Hi Ismael,
Did you manage to log in to my website?
The temporary login link works for me.
Styling Extra is maybe the Dutch translation. It’s the part where you can customize elements in Enfold. And these settings don’t stick.Mark
Edit: yes, I have W3 Total Cache installed- This reply was modified 6 years, 5 months ago by Multispace.
Found the Quick CSS in uploads > dynamic_avia > enfold_child.css of a backup! What a relieve!
The Styling Extra problem still remains though.
Mark
The reset function didn’t help either with the Styling Extra settings. They keep resetting like I wrote before. Hopefully someone can look into this with the temporary login link I posted before.
After the total reset I changed all the Enfold settings back and made an export this time.
But I hope someone can tell me how to retrieve the Quick CSS from a backup. I read something about a database, but don’t understand how to get there.Mark
I pressed the ‘Reset all options’ button at the bottom of the Styling Extra window, thinking it would only reset the options in the Styling Extra window, but it reset everything of the Enfold settings!
Please tell me that there’s a file that I can put back from my backup in order to restore this, including my Quick CSS!
Thanks!
Mark
Re-uploaded a fresh copy of Enfold. Didn’t help.

To add to my previous post:
some Styling Settings suddenly do show up on the website, but not in the Styling Settings.Really weird…

Hello again,
My website is back up, but still the settings in Styling Extra keep resetting. It’s actually worse now as they don’t stick at all, where before the changed settings would remain for a while.
So I can change for example the “strong” parameter to be a black fontcolor and then the next second I check the setting again in Sytling Extra, it’s gone and it’s not reflecting on my website as well.
Below is a temporary login link.
The website is in maintenance mode by the way.Mark
Finally my website is up again. De webhoster told me that the rapid fail protection went into effect and shut down this application pool. He doesn’t know why this happened. Could be a memory leak in the website code that triggered many application pool recycles in a short period of time.
Anyway, even when the website was up, strange things continue to happen. Pages could not be found (internal server error), so the technician went into my WP admin and found that my .htaccess was causing the problems. Although the code is normal in my .htaccess, as I posted earlier, once he deactivated .htaccess, everything worked again.
Including…. the maintenance mode page which was the reason I started this topic in the first place.
So some weird stuff went on with .htaccess, but it seems to be solved now.
Finally!
Thanks for helping out, this topic can be closed.Mark
Hi Victoria,
Unfortunately I can’t login or see my website anymore since Friday evening. Tried everything and will have to wait for my webhoster to help out. Maybe there’s something wrong on the server side, which explains some of the issues I was having.
If things are still acting strange when my site is back up, I’ll send you a temporary login link.
Thanks.
Mark
Thanks, yes, I’ve tried that. Actually deleted the Enfold themes (made a backup) and have twentyfifteen as only theme left, but no change. Also moved all plug-ins: no change. Maybe something to do with the migration of my website. But it did work until yesterday evening. Even restored a backup from a few days ago and still nothing.
Maybe some serversetting that got changed suddenly.
Mark
Thanks Mike,
I don’t know what it is then. Strange that I have the problem on 3 different sites on 3 different servers. My own site has some other weird thing going on. Since yesterday evening I can’t access my website (Service unavailable, 503 error), also not via wp-admin. Tried everything, but no luck. Guess I have to wait for my webhoster to assist me on Monday.
Mark
Very helpful.
Thanks!Mark
By the way, I’m using the plug-in Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode now, which works :-)
Mark
Hi Victoria, the staging website has been transferred to the live website now, that’s why you got a 404.
See below for contents of .htaccess file.Mark
Victoria, I’ve updated the website that you’ve looked into to php7 as well and still the redirect problem remains.
Mark
Hi Victoria,
The other 2 sites have at least php7 installed on their servers and the maintenance mode doesn’t redirect properly there as well.

Found it:
[av_privacy_google_tracking]YOUR OWN TEXT[/av_privacy_google_tracking]Mark
I’ve tried the maintenance feature on a third Enfold website on again another server and also the same redirect problem. Is there anyone who got this working?
For now I will have to check another maintenance plug-in.
Mark
I used the e-mail address (Email address hidden if logged out) as I was told to use that before. The login link is in the private content.
I’ve turned on maintenance mode and set some random page as a destination for it. You will notice the error after a while when loading a page on the website (“too many redirects”).I have the same problem on a different server.
Mark
But how do you change the text of the labels of the various privacy options like [av_privacy_google_tracking]?
Mark
The domainname is not transferred yet to the current site, so I can see it only locally. But I found that an older version of the website on another server has the same problem, so I can give you access to that website. I’ve enabled Temporary Logins. Which e-mail address can I insert there from you?

May 21, 2018 at 3:48 pm in reply to: How to set Custom tab and toggle ID’s for Accordion via shortcode? #959820And I solved that as well:
put <span class=”extra-content”> text </span> in the title field after the main tab title text.Topic can now really be closed.

May 21, 2018 at 2:43 pm in reply to: How to set Custom tab and toggle ID’s for Accordion via shortcode? #959790One more thing…
How do you set the extra content in tab title if you use the accordion element and not the shortcode?I mean the second line in the tab title of accordion style-2:

May 21, 2018 at 2:25 pm in reply to: How to set Custom tab and toggle ID’s for Accordion via shortcode? #959785I just now found out that you don’t need to use shortcode in order to use the CSS class ‘accordion style-2’, but you can just fill it in in the CSS class field in the accordion element. D’oh! I was messing around with a lot of shortcode.
Topic can be closed :-)

Awesome update!
But I also have a question regarding cache plug-ins and the new performance options.
Do the new CSS and Javascript file merging and compression options interfere with those same options offered by caching plug-ins (minify, etc.)? Should you have either turned these options on in Enfold or the caching plug-in?Mark
April 2, 2018 at 7:06 pm in reply to: Logo/header container pops up at screen widths below 990px #936165Thanks Yigit, that works!
I only added (min-width: 768px) to that, as I do want the black header container when viewed on mobile, which triggers a different layerslider. Thanks again!

April 2, 2018 at 12:31 pm in reply to: Logo/header container pops up at screen widths below 990px #936029Unfortunately, it didn’t :-(
Also tried it with first clearing all of my CSS, but that didn’t help either.Mark
April 2, 2018 at 11:21 am in reply to: Logo/header container pops up at screen widths below 990px #936002Hi Nikko,
Thanks.
Link is added below.
Basically I want the mobile break point to be at 767 px instead of 990 px, which is what causes the headercontainer to appear I guess. I tried several CSS codes that I found on this forum, but I couldn’t get it to work. Maybe because of the combination with my current CSS in Quick CSS.Mark
April 1, 2018 at 3:58 pm in reply to: Logo/header container pops up at screen widths below 990px #935785The headercontainer is gone if I uncheck ‘Responsive Site’ in Enfold settings, but then the page is not responsive ofcourse…
Any suggestions?
Mark
April 1, 2018 at 2:16 pm in reply to: Logo/header container pops up at screen widths below 990px #935765This is the only CSS I have added in Quick CSS:
/* Homepage - logo only when scrolling and on mobile*/ @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) { .home #header #header_main .logo a img{ display:none!important; }} .home #header.header-scrolled-full #header_main .logo a img{ display:block!important; }
