I get the same error. I’ve subscribed to this thread so I can see replies from Enfold support.

April 16, 2018 at 2:29 am in reply to: Masonry Gallery: clicking on paging links jumps back to the top of the page #942377Thanks Victoria, but I’ve added that code and it doesn’t work. It doesn’t change anything. It still brings you to the top of the page after refreshing the page. I have tried clearing the browsing data in Chrome, and opening in another browser which I rarely every use in case my browser was caching it with the same results.

I have another question…
We are setting up a new site, considering using Enfold but want to make sure we can set it up like we have in mind first. Can we use our current theme files (we do have the theme installed on another active domain) in order to set up Enfold on this 2nd domain and create the design, then if it works well for what we want for that site, buy the license. We will definitely pay for the license if we use the theme. For getting a second license is it just a matter of buying the theme again from Themeforest? Thanks!

Hi Nikko,
That page showing the problem has been published and needs to stay that way. But I can create 2 draft posts so you can see the issue. I can’t get to it right away because I have a lot of work right now that I need to get done. But I’ll post all the details back here as soon as I have created them.
Thanks!
These are member galleries with their work, and this particular member didn’t send us any horizontal images (I have asked, but he hasn’t had a chance yet). So I can’t put an image there that is not his work, or is irrelevant, because this page represents his business. I could add an image just for a couple minutes and take a screenshot, will that help?
It is a very weird issue. I just realized that even though it definitely helped to turn off the email validation in that we received to email addresses that we couldn’t before, that email validation is for the senders email address and the issue is with the recipients email address. So it doesn’t make sense, but I saw better results after I did that.
Is anyone else experiencing or reporting this issue?
I have figured out that it’s the email validation option in the contact form that is causing the problem. Emails to .com addresses seem to work when validation is turned on now (after all these fixes above). But .com seems to be the only extension that gets validated properly.
When I turn the validation off and set it to ‘is not empty’ instead then I also receive emails to .net, .org, and .us domains. Even with validation turned off I do not receive emails to .info domains. I have not tested any other domains.
So maybe your email validation script needs to be updated?
I set up a gmail address as recipient and received the email. Then I set the form up with my main .info email address and received nothing. Set the form up with our support@ email as the recipient and have received nothing.
I believe I used my gmail address on a previous test. But I just did it again and will let you know if I get the email. Otherwise assume I didn’t.
I won’t be able to install that plugin until Monday.
I just tried sending a couple of emails to different addresses from the page you created Josue and I haven’t received the emails.
It was weird yesterday I received one email from an Enfold contact form I had set up to test. it was an anomaly. Further testing without having changed anything and I did not get any more emails.
A support person at our hosting company uploaded a PHPmailer script to the site to test if mail was able to be sent from the server. I tested it by sending to the two email addresses I have been using in my testing of the contact form. Both emails were received. So the host is not the problem. Mail can be sent from the server. The email recipients are not the problem, as both mails were received.
Hi Josue,
I tried point 2 last night. No difference. However, I was getting emails from wordpress@ when I submitted through the comment form. So wordpress@ was able to send mail. But after implementing point 2, the Enfold contact form was still not sending.Ok, opening this ticket again. We can change the email address now. But the contact form is not sending emails. It acts like it’s working, but we never get the email.
There is a usability issue with the send button as well. It often takes 2-3 tries before it actually registers the click and submits the form.
Cloudflare has been off since Jan 6. I am sure I had purged the cache at that time, but i just did it again in case. We have no local cache.
That fixed it!
Hi Andy
Yes, we are still experiencing the problem.
Activating the default theme is not just a simple matter of doing that and then going back to Enfold. When I do I have to waste time setting up sidebar widgets again because they disappear, not to mention that the entire live site will be messed up during the time I am doing that and testing. Also because the issue is with the Enfold Contact Form Widget, if I switch to the default theme I won’t be test the contact form widget, right?
That newest version did fix another issue we were having though :)

It seems to be no longer happening Rikard. Maybe it was fixed in this most recent update a couple of days ago?
Anyway, this ticket can be closed. I can’t re-create the issue, and it was appearing on multiple posts. So for now let’s call it resolved.
Thanks!

December 19, 2015 at 12:47 am in reply to: No longer able to delete Enfold custom sidebar widgets #555269Thanks Yigit, I just updated and was able to delete the custom widgets. But in case any of your other Enfold users still have trouble, it didn’t work for me until I force-refreshed the Widgets page. So they may have to do the same. After the force-refresh it worked fine. Thank you!
Ok. Can you let me know when the fix has been released? Then I can update Enfold and test it then get to work changing all the 160 contact forms that will need to be fixed.
I just updated to the version released today and tested but that didn’t have this bug fix in it, because the problem persists.
Hi Basilis,
It looks like that is a translation plugin. We don’t need translation, we don’t need something that works on the PO files. What we need is just to change the text that appears in the Enfold Comments widget, for the English language. Is this really the best/only way to change the labeling that Enfold uses in the comments widget? We don’t want to add a lot of plugins, we don’t want to bog down the site and server, and Enfold seems to have issues with many plugins. From the description of the loco translation plugin it doesn’t look like it will solve the problem.

We have fixed this issue for now. But I have seen for the support threads that this issue has affected other people too. I hope that you will fix the code issues in Enfold to keep it from happening in the future. Because until it’s fixed it will keep cropping up. I suspect most people who experience it think that it is a plugin issue, but it’s not. The problem is caused by, and affects Enfold elements.
November 24, 2015 at 11:01 pm in reply to: Masonry galleries & icon list icons disappear if logged in #542028Ok, we have fixed this problem now. The problem is not with other plugins, but with the coding that the Enfold elements are using. There’s some bad coding in there that you really should fix up.
Ok, the site is now open to visitors from Greece. Let me know if you have any problems with viewing the site or logging in now.
I worked for 3 hours last night with our plugin developer. In the end he figure it out and fixed the issue with Enfold elements breaking when his plugin was installed. The issue was with poorly written javascript code that didn’t properly close and release a session so that other plugins can use it. In the time we were testing and debugging we some very buggy behavior, like Enfold elements not even playing nicely with each other.
Even though we have fixed the issue with the Enfold elements when we activate this one plugin, we still have issues on the site. 170+ pages that use the masonry gallery, are now being affected as well, possibly another plugin. Some thing the gallery is not displaying. I’m guessing it’s the same cause, the badly written code used by that Enfold element. Let me just stress, the problem is NOT with the other plugins. The problem is with Enfold elements. This problem basically cripples our ability to extend WordPress in the way that it’s designed to be extended, with plugins, no matter how well written those plugins are. Enfold basically forces us to use the Avia Layout Builder, or things as simple as Post Titles don’t work properly. But now having used the Avia Layout Builder, we see that there are at least a few elements that are not robust enough to handle other plugins without breaking badly.
On themecheck.org Enfold scores a 0% – F. With lots and lots of errors and warnings. I suspect some of these errors and warnings are pointing out the poorly coded javascript that was causing problems for us. The problems seem to be in the Avia Layout Builder and it’s elements. The two media elements Full Width Slider, Masonry Gallery, and the content element Icon Lists (the icon disappears). We don’t use many of the media elements other than these two, so there could be issues in other elements too, but those are the ones I can tell you for sure were affected by this javascript issue.
I hope all this information gives you a good starting place to start looking, and I sincerely hope you choose to fix the issues with Enfold to allow it to reach it’s potential instead of causing headaches and preventing sites from extending their functionality with plugins.
Hi Yigit,
We are running the latest version (3.4.3).We have a security plugin installed that blocks most countries. Where are you located Yigit? I can open it up to your country so you can check the site.
November 24, 2015 at 2:04 am in reply to: Session errors and Masonry Gallery and Full Width Slider disappearing #541293We are running the latest version (3.4.3).
We have a security plugin installed that blocks most countries. We only need it available to the US, and then my location and the plugin developers because we are in different countries. Where are you located Yigit? I can open it up to your country so you can check the site.
And now it is mysteriously not working. I don’t have the option to choose the order. It was working, now it’s not.
