I have fixed the issue which was plugin related.
The plugin is named EventON and it also requires a Google Maps API which wasn’t validated.
I validated the same API in both the theme and the plugin and this resolved the issue.

I have tried purging everything relating to caching and also tried deactivating the cache plugins. Neither helped on the issue.
Also, I tried re-validated the API key. The key was validated, but it didn’t help on the issue.
What’s next?
September 12, 2020 at 8:10 pm in reply to: Google Maps – This page can't load Google Maps correctly #1245424I have tried logging into the account myself and I also got the server error the first time.
Try logging in again, then it should be working.

It seemed that my Chrome browser was blocking scripts it tought was unsafe. By forcing these scripts to load the issue solved itself.
Cheers!
Hello Ismael,
Disabling the Rocket Loader fixed the problem.
Thanks.
Hello Elliott,
I have now tried completely removing the theme including child theme followed by re-uploading a fresh copy from Themeforst again – Without it resolving the problem.
What is the next step we might be able to take towards a solution?
Thanks.

Here is a screenshot: http://sundwall.d.pr/1i9FV
As you can see the close menu icon appears, but the menu itself does not.
Sorry for the late reply. I can report that the code snippet doesn’t work.
Good to hear that I wasn’t the only one having the problem.
As a side note I am using Chrome v.37 (64 bit).

I have found out that enabling Cloudflare Rocket Loader™ (Web optimization) breaks the website when using Enfold 3.0.
This was NOT an issue running earlier versions of Enfold.
This must be an issue with the newly released Enfold 3.0.
This reply has been marked as private. It happened after updating to Enfold 3.0. I haven’t touched any settings other than deactivating minify everywhere.

I have deactivated everything releated to minify (plugin and Cloudflare). Problem still persists.
All cache has been flushed, file permissions has been reset and BWP Minified has re-created the files.
This didn’t solve the issue, unfortunately.
I guess the site has been improved a lot by now. Thanks for all the input! It definately helped me out here.
The requests has dropped from 73 to 31 (when using Pingdom).

Hey Peter,
You are able to see the features at this site: https://www.cloudflare.com/features-optimizer
AutoMinify
On-the-fly removal of unnecessary characters from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Saves 20% of a file’s size and works without caching so it can support even fully dynamic pages. My question is just that… Is the minify plugin nescessary when Cloudflare is also minifying all scripts and css when loading through their servers?
I have stripped down the plugins to the ones that is absolutely in use. Most of the css calls are actually coming from the Enfold theme.
1. Optimize all images with AI/Photoshop before uploading to server ‘save as web safe’ jpg.
I usually just saved them ‘normally’ and then run them through http://optimizilla.com/. Won’t this procedure result in the same way?2. Once all images are uploaded on the website, optimize with www optimizer plugin twice 1hr 10mins apart.
You mean the plugin named ‘EWWW Image Optimizer’? If yes, I get the following error when activating it: http://code.youare.ninja/gpKb
On another note, this is a disallowed plugin at WP Engine. Refer to: http://wpengine.com/support/disallowed-plugins/3. Install wp-smushit run once to remove jpeg extra data, then uninstall.
Run it? There is no admin panel attached to this plugin.4. Use BWP minify plugin to minify scripts and stylesheets.
It has been activated. Anything else to do with this plugin?5. Install WP-Super cache, select all recommended settings.
This is not an option. WP Super Cache is a disallowed plugin at WP Engine. Refer to: http://wpengine.com/support/disallowed-plugins/7. Join Cloudflare setup your website on their CDN, Choose options: Full CDN Optimisation save then activate purge files. once done log out.
The website is already running through Cloudflare with that optimization.8. Have a cup of coffee.
Has been done… Several times.10. Don’t forget to smile.
Sometimes I do forget… Thanks for the reminder!- This reply was modified 10 years, 3 months ago by mp3dk.
I have tried activating the default WordPress theme on my staging website and it feels much faster.
Sorry for the very, very… very slow respons.
The website still loads incredible slow the first time. After that the site has been cached and loads fast.
Could this have anything to do with the frontpage slider?
Is the images too heavy to load? The website is hosted with WP Engine and it is running through Cloudflare at the moment.
And yes, I have tried different connections such as Wi-Fi, cable, cellular 4G/LTE using my iPhone 5s, and also tethering through my iPhone to my laptop. Same results.

Yes, I have tried using that tool plenty of times, but even though the load is ok @ pingdom, my own loading time is huge! I have no idea why.

It has always been very fast, but haven’t since the last two theme updates. To me it seems like the theme has gone very, very heavy.
I got the same problem aswell. Using Chrome there is no icons, but they DO show in Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Hello Kriesi,
I have just checked using the WordPress Update Site and there is no updates for Enfold. Perhaps I should just give it until tomorrow? Although it says that last check was done 2 minutes ago.
Thanks, Josue. That did the trick!
