So if I understand this well. I child theme is a copy of a theme, there are no update changes.
when I update the parent theme nothing changes in the child theme?
so wy do I have to update the parent theme? there is nu influence for the child theme?

Sorry I have to ask you again….
I tried the options you suggested.
To instal the plugin to instal with the zipfile. Sounds easy…but when I download enfold from the website…I get al lot of folders but no zipfile?
I don’t dear to try it with the FTP way.

Please can you tell me where I can find the zipfile and try it with the plugin…

It worked out!
When i logged in my website i just had to klik update enfold en it worked…
I do not know why it worked out well. I did not do anything with the api key?
It was the old code that before did not worked.

Alright problem solved for now :)

but it did not worked out for my website hannekevandekerkhof.be.
because it i get the message every thing was oké but it is stil the old version of enfold.

i don’t know where to find the API key for the second website.

I see that it is not possible to see a video on a smartphone with the full wide slider.
I am not experienced with all the code ect so i am afraid to try this….
it is a pitty that the video do not work on mobile…

There is no plugin or something this will work more easy?

Do I have to put in the APK key in the child theme or not? I do not want to have changes after any update.
But I want that my enfold theme works well.

I made my design in a childtheme, I do not understand all the options in the document you send me ( i am a absoluut beginner). I do not want to start all over again…

sorry it is so hard for me to understand but the answers I get are confusing for me.

Last question. I have to import te license link in the parent theme and the child theme I think?
When the child theme get any updates my settings will not change? I hope :)
Is this correct? I just ask this because I want to be sure, I had a lot of work and I don’t want to start all over again :)

For me it is difficult to understand as well :)
I had to create a different domeinname but is is a subdomein by my host.
But the two sites are different, with different names. so I think I have to have another license?
I created te portfolio site and not insert the APK key. because I was not sure if I can use the APK key in two sites.
I used the APK key only for the miss blue sky and not for my portfolio.
When I buy a new license for the portfolio site…di I have to install enfold again or can I use it like it is now and give it the new APK key that I buy as a new license?
The two sites are not online yet, only under construction because I want to clear this out first and I don’t want to make any mistakes

How is it possible to have two sites on the same domein?

I am sorry if I am difficult to understand but it is difficult for me as well :)

ps; I went to the host site and checked out that i have one main site, missbluesky and one subsite that is the portfolio.
but they have different names…. so what do I do best?

Hi Yigit,

Child theme never gets an update :) Always parent theme gets updates and since child theme inherits parent theme, child theme will inherit updated parent theme, so all is well.

this I do not understand? first you say child theme do not get updates. and than, since parent theme inherits child theme is updated parent theme as well? that’s two different things i think.

when I put my API code in the child theme you suggest than I get updates but my site will be overwritten when there is any updates and I lose my design?
