Oh okay thank you… do you recommend that plugin over the official one?

I am so weary of plugins now, because small issues in them can make Google bots to decide not crawl/index my pages, and it takes long time to fix it. I have another open case with you, which is also related with Google bots. I haven’t been able to fix it yet, though I did what you guys suggested. I don’t want to take any risks right now by chanting the plugin unless I am 100% sure it won’t cause Google problem. Current AMP pages are indexed by Google.

Back to AMP….when I started using the AMP plugin, my pages on the mobile phone were completely inaccessible. But it’s now just the matter of missing full slider, so I can live with it. It’s not pretty, but is better than losing ranking on Google.

I will wait until you recommend AMP for WP over the official one. Thanks for your help!

I think I was able to update the file. It shows exactly as you wrote.
I tested the page again, but it’s still showing the same issue. Maybe I should wait a little bit. Please keep this open for now, and I will get back to you on the result.

So overall do you recommend continued use of Avia layout builder?

I will do it next time, but it doesn’t really address the problem I have right now. Google coverage is the lowest right now. Sigh….anyway you can close this case now.

Thanks, How do I activate it from the main page? I went to Theme Options > Select Your Editor and selected WP Classic Editor.
The problem persists. The layout builder used to be above the actual editing area, but it shows below it now, with a weird look. (tabs disappeared, but elements are there. You cannot select them though)

Thanks so much! I checked my site, it’s faster and many error messages are gone. Many pages are indexable again by Google bots.
I deleted the file in enfold-old (couldn’t figure out how to delete the folder itself…any idea?)

Then I realized one thing. Google Analytics stopped tracking my site. I went to Theme Options, under which I used to be able to find “Google Services”…but it’s gone. Do you have any idea why? Can I still add Analytics tracking ID to my site? Thanks!

OK, I desactivated the plug in for now. In terms of updating the software, is this how I do?

Go to Envato market and download Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme, “all files and documentation”? which is this:
themeforest-0PyckEOa-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme.zip
There’s no way I can confirm that it’s V4.2, but it should be okay right? (Date modified is showing 2/10/2020)

Upload the zip file to public_html > wp-content>themes>enfold
Then I re-name the old file. Or, do I re-name my current enfold folder first, before I upload the new one? I am not savvy so I want to make sure my website won’t be down for too long.

Sorry for that! I tried to do it and created another problem. I was just trying to look through appearance> custom ccs to find where to add the code. I think I haven’t changed anything yet, unless I accidentally did so, but this error message is now appearing, and I cannot modify my page.
How do I fix this? Again, I am not savvy so beginner-level explanation will be appreciated.

I added the code mentioned in the thread to Enfold>Google services>Google analytics tracking code (there is a box).

Then I went to Pinterest widget buidler page

Followed the instruction and generated a code like this.

I embed it in my post using a text box (just like a regular text)

But then, I couldn’t figure this out…it’s at the bottom of the Pinterest widget builder page.

So I went to my web host’s file manager, public_html folder, theme>enfold>ccs
and looked in shortcords.ccs, layour.ccs, and custom.ccs.

I couldn’t find the strings you showed me…where could i find it? Am I looking at the wrong places???

I am not very familiar with CCS, so beginner-level explanation appreciated!
