It took some time until I did it, but this didn’t help.
I’ll have my team help me with it and reach out if it didn’t help. Pls don’t close the topic for now. I’ll let you know how it went.
Thanks
I didn’t figure it out. This has been the issue from the very beginning. The update has started, but the download from Amazon wasn’t allowed. Check this topic – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/theme-update-to-version-3-8-error/ – to see the error message (it’s private for moderators)
The issue is with downloading the theme from AWS, not with updating the theme on the server.
I was able to auto update the theme before. The issue appeared when I copied the website to a local Australian domain and there were two different domains for one license key. So I purchased another license, generated a new API key and updated it.
Will I have to keep updating the theme via FTP every time? It’s not very convenient. I’d rather purchase the theme with a different account if you could refund me (if there isn’t another way)
OK, thanks
I realized one thing. We have created a copy of the website and put it to another domain. I’m thinking whether that could possibly cause the issue? The license that we purchased includes only one domain, correct?
So I double-checked and it is 775. I’ve generated a new Envato API key (the old one was correct though). However, I don’t see the option to update to 3.8 anymore and it says that 3.7.1 is the latest version. Did you guys roll back the update or is there some problem with my API key?
Thanks Basilis, I’ll check and let you know.
Hi,
it would be great if I could choose to redirect to a page after I submit a contact form instead of showing the message. It would let us work with the user flow much better.
Cheers,
