that fixed the aspect ratio but the logo is a bit smaller than it used to be –
can I increase it but keep it in the same position?

I don’t use the minifying feature – should I?
I think I ran into problems a few months ago with that.

OK here is what I have:

thanks – that got rid of the gray area and the logo is bigger, but seems to be getting cut off (http://imgur.com/DCW3TWM – there is a little “TM” that is getting cut) by some padding around the menu block that didn’t used to be there. I have tried to move the menu to the right more but it doesn’t seem to be moving.

I have already enabled that in my child theme files.

I will tried those css codes but the image align is still off, and for some reason the captions are only correct on the english side of the site and not the danish one, even though I added the same code to both areas in the general styling options. I have cleared my cache – no change.

I would also like to understand why the images are not aligned. They are both tagged to position “left” – what is making that second image drop 5 px?

I need the images to line up side by side – not sure why they are not. Can you help me with that?
Also is it possible for the captions to be at the bottom of the image instead of in the middle?
I just need images with captions, side by side.

Thanks – I checked out Alt-inkl but they are only in german. Do you know of a service like that that is also in english?
The site I am building is for an adventure travel service, not huge but more involved than other sites I have worked on
so I want to make sure the server is fast and there is good space. I am not a programmer, and have not had to look
