Hello,
I wanted to give you on update on the progress.
I followed your advice “Another way would be to use your webhost backup files to restore your site, and then disable your child theme and manually update like this:”
So from the dashboard I went to themes and deleted the Enfold Theme and used the upload new theme from the themes dashboard and it worked perfectly. Normally I do all of this manually with FTP but I like this way better.
Thank you for your help!!
April 29, 2024 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Website Crashed When Enfold Was Updated – Critical Error #1441348I will try uploading the theme through WordPress, I upload it through FTP. I always uninstall the existing theme before installing the new and I check the folder to make sure it has has been completely removed before I install the new one.
I will try what you suggested and let you know what happens.
Thank you.
April 28, 2024 at 2:40 am in reply to: Website Crashed When Enfold Was Updated – Critical Error #1441108Hello,
I am using a child theme. In the past I have uploaded the latest version through FTP and everything worked fine, I didn’t have to do anything with the child theme before.
How do I update the child theme template files?
To answer your question, once I upload the latest version of enfold and activate the child theme it crashes. This is what I have always done in the past and everything worked.
Thank you for your help.
April 25, 2024 at 2:18 am in reply to: Website Crashed When Enfold Was Updated – Critical Error #1440738Hello,
I previously deleted the then current Enfold theme from the website from the WordPress theme section and then used FTP to upload the most recent Enfold theme. When uploading the new folder with the latest version of Enfold I could see that the previous Enfold version was removed, including the folder.
What else can I do to resolve this?
Thank you.

December 11, 2020 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Layer Slider not working without the WP Admin login and did update the theme #1266638Sorry, I forgot to mention that the theme is current and I disabled all of the plugins to see if that was the issue and still had the problem.
Thank you!
December 11, 2020 at 7:44 pm in reply to: Layer Slider not working without the WP Admin login and did update the theme #1266632I am experiencing the same thing on the homepage. I will include login information in private section.
Thank you for your help, it is greatly appreciated!
RESOLVED’ish for me
This is what I did:
Made sure I had the current version of theme installed.
Disabled all pluginsResult: Still had the issue.
Next I logged in to the website with Firefox and the Theme Options worked fine, no issues.
I am still unable to see the Theme Options with Chrome (browser I normally use) but hopefully the next update will resolve the issue on Chrome.
Everything is figured out, thank you for your help!
Great, thanks!
Quick question though. How do I remove it if I can’t get the the element to work?
I have included the login information for the actual website as well, that is the one I need to make the change on. If you can tell me how you made the change without accessing the element that would be great!
Thank you for your help!
Okay, took me a while but finally have the temporary website up for you to look at.
Thank you for your help.
I can create a duplicate of the website for this.
I will let you know when it has been created, thanks.
I created a new password for you.
Thanks.I disabled every plugin at the same time and am still getting the same issue.
Hello?
When I disabled the plugins the problem still occurred.

Thank you.
January 17, 2020 at 10:28 pm in reply to: testimonials text area hyperlinks links not working on mobile phones #1175700I am testing it on my mobile phone.
That didn’t work. I did try to simplify things a bit with the custom class and this worked:
.whitefont * {
color: #ffffff !important;
}
Thanks for the help!Four days after my initial question and all I received so far is a question asking “want to change the color for?” when my original questions says “change the font color on a specific catalogue element”.
Can somebody please help me here, this has now become urgent and any help would be greatly appreciated.
The catalogue element I am wanting all of the font to be white on is the homepage. The other request was that there is no hover color so when you hover over the items there is no color.
Thank you in advance for your help, it is really needed.
Does anybody have any ideas? This is a little on the urgent side so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I see it working now, thanks!
I am using the catalogue element and need to know how to control the color of the fonts for the specific catalogue elements without changing all of the catalogue elements throughout the website.
This didn’t have any affect, any other ideas?
Thank you.
That worked!
I actually changed it to 60px so it looked better, the 200 was just a number I was using because I knew I would notice 200 right away. Thanks for your help!
That didn’t work. I have provided login credentials to make it easier for you to see whats going on.
Thank you.
I am wanting the header color to be that color but transparent once you start scrolling.
Right now the header color doesn’t show until you start to scroll. At that point I would like for it to be the same color it is but transparent some, like maybe .2 or .3.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
I removed the css you mentioned and that worked for the footer. My question why did that affect the footer with the #top in the css? I thought that would only affect the header. Now that I removed it the footer is working properly but the header is not. How do I make that css work for the header and not the footer as well?
Thank you.
It has been 3 days since I posted this, anybody have any ideas?
Thanks.
