidebar #701992I ended up removing the CSS you provided. It changed the position of the background image in the body content instead of the background image in the right sidebar where the logo/main menu are displayed. I included login info for you in the private content so you can have a closer look.
I also placed a white border around the area where the background is displaying. You can see the red background color extends all the way to the bottom, but the background image only goes part way.
October 19, 2016 at 3:16 pm in reply to: Background Image Cut Off in Logo/Main Menu Right sidebar #701362I removed it when it didn’t work. It should be added back in now.
October 18, 2016 at 3:56 pm in reply to: Background Image Cut Off in Logo/Main Menu Right sidebar #700711Thanks Yigit. I just tired that, but no luck.
