I have reinstalled latest WordPress twice, but this did no solve the issue.
I have latest enfold theme version.
With server is all ok.So still searching for the reason of this problem – it is not only greyed out but also not uploading at all, but it is shown under Media as if it would have been uplodaded (with all media details, even the URL to the image/pdf is available, but that cannot been found).
If anyone can help with this, this would be much appreciated.

Hi,
yes, you are allowed to temporarily deactivate plugins for such purposes. If this is affecting the “live site/appearance”, you may also use the maintenance plugin to activate temporarily the maintenance mode.

I still have a question. Looking at the code, I suspect that I have to adapt the max-width when I make changes to the menu header like removing or adding menu items (making the menu shorter or longer), is that correct?

I had added it to the parent theme cause you just wrote “under Enfold”, so I suspected that this relates to the parent theme.So, now I have removed the code from the parent theme and added it to the child theme. This seems to have solved it, now the 3-line-menu-symbol starts to appear much earlier, before any overlapping can occur.

first I have deactivated all plugins and uploaded two images, still the same problem. Then I have activated parent Enfold theme (with plugins still deactivated) and tried again to upload two images, still the same problem.
So I changed back to child theme and activated the plugins again.Thank you for your further help. How can this problem be solved?

I activated Enfold parent theme, added the code there as instructed, and then activated the child theme again.

I have updated the parent theme hoping that this will solve the remaining issues, but it did not. I am using a child theme.
There is a problem with media upload, after the upload the thumbnail is not shown, instead just a light grey. And when I try to add the images to a page, then the image cannot be seen/loaded. ( I tried both jpg and pdf).
Also I got a database connection error (wp-config.php) after making some changes, but database name, user and password are correct.
Please let me know if you need any further information.

I finally saw that the Submenu is the Top Bar menu, so yes there is a menu position for it. I thought before that the Submenu is something else, and had not associated it with the Top Bar menu.

The Site is not public yet, so yes on maintenance mode. But the server is up and running, I have never had any issues, I could and still can login at any time.

thank you so much for your help. this worked perfectly.I am using WPML plugin to switch languages. Now I have the problem that the “default Woocommerce gallery” is not applied when switching from the Main Language (German) to the Translation Language (ENGLISH).
It looks like the German Page (main language) uses the “default 3.0 woocommerce gallery” and the English Page still uses the “Standard Enfold Product Gallery”. But the the English Site should also use the “default 3.0 woocommerce gallery” so that variation pictures of a variable product are changing.Can you assist with this? Thank you.
Hello, I am trying to remove several information that is shown above the related products thumbnail
1. Tax rate
I was able to remove the “incl. VAT” information with the following code (in Quick CSS of my Child Theme > General Styling).related.products .woocommerce-de_price_taxrate {

}I want to also remove the following information shown on top of the related products thumbnail picture
2. “plus shipping”
3. “Delivery Time: approx. 3-4 workdays”
4. The information from the “Hinweis für Versand in Nicht-EU-Länder”-field that is from the GermanMarkte Plugin (WooCommerce > GermanMarket > Products and then under the products tab it is the first field where text can be added, the English translation of the default text is something like this: “By delivery in non-EU countries additional country-specific import duties, taxes and fees can result.”)Could you please let me know what the codes are to also remove these 3

I understand that certain things cannot be part of your support.However, to better understand, so an additional script is needed when the Add To Cart button shall be part of the information showing on hover (in addition to title and price), is that correct?
What if showing the Add to Cart button just below the thumbnail picture? This should be possible without an additional script, correct? I looked at the following threat https://kriesi.at/support/topic/add-add-to-cart-button-in-product-grid-product-slider/ and added the codeadd_action( ‘woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item_title’, ‘woocommerce_template_loop_add_to_cart’, 10 );
to the functions.php file of the active child theme. But nothing changed.

thanks for your reply. I looked at the link that you provided. There are two more links, under the first one, I could not identify the solution to this (but I am not sure if the shortcodes might be the solution or not), the second link leads to a 404 error page.So to further explain what I need to achieve: I want to add the “add to cart” button to each product that is shown on a “products overview page”, I mean on a page where e.g. all products of one category are shown with a thumbnail picture. I want to apply it to all products, not only to one category.
