MoniqueJune 12, 2016 at 11:41 am in reply to: Different style sidebar standard and in combination with advanced layout builder #646849Hi Andy,
I want them all to look like the standard sidebar (see below).
Regards,
MoniqueHey Jordan,
Does that not influence all special headings?
And, I only want that specific header on the home page with a larger font size, not all (H2) special headers.
Why do the special heading settings not work?

I’ve already rated your theme with 5* so that’s covered :-)
Can you please flag this topic as solved (I cannot do that myself I believe?). This keeps it more easy for me to maintain open and closed topics.
Have a nice day,

MoniqueJune 6, 2016 at 6:01 pm in reply to: bg image in grid row not covering whole height (only on iPad) #643522Aha, wonderful, that works!
There are so many options in Enfold that it’s hard to know them all ;-) Is this a fairly new option perhaps?
Anyway, this issue is solved, so you can flag this topic as closed.
Thanks Ismael & best regards,
MoniqueJune 2, 2016 at 9:18 am in reply to: Enfold in combination with WooCommerce – shop only visible/accessible to clients #641917Thanks for your reply Rikard!
1. Maybe to maintain a good loading speed of the website? I learned that a shop in a website has a heavy weight on loading times. The existing website is already quite large and I want to avoid it slowing down. What is your experience with Enfold + WooCommerce in that respect?
2. I also asked in the Linked Group WordPress Experts. Just received one reply. I will further look into this.

MoniqueMay 24, 2016 at 2:57 pm in reply to: Extra widget area in header. logo left, menu under and centered #637501Hi,
I tried something like that before without success. I now set the whole code to
#text-2 { left: 80% !important; padding: 0px !important; }
and the image is still smaller (too small).

MoniqueMay 24, 2016 at 12:44 pm in reply to: Extra widget area in header. logo left, menu under and centered #637409Yes Andy, I can solve it, however not fully satisfactory (sorry). Something ‘strange’ happens.
Below you can see two screen prints, one for left 80% as you suggested and one for left 70%. The image is smaller with 80% than with 70% (which is in fact the size we prefere).
However, when using left 70%, the image (1) is not far enough to the right side of the screen and (2) sort of floats over the main menu so that some menu items (blog, contact) cannot be clicked properly.
I will leave it now on 70% so that you can check by yourself.

MoniqueMay 24, 2016 at 11:42 am in reply to: Extra widget area in header. logo left, menu under and centered #637382Hi Andy,
Thanks that works fine.
What surprises me though is that the image is being reduced in size the more I put it to the right…?

MoniqueMay 21, 2016 at 8:20 am in reply to: Extra widget area in header. logo left, menu under and centered #636158Hi Ismael,
Wow, I followed the instructions again including your advise and it looks much better now.
The only question left is (see blue area in printscreen below) how to get the extra widget image placed on the right side of the screen and how to get it to shrink with the header?
Any suggestions on that?

MoniqueMay 19, 2016 at 5:55 pm in reply to: Extra widget area in header. logo left, menu under and centered #635370Hi Andy,
1) Perhaps I should have mentioned I am using a child theme, so I have inserted the code in functions.php and style.css of the child theme. Is that ok too?
Is it ok that I set the theme options to logo left and menu under? Or should my starting point be logo center and menu under?Regards,
MoniqueMay 19, 2016 at 4:19 pm in reply to: Extra widget area in header. logo left, menu under and centered #635296Hi Andy,
Thanks for your reply.
Maybe I am a little pigheaded, but to me that is all one topic. Maybe you could have suggested to use the center logo & menu and adjust css for the logo and extra widget? That makes it one issue.
To center the menu following your suggestion is not an option. It looks ‘more or less ok’ in bigger screens, but if you look at smaller screen (below 1024px?), the menu is not centered anymore.
For the extra widget area, like I mentioned, I already followed the instructions you are repeating here. Without success.
Please advise.

Hey Yigit!
Yah, that helps. I had to do a few other additional styles, but you definitely helped me on the right way.

Hi Andy,
That is what I thought. I will talk to my client and most probably we will leave it as it is.
Can you flag this topis as closed?
Thanks for all your effort and help!

MoniqueHey Andy,
Now that you ask ;-) Is it perhaps possible that the left menu bar stops scrolling further down as soon as the bottom of the menu has been reached? Of course that should not have an influence on the main content section, because that part might be much longer than the left menu bar. Or is that too complicated?

MoniqueApril 5, 2016 at 4:58 pm in reply to: Enfold title and breadcrumb not showing on blog page (multilanguage) #608383Hi Rikard,
Yes of course. And the version.txt always tels us which files have been changed. Just something to remember ;-)
Thanks a lot and please flag this topic as closed.
Regards,
MoniqueHi Ismael,
If I do that, the menu bar doesn’t scroll at all anymore, so the last items in the menu cannot be seen nor read anymore. Therefore this is no solution.

MoniqueApril 4, 2016 at 5:32 pm in reply to: Enfold title and breadcrumb not showing on blog page (multilanguage) #607767Hi Ismael,
That works great! Thanks so much!
Just for my information. I’ve put the index.php file in the child theme now. Is this file often changed when updates of the theme are being processed?
Regards,
MoniqueHi there,
Please find FTP details below.
Wonderful if you want to check. I work with a child theme, so best is to use the (functions.php) file in there.

MoniqueApril 1, 2016 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Enfold title and breadcrumb not showing on blog page (multilanguage) #606786Hi Yigit,
Like I mentioned before, that is not an option. By using the multilanguage plugin (Polylang and also WPML I believe), the pages are not rendered in a proper way! When using the Enfold settings, the home page(s) disappear completely and show the blog pages content in stead. And on the blog page(s) there is no content at all… Choosing the home and blog page(s) through WP settings is the only option to render the pages correctly.
I had to change it back to the settings like they were before. My client will go mad when she sees this so shortly before launching the website :-(
If you want to test the settings again to see what happens, please can you do so in the weekend (when the client is not watching)?
If you can find a solution within the current settings that would be great!

MoniqueHi Vinnie,
Sorry for my late reply – I’ve had a terrible flu the last couple of weeks.
Thanks for your effort, but I can’t get this to work and to hire a freelancer is no option.
The client accepted how it functions now, so you can flag this topic as solved.

MoniqueHi Andy,
Did you scroll down?
I double checked on other pc, laptop, iPad, and they all look like this…

MoniqueHi Ismael,
I’m afraid that doesnt help either. I think I will give up (and hope the client will not complain).
