First of all, thank you!
The concerns are not mine anyway, but a customers. I just could not really answer them and wanted to ask.But one thing seems to be misunderstood here: must not in english is not the same as for example “muss nicht” in german, but is absolute, so it means it’s not allowed to be like that, not that it can or cannot…

I just checked all the imagesizes and i don’t know why, but on the original image there is no border and on the automatically created imagesizes there are different borders…
Do you have any idea where this could come from?

No it’s not! The grey border all around the image is actually what i want, that’s why i put the code there.
I am talking about the black borders on the left and right inside the grey border.Hi Ismael,

I think i still hanven’t made clear, what i am trying to do…
I want it to cut off after the EXACT Amount of characters specified even if that means in the middle of a word, but the provided code cuts at the end of the next word.
Example from the homepage:
Characters specified: 70
Keine monatlichen SAP-Meldungen sollen außer Acht gelassen werden. Die… (70)
Digitale Plattformen und ihre Geschäftsmodelle erobern Branche um Branche,… (74)
Bosch will eine der wichtigsten Einstiegshürden für kleinere Unternehmen…(72)
Viele KMU in Österreich haben Aufholbedarf bei Digitalisierung und Automatisierung…(82)See what i mean?

I am sorry, but thats not a good example, because “Die” is a whole word. If you try to cut it off after 69 characters, what happens then?

I had already managed to specify the number directly in the magazine.php in my child theme, as i had to modify that anyway. But the excerpt is not cutting off at the specified number of characters (75 in my case), but at the end of words, sometimes after 72, sometimes after 80, depending on the length of words…
I need it to cut directly at 75 (or a nother number i specify there).Cheers,

That’s sadly impossible. The site is live and depends on a lot of the plugins.

I did exactly what the video said with the class-breadcrumb.php, but still the original one is chosen over the one in my childtheme…
I have the file in childtheme/framework/php/, so the path is correct.All i wanted to do is chnage the max-length of the title displayed from 70 to 30, but when i change it back in the original theme, its back to 70, even though i changed it to 30 in the childtheme…

MaxOk, i just realized, it shows the excerpt, if you enter one into the excerpt field, and if there is nothing in the excerpt field, it shows the title…
Hi,
I am quite fit with CSS, so that is not the solution i was looking for. The purpose of this widget is to act as a banner-ad. But that wont be there all the time, just when someone bought the space. I can’t just put the css in and tell my customer he has to take it out and put it in everytime the ad is sold or not…
Isn’t there a way to insert the whole thing over the header-area?
