    I’m too late to edit my last post or else I would. Sorry for the multiple posts in different threads. This problem is resolved by the newest version of the aviaslider script.

    Has the version been updated in codecanyon? I purchased in codecanyon and it looks like maybe it’s still the older version? In any case, my slider is not working in ie9.

    Nevermind! Sorry! I thought I had compared versions, but somehow I didn’t. Uploaded new version and it’s working fine in ie9 now.


    Well I hate to say it, but this actually is still an issue. I just finished uninstalling ie9 and then the slider worked fine in ie8. Then I reinstalled ie9 again and we’re back to the same issue.

    I’m going to start another thread that clarifies that the issue is specific to ie9 only.

    Nevermind. Sorry for the multiple posts in other threads. Trying to cover my tracks by updating each. This problem is resolved with the newest version of the script and the one at is the newest one as well.


    Thanks for your help Dude. I changed that and I’m still having an issue. I have made some progress on it, but still not sure what the solution is.

    I have been able to determine that the issue centers around the document mode….

    Okay, in the midst of writing this reply I did some more testing and have been able to verify that it IS WORKING. :)

    The problem appears to have been with IE fiercely holding onto its cached items or something. After I reset IE to factory defaults then the slider worked.

    estuivenber or Dude – Will you please share what the solution was to the issue? I’m having the same issue. I’ve opened up another thread for this, but I haven’t gotten any response from anyone.


    I was really hoping for a reply by now. It’s been 4 days.

    This came with a theme and I went ahead and purchased through your site specifically so I could get support. Is there any way I can escalate this?
