Hey Josue,
unfortunately it didn´t work. I added login data to the private section if you like to have a look. To me that seems like a clear bug which only occurs in FF (maybe only FF on Mac?)
Hopefully you find a quick solution for that because that´s exactly the thing I need for a current customer project.
Have great start into the weekl
MichaelAny progress here? Any idea why this does not work in Firefox???
Yes I followed the instructions but it´s a bit strange anyway. At the end I got it working but it´s not as straight as it should be. Anyway it´s not your fault. Google has to be blamed ;-)
Thanks anyway
MichaelHey,
I already have updated to 3.8 (as mentioned above ;-)) and I see the option to set the background “fixed”. So I removed the custom css that you mentioned in your answer on August 12th and activated the fixed bg option for the slider. That works perfect in Safari and Chrome but NOT in Firefox.
There seems to be an issue with Firefox and fixed backgrounds.
Check https://dev.der-prinz.com/enfold/ in Chrome and Firefox and take a look at the strange thing I mentioned before:
“The strange thing is it works in a color section element (alittle down that page with the colred tubes) but not in a fullscreen-slider (the first element with the b/w images)”
Thanks
MichaelJust my 5 cents: It should be an selectable option in the themes options to completely hide the mobile menu if you use the burger menu. Noone should have to write custom css for this purpose. Its´just logic that you don´t use the mobile menu in case you use the burger menu anyway.
I updated to version 3.8 right now which has the option to set the fullscreen-slider background to “fixed” (thanks for the addition) but that also does not work in Firefox.
The strange thing is it works in a color section element (alittle down that page with the colred tubes) but not in a fullscreen-slider (the first element with the b/w images)

Hey guys,
I tested it on my dev site at https://dev.der-prinz.com/enfold/ and I´m afraid that does not work in Firefox whilst it works in Chrome and Safari.
Any thoughts on that?
Cheers
MichaelAfter playing around with the API stuff I finally managed it. Works now.
Thanks for the support
Seems like I´m too stupid to create an API key correctly. I created a new one and it still does not work. Same issue over and over again. Don´t know what I´m doing wrong. The API key I created has no domain restrictions.
But when I look at the dashboard of my API project it says “no APIs active”. When I click on “activate” I get a list of almost 100 different APIs and I have no idea what to do.
Any idea?
MichaelHi there,
sorry for my late response. For some reason it still does not work on http://www.der-prinz.de/kontakt/. I removed the directory protection login and added the WP login data below in the private section (testet: they work).I also followed the steps for generating the API key. Currently I added your API key as advised. Still doesn´t work.
Hope you can help me.
Cheers

Hi Yigit,
sorry but I forgot about the extra authentification.
You can try it on my other site (doesn´t need the auth thing). Credentials attached. The issue is located at http://hoobs-hof.de/kontakt/
Thanks
MichaelCredentials attached
Thanks Josue. Will try it.
Hi Josue,
of course I´m aware of that but there is no such option in combination with a slider, right?
Cheers
MichaelWorks as expected. Thanks a lot.
Thanks Yigit. Got it.
Hey Yigit,
that´s great but where do I get a list of all the icon “numbers”?
And is there an option to use completely different icons?
Thanks
MichaelI´ll give it a try. Thanks anyway.
Hey Josue,
I updated the theme to the most recent version and switched back to PHP 7 and everything works just fine.
Cheers
MichaelHey Josue,
my hoster was able to fix it. I wasn´t using the latest Enfold version and there was an issue with PHP 7.0 which my server uses. The latest Enfold supports PHP 7.0 right?
For the time being we switched to PHP 5.6 but sure I wanna switch back to 7.0 again.
Thanks
MichaelHi Josue,
yes I tried Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Still same issue. And I was talking about the section edit (as you can see in the screencast). The others that you tested in your screencast (textblock) work. It´s only for the section. Please see in the screencast and/or refer to the testpage I mentioned.
By the way: Your screencast requires Flash player which is really odd :-(
Sure. There is a page in draft mode called “Test”. It has only a section but there you can see the problem.
Hey Josue,
such a simple trick and it works like a charm. Fantastic!
Cheers
MichaelAwesome. Works perfect.
Hi Ismael,
that worked but of course the translation will be overwritten, when I update the theme. Can I add the /lang/ folder to my child theme?
Cheers
MichaelI´m going to check with the customer
I already recognized that I can use the Themeforest program to promote Enfold.
OK. Thanks
The setting for the blog style is set to “use advanced layout editor…”. That works for the blogpage but NOT for the archives.
Yepp. Works. Thanks.
