Hi Victoria,
I’ve always had that rule on my robots.txt.
I set it when I had another theme and no theme folders were indexed on Google.
Why do I see it now although I didn’t change my robots rule???
Hi Victoria,
I read the article, but it is not what I’m looking for.
I can see pages like this indexed on Google:
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/images/layout/
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/images/icons
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/js/
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/images/colorpicker/
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/avia_shortcodes/
Index of /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/and more and more… It is not good to have all these pages indexed. Never happened to me.
Please check out my website putting on Google search site:website.com (in private content) from page 11.
Should I change my robots.txt file on Google Webmaster Tools? What should I put in robots.txt in therms of code?
Thanks,
MariaFebruary 9, 2017 at 6:10 pm in reply to: Thumbnail size in featured blog post is not correct #744954It works Yigit!!!!
You rock, as always :-)
February 9, 2017 at 5:46 pm in reply to: Thumbnail size in featured blog post is not correct #744921Ciao Yigit!
I downloaded another plugin called “regenerate thumbnails”, then I clicked on media library, I found the image and I clicked regenerate thumbnail for that image. This is how it worked on the homepage…but do I have to do this way for each image I will upload in the future?
Now I see that feature images have different sizes when I click the category. I’m putting the link in the private content. Does it depend on the pictures sizes or is it an issue for changing the theme?
February 8, 2017 at 8:49 pm in reply to: Thumbnail size in featured blog post is not correct #744485Ciao Yigit!
Should I change only the thumbnail images size? Cause I tried it but the plugin says they are already resized.
Hahaha you chose an unusual destination for your monument! ;-)
Thank you for all Yigit!
Regards,
MariaAwwww thank you sooo much Yigit!!!!!! People should build a monument for you lol ;-)
Now I think you can close this topic. JUst one question, when I bought Enfold theme the support was for 6 months only. If I need some help after 6 months what happens? Eventually can I buy other 6 months (if I need) or not?
Ok, everything is in the private content!
January 24, 2017 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Mailchimp pop-up newsletter doesn't work in any way #737858Hi Basilis!
I solved with a plugin, it’s the only thing which works now. Hope you can find a solution without plugins in the future!
Regards,
MariaNope Yigit, it doesn’t work!
What do you need?
Ciao Yigit!! :-)
I tried your code but it shows 3 same images as header…not good, people don’t want to see 3 images of myself lol
So I chose not to show fullwidth slider image at the moment. Never tried with layerslide. I will try it this evening in my test website and I will let you know.
I see that my header image, while it looks perfect in Mozilla, is cropped in Internet Explorer and Chrome. Check it out here in Chrome > http://imgur.com/a/9yUSN !!!! Should not it look right on all browsers?? How can I fix it???
Regards,
MariaHi Yigit!!!
Yes, of course. Here is the link: http://imgur.com/a/H0uVl
It happens on ipad and also on iphone only if I choose to show my fullwidth slider image, otherwise I use your code to hide the element and it works great. As you can see, the image appears to be super big. Beige part is the top left side of my image.Yes! After I tested tons of plugins for popup newsletter (lol) I chose a free plugin which looks nice and it is closer to my idea of popup, do you agree? Optinmonster was my first choice but it costs a lot to me. In the meantime, I wait for Enfold team to find a solution for newsletter popup without plugins. I am not a fan of plugins :-)
January 20, 2017 at 9:57 pm in reply to: Mailchimp pop-up newsletter doesn't work in any way #736653Ok Yigit, I will try a plugin :-)
Thank you always!
You rock Yigit! :-)
And If I want to display my image inside the fullwidth slider what code should I use? Cause now it looks so grainy on my mobile/ipad (it results to be super big)!
January 20, 2017 at 8:27 pm in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #736635Done, I installed a previous version of the plugin while I wait for the update with no bugs.
You can close this topic!
Thank you soooo much :-)
IHey Yigit,
it didn’t work! I found this code to hide fullscreen slider image, but it only work on mobile (I copied into the quick css):
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
#fullscreen_slider_0 { display: none;}
}do you have a code which works on ipad too, please?
January 20, 2017 at 1:55 pm in reply to: Posts issues (advanced layer editor) switching from a previous theme to Enfold #736463I’m so happy Yigit! Code works and now that images are center aligned, also the text is shown properly! :-)
Thank you!
January 20, 2017 at 11:23 am in reply to: Posts issues (advanced layer editor) switching from a previous theme to Enfold #736351Now pages load Yogit, so you can check out my issues. I will give a link in private content so you can have a look.
1. Formatting issues with some words as you can see in the article.
2. Ok
3. I didn’t refer to featured image but to images inside the posts. Although they are set to stay center aligned they always go on the left. Only those who are linked (with a link to other websites) stay in the center.
4. Ok
Best regards,
Maria
January 20, 2017 at 11:13 am in reply to: Mailchimp pop-up newsletter doesn't work in any way #736348I don’t understand Yigit. Maybe should I use a do_shortcode??
I created a customized Mailchimp popup (when people entered my site it appeared after 5 seconds). It worked when I have another template.
This is the code:
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.js” data-dojo-config=”usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false”></script><script type=”text/javascript”>require([“mojo/signup-forms/Loader”], function(L) { L.start({“baseUrl”:”mc.us3.list-manage.com”,”uuid”:”d5b3425b350d1ef6fe0f642d1″,”lid”:”9285fb910b”}) })</script>
what can I do?
thanks
ok, no issues with the logo.
BUT
1. Full width screen slider image is not shown properly on Internet Explorer and Chrome, it is good on Mozilla
2. Full width screen slider image is not shown properly on mobile and tablet.
Hope you can help :-)
Regards,
MariaOk, it works!!!
Thank you so much Yigit :-)
January 20, 2017 at 12:42 am in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #736143Ok Yigit,
it is happening to many users after the latest update of w3 total cache. It looks the issue is occurring with with PHP version 5.3.29.
Some users solved disabling the Page Cache or gzip compression in the Browser Cache settings, but the site has slowed down.
Maybe it can help other users.
Now what happens if I upload via FTP a previous version of w3 total cache?
and is Super Cache compatible with Enfold Theme?
Thank you so much for your eternal patience :-)
Ill will reply to my other threads when I solve this issue!
January 19, 2017 at 11:56 pm in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #736132Hi Yigit!
Thank you! Is Super cache compatible with your theme?
Do you have the right configuration of w3 total cache? Can it depend on a wrong configuration?
January 19, 2017 at 8:58 pm in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #736092Now it works Yigit!!! Let me know it it also works for you!
What can I do with w3 total cache?? It is unistalled now althoug I didn’t manage to clean htaccess file and wp-config…I don’t know why
January 19, 2017 at 8:52 pm in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #736087If you need wp admin password, let me know cause I changed it!
January 19, 2017 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #736086I have finished to delete w3 total cache but nothing changes :-( I’m exhausted! How can I solve?
January 19, 2017 at 8:49 pm in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #736083Yigit I found the issue!! Now my website is blank again :-(
The issue of weird symbols is given by the latest update of w3 total cache. Maybe there is an incompatibility with the theme.
I was trying to upload my previous version of w3 total cache but everything is blank and I cannot enter admin panel.
I’m deleting w3 total cache (still waiting) and all files generated by it. What did you do then? Do I have to copy my previous w3 total cache folder, htaccess and wp-config again via FTP?
January 19, 2017 at 10:10 am in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #735764Looks like everything is working now Yigit, can you confirm it? Or is it happening only to me? Cannot believe it…It could be a miracle…
I have many other things to fix but I will take some time to rest cause I didn’t go bed tonight to try to solve this issue :-(
I deleted some plugins like Mailchimp and social media sharing, I uploaded enfold theme again, cause avia gave me some troubles when I deactivated and reactivated the plugins (formatting disappeared). At the moment I don’t see any weird symbols.
Just let me know if it works, please.
January 19, 2017 at 9:05 am in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #735742Yigit, I really need your help. I decided to delete everything cause I didn’t remember w3 total cache configuration, but after working all night, when I uploaded all files via FTP and activated the plugins my website crashed. No customization and looks avia builder doesn’t work anymore.
Only you can help me! Never had all these issues!
January 18, 2017 at 8:19 pm in reply to: Weird symbols when I click some pages of my website #735512Ok, I deactivated all my plugins and looks like I don’t see any symbols! But I have a strange bug. In the page of posts, when I click the category under the title I am redirect to the homepage of my website and not to the category. Then. while my home page was Home-Travellector, now it is Travellector ! Travel tips for personality types which is the headline of the previous theme! I’m getting crazy…
What do I have to do now Yigit? Please, be patient, don’t hate me…:-)
