Thank you for your quick answer, although it is disappointing.
Rather than looking for a plugin to solve this, I think for the next project I will use a different theme/page builder.
I am sorry to say that Enfold appears to have been stagnating and is being left behind.Kind regards
Michael
Hi Rikard,
got it, excellent. Thank you for your help.
Kind regards
MichaelHi Rikard,
yes, border radius is fine. I also try to have a shadow only for the container with rounded corners, and not the header above.
I could not find the CSS selector to achieve thatKind regards
MichaelHi Rikard,
for the time being, during building it is http://test2018.mueller-gartenplanung.de/
then it is http://mueller-gartenplanung.de/Kind regards
MichaelHi
Ok, looks like the forms “forgot” the “from” email address.
Don’t know why, but let’s hope they remember them now.Kind regards
MichaelHi
Just for fun I created a new testpage with a similar form – and it works!
Then I re-created a new form on my contact page, deleted the old one – and it works!
However, and this is really strange. On the other website https://drohnen-inspekteure.de/ there was the same problem.
So I deleted the old form and created a new one – works again.
It looks like some hiccup sneaked into the contact forms, but how could this happen on two different sites?
Anyone have any idea? Perhaps the email mentioned above ” (Email address hidden if logged out) ” is a clue? I did not set that up.Kind regards

Hi
that does not seem to be the explanation for the issue.
For a test I have deleted the form in the footer, and it does not make a difference to the email sent from the contact page.Kind regards
MichaelHi,
the footer form is hidden on the contact page, so there are not two forms.
But I have unhidden and tested it. It works like on the other pagesKind regards
MichaelHi,
thank you, so what can be done about this issue?
I have the same on this website: https://drohnen-inspekteure.de/Sending a message with the footer form generates an autoresponder email,
sending a message with the contact page form does not.Kind regards
MichaelHi Basilis,
no, I did not get any mails.
Did you also receive an autoresponder confirmation mail from the form in the contact page?Kind regards

ok, thank you for your help.
I suppose I will resign to the fact that it is either a fixed order of slides,
or random with the occasional quick blank slide in betweenNovember 6, 2018 at 11:37 am in reply to: LayerSlider – How can First Slide appear only once? #1030338Hi Ismael,
thanks for your help.
Actually, I have the first drone layer as “forever”. Starting the slider with a fixed image is an option,
but I like the idea of a random first image. That is why the first drone slide is blank, quickly followed by an image layer
and then all images in shuffle mode.
I guess it is not possible to prevent the first blank slide from re-appearing again later.November 5, 2018 at 11:27 am in reply to: LayerSlider – How can First Slide appear only once? #1029843Hi,
I have only just seen your reply, because unfortunately the email ended up in spam.
Not sure what you mean with transition out. The drone layer actually appears in the first slide and without any other image,
then stays there permanently. When this first slide is played again later, a blank slide is seen.
I have reduced the time to 500ms, so it is only a minor issue.
Still, if the first slide could be prevented from appearing again, that would be great.Kind regards
MichaelOctober 24, 2018 at 5:44 pm in reply to: LayerSlider – How can First Slide appear only once? #1026018Hi Victoria,
I mean the order of the slides is random, with the exception of the first one, to have the drone flying in.
This does work, with the small “issue” that the first slide with white background appears again later, and I would like to prevent thatPPS More specifically, deactivation of CSS minification in WP rocket is a workaround
Right, after some trying I found the explanation. this may help others in future:
I had Relevanssi installed, but the error did not disappear when deactivating it. Therefore I did not think the cause was there.
then I remembered some extra code I included in the functions.php due to this:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/auto-suggest-funktion-der-suche/
and this https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-code-update-for-2-2-to-use-relavanssi-plugin//* * add Relevanssi for WordPress searches */ add_filter('avf_ajax_search_function', 'avia_init_relevanssi', 10, 4); function avia_init_relevanssi($function_name, $search_query, $search_parameters, $defaults) { $function_name = 'avia_relevanssi_search'; return $function_name; } function avia_relevanssi_search($search_query, $search_parameters, $defaults) { global $query; $tempquery = $query; if(empty($tempquery)) $tempquery = new WP_Query(); $tempquery->query_vars = $search_parameters; relevanssi_do_query($tempquery); $posts = $tempquery->posts; return $posts; } /* * disable Ajax search */ add_filter('avf_frontend_search_form_param', 'avia_deactivate_ajax_search',10,1); function avia_deactivate_ajax_search($params) { $params['ajax_disable'] = true; return $params; }
After deleting this, the menu stays still, also with the search enabled.
All the best
MichaelCool, that works. Thank you very much Rikard!
Hi Rikard
It makes no difference, I am afraid.
Is there not a way to “protect” the logo area and adjust the width of the menu items so they still fit when the screen width is reduced?
Kind Regards
MichaelHi
Yes, I guess we can consider this one closed here
Thanks for your help
MichaelHi Andy
I did a new install via FTP already, it does not change anythingGreat, thank you that’s it Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Thanks, that works. However all too well, because the main contact form on that page is also invisibleOk, I have found it. this works:
#top .footer_color .input-text, #top .footer_color input[type=”text”], #top .footer_color input[type=”input”], #top .footer_color input[type=”password”], #top .footer_color input[type=”email”], #top .footer_color input[type=”number”], #top .footer_color input[type=”url”], #top .footer_color input[type=”tel”], #top .footer_color input[type=”search”], #top .footer_color textarea, #top .footer_color select {
border-color: #dedede;
padding: 5px;
margin-top: -10px;}.avia_ajax_form .button {
margin: 0;
padding: 5px;
margin-top: 5px;
border-radius: 0px;
border-bottom-width: 0px;
border-bottom-style: solid;
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 0.92em;
min-width: 60px;
outline: none;
}Just the little question of not showing the form on one particular page, any ideas?
PS is it possible not to show the contact form in the footer on the contact page with the main contact form?
that would be a bonus.Hi,
they are working on it and I also hope for the best.
To support this, they asked for ideas from you, because you know Enfold in more detail.Hi Andy,
the problem is apparently connected to WP Rocket (see above), because deactivating the plugin “solves” the issue.
WP Rocket is also looking at this and have asked for input by the theme provider (quote “Finding a way to load icons first could be a solution”)A new Enfold installation via FTP did not make a difference btw.
Thank you
MichaelYes, did that. also newly installed Chrome especially on my notebook
Still does not work for me.
Also, with every Ctrl+F5 the menu appears first, then the search icon an the menu moves to the left.
It really looks like the menu items and search icon are not loaded simultaneusly
Kind regards
MichaelHi Yigit
Thanks for your quick response.
the CSS does not help though. Search icon still disappears and the menu move to and fro
(in Chrome and Opera other browsers like Firefox and IE11 are ok)“On the surface” this is what is apparently happening:
Click on a menu item -> the search icon vanishes for a moment and the menu moves right into that space,
the search menu appears again and the menu moves back to the left -
