Hi Dude,
thank you so much for your help. Awesome, that is working fine :-) ! Just one thing: Can you please remove the link with my URL in the brackets in your a/m thread? Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,

SophieJune 8, 2018 at 8:34 am in reply to: Google web fonts still loading despite Custom Font Manager #970002Hi Vinay,
thank you so much for your detailed information.
1. Okay, I loaded each font weight of my requested font Lato separately, even though I loaded a zip file with all font weights in one zip file before. It seems to work, but I wonder why the local fonts do look different than Google fonts. For example, bold is not bold (it’s kind of “light bold”), even though I loaded Lato 700. Do you have any idea what is happening here?
2. That’s what I tried, but in blockquote in Enfold > Advanced Styling it is only possible to change font color, border color, font size and line space. No font family can be added. Same with p style.
3. The icons I need for my recipes are „check“ for marking the ingredients and recipe steps and “print” for printing the recipe (please find in private content box a link to my website where you can see print button and check marks) and these icons are already included in Enfold theme. So, do you mean by “Disable the “font-awesome” script by removing the first line inside the brackets” to disable like as follows? I am not quite sure how to do :o( :
function enfold_child_custom_script() { wp_enqueue_style( 'font-awesome', array(), 1.0); wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-main-child', get_stylesheet_directory_uri().'/js/main.js', array('jquery', 'avia-default'), 2, true ); } add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'enfold_child_custom_script', 100 );
Thank you so much for your kind help in advance.
Wish for you a good day!

SophieJune 7, 2018 at 8:20 pm in reply to: Translation of error box message | privacy policy message in comment form #969767Hi Jordan,
thanks for your help. I created an \includes\helper-privacy.php file in Enfold child theme and changed the code as per the a/m, but that does not work. It only works in Enfold parent theme.
Any idea how to solve in child theme? Thank you in advance.

thank you for sharing. It works fine on my end as well! Wished there would have been provided a documentation on the Enfold documentation website. Would have saved lot of time.
Dear Enfold team, you can close this topic now. Thank you.

yes, it’s from Enfold 4.4.

SophieJune 3, 2018 at 8:44 pm in reply to: Google web fonts still loading despite Custom Font Manager #966239Hi,
I just found out that in advanced settings of Theme settings I have not changed the body font to my local font, so it’s working now. But I just saw that the font Lato regular and lighter are displaying same way, even though I imported them via custom font manager. But I need to have the lighter one. Can you help?
Also, how can I make the p style <p style=”font-size: 26px; font-family: ‘Chelsea Market’;”>example text</p> and my blockquote styling CSS blockquote { font-family: Chelsea Market;} load my local font? Currently it is still loading from Google server https://fonts.gstatic.com.
Furthermore I am using the following code for enabling the header scroll effect on mobile devices that I got from your support forum and for loading font awesome for my recipes. This is loading 2 icons (print and check mark) from maxcdn.bootstrapd. Can you help and tell how to load these both icons from Enfold or rather from my local server to reach GDPR compliance:
function enfold_child_custom_script() { wp_enqueue_style( 'font-awesome', 'https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css', array(), 1.0); wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-main-child', get_stylesheet_directory_uri().'/js/main.js', array('jquery', 'avia-default'), 2, true ); } add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'enfold_child_custom_script', 100 );
Really hope you can help. Thank you so much for your kind efforts in advance.

SophieMay 11, 2018 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Problems with icons, buttons and separators after Enfold update #955343Hi Victoria,
thank you for removing the screenshot. Yes, I used several devices for checking the display of font Chelsea Market:
1. On iPad and iPhone it works properly on Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
2. On MacBook Pro it works properly on Firefox and Chrome, but NOT on Safari.
3. On desktop PC and on Windows 7 laptop it works properly on Firefox and Chrome, but NOT on Internet Explorer. It’s kind of weird and I don’t know how to solve. Any idea from your side? Thank you in advance.
Kind reagrds,
SophieHi Ismael,
okay, thank you for the explanation. You can close this topic now :o) .
Kind regards,
SophieHi Ismael,
hmmm but that would mean I need to create a recipe via Standard Editor first, switch to text mode for copying the recipe shortcode, then switch to ALB for adding a text or code block element and finally for adding the recipe shortcode in there? I think that would mean a lot of work for creating recipe pots :o( .
If this would be the only way, then I need to add recipes via Standard Editor like before, I guess, and you could close this topic.
Thank you so much for all your efforts, Ismael. Really do appreciate your always kind support.

SophieMay 10, 2018 at 4:06 pm in reply to: Problems with icons, buttons and separators after Enfold update #954631Hi Victoria,
thank you for your reply. That is quite strange. I think I will wait until you will include custom font uploader to the theme (as per Yigit) so I will be able to serve fonts from my own server and this issue may be solved then.
Also, can you please remove the screenshot from your a/m post? It’s private and the URL is a test URL only! Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
SophieHi Basilis,
cool, thank you, I knew it must be that easy ;o) . The last time I disabled the Event plugin from the plugins, I had a blank website and had to deploy a backup. Don’t know what went wrong back then, but it works now :o) .
Thank you, Basilis, you can close this topic now.
Kind regards,
SophieHi Ismael,
sorry if I expressed myself unclearly. In Standard Editor there is a button for WP Recipe Maker plugin. By clicking on this button I am able to insert a new recipe etc. When using ALB there is no such button. Please kindly see screenshots in private content box.
Hope you understand better now what I mean. Thank you for all your efforts in advance.
Kind regards,
SophieHi Ismael,
thank you so much for the code. I asked the plugin author and was told to use the custom post type wprm_recipe which I added to your above code for putting it to functions. But, how can I use a recipe in a post with ALB now? I mean where to add in an ALB post?
Thank you for all your efforts in advance. Really do appreciate that!

SophieMay 5, 2018 at 2:40 pm in reply to: Problems with icons, buttons and separators after Enfold update #952118Hi Vinay,
thank you very much for your kind efforts.
Yes, that’s what I meant. The font “Chelsea Market” is not working in the sidebar and blockquote when using browser Safari (on MacBook only, on iPhone and iPad it is curiously working properly) and Internet Explorer, but on Chrome and Firefox the font “Chelsea Market” is displaying properly.
Can you explain why this is happening? Thank you for your kind help in advance.
Best regards,
SophieHi Mike,
I tested it. When saving a pin and having picked my requested board, it is really showing up in the board I selected. So it still seems to work. Thank you so much for your explanation and for figuring it out, Mike!
I think you can close this topic out now :o) .
Thanks again and kind regards,
SophieMay 2, 2018 at 10:19 pm in reply to: Disabling Google Fonts and loading them from own server instead #950338Hi Guenni007,
Hi LarryLayouter,
Hi Enfold team, same with me. I did it as per Guenni007’s manual and still there is a connection to fonts.gstatic.com. I think there really should be an easier way to disable the Google Fonts via Enfold options like LarryLayouter noted.
Any solution on how to solve this? Really appreciate all your efforts and help. Thank you.
Kind regards,
SophieApril 30, 2018 at 5:03 pm in reply to: Disabling Google Fonts and loading them from own server instead #949122Hi Guenni007,
thank you for your message. I already found this topic with your link https://kriesi.at/support/topic/disable-google-font-loading-via-google/, but I found this not helpful for me since I do not want to use another plugin (having the privacy policy in mind). Also, my a/m solution is supposed to work. Any idea?
Thank you for all your kind help in advance.
Kind regards,
SophieHi Mike,
thank you for your message. I tested it on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer on a Windows 7 Laptop of a friend of mine who never called up my website URL so far, so the cache was clear, but none of the browsers are showing up any image.
I just tested again: In Chrome – for example – thee is a small indication error icon instead of the image to be shared. When right-clicking on this icon, copying the image address and opening it in a new Chrome window, it seems to “reload” the image and it is displaying in the Pinterest Pin it window properly. But, when right-clicking on the icon and choosing “Opening image in a new tab”, it shows 403 error: Forbidden / You do not have permission to access this document. I think that may be the issue?
That’s kind of spooky :-( . Don’t know how to solve this issue. Can you explain what is happening here?
Kind regards,
SophieApril 27, 2018 at 2:49 pm in reply to: Problems with icons, buttons and separators after Enfold update #947984Hi Vinay,
no, I am using the font “Lato” via Enfold Theme Options > General Settings > Fonts > Heading font / Defines the Font for your body text. I added the google fonts to functions.php as per your instruction https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/register-additional-google-fonts-for-theme-options/:
add_filter( 'avf_google_heading_font', 'avia_add_heading_font'); function avia_add_heading_font($fonts) { $fonts['Chelsea Market'] = 'Chelsea Market'; $fonts['Amatic SC'] = 'Amatic SC:400,700'; return $fonts; } add_filter( 'avf_google_content_font', 'avia_add_content_font'); function avia_add_content_font($fonts) { $fonts['Chelsea Market'] = 'Chelsea Market'; $fonts['Amatic SC'] = 'Amatic SC:400,700'; return $fonts; }
But the font “Chelsea Market” is not working in the sidebar and blockquote when using browser Safari (on MacBook only, on iPhone and iPad it is couriously working) and Internet Explorer, but on Chrome and Firefox the font “Chelsea Market” is displaying properly.
Even if I use a device that has never called up my website and thus with cleared cache, it is not displaying the font “Chelsea Market” in the browsers Safari (MacBook only) and IE.
That’s quite spooky, isn’t it? Is this something you can help me with?
Thank you for all your efforts in advance.
Kind regards,
SophieHi Ismael,
thank you so much, that is working fine :-) . Just one small issue: To get in an ALB post a H1 post entry title and small separator like in posts via Standard editor, do I need to add special heading element in H1 with separator element? Also, I am using WP Recipe Maker plugin; it is not displaying when using ALB, but only in Standard editor, can I change that or is it only working when using Standard editor?
I am so happy we could nearly solve it and I am really looking forward to receiving your message for my last 2 issues in this matter.
Thank you so much for all your efforts.
Kind regards,
SophieHi Ismael,
thank you for your message. I tested it on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer on a Windows 7 Laptop of a friend of mine who never opened my website URL, but none of them are showing up any image.
Kind of weird, right?
Kind regards,
SophieApril 24, 2018 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Problems with icons, buttons and separators after Enfold update #945986Hi Basilis,
thank you for your reply. I tested it on a Windows 7 laptop of a friend of mine. On Internet Explorer 11 the Google font is not showing up, but on Firefox and Chrome it does.
It’s kind of strange :-( .
Kind regards,
SophieHi Ismael,
thank you for the CSS. I changed the CSS to different padding left and right:
.related_posts { border-top: 0; padding: 23px 0px 33px 0px; }
Nearly got it: This works for ALB-posts with ”You might also like” shortcode, but on posts with Standard Editor the a/m CSS puts the related entries container to the outermost right margin with nearly no whitespace to the right sidebar. Please kindly see the links in the private content box.
Maybe it’s just a small issue to be found, but I cannot find out :o( . Maybe you can be of help for me? Thank you so much for all your kind efforts.
Best regards,
SophieHi Ismael,
please kindly find the link to the post and a screenshot how it looks e.g. in Chrome in the private content box. Somehow the image to be shared is not displaying.
Really do appreciate all your help.
Kind regards,
SophieApril 22, 2018 at 7:40 pm in reply to: Problems with icons, buttons and separators after Enfold update #945110Hi Basilis,
I cleared the cache, same problem. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. In Safari on iPad and iPhone it is working properly. If you should have any idea, I really would appreciate. If not, I would leave it like it is, even if it’s not that nice :-(.
Thank you for all your efforts.
Best regards,
