Hmm… I can see it runs with 4.0.5, but even when I check manually, it says I’m running the latest version. So how can I update without erasing the entire site?
Yeah, I tried to check, but I might have done something wrong. I’m not used to copy text out of the debug mode :-)

I’ve tried, what you suggested, but I cannot get it to work. When I paste the shortcodes into the caption area, I see the text from the shortcodes and no the buttons.
Also, I fail to see how I can place the 4 buttons – when that work – in the right hand part of the slider without affecting the title in the center of the slider?

Now, I’ve made two buttons. However, I would like to have 4, and I’d like to be able to make the upper line of text bigger than the one below. Is that possible?
Also, I’d like the buttons placed on the right, above each other:-)

Actually, if I try to open the media library from the wp menu on the left, I cannot open it. I just get an empty page???
Thanks for looking into it, but I still can’t upload. Would you mind trying to upload an image to the box on the frontpage with the missing image? When I try to do that, I get the screen with “Choose files”, but when I press the button, nothing happens??
If that also works fine for you, the problem must be at my end, though I have absolutely no clue as to what could have caused it…
Okay, the status now is that Iøve got the header widget working. So far, so good, Now, I only have to styling issues eft:
1. How can I make the padding of the image in the header widget smaller? I’ve tried this CSS, but it doesn’t seem to work:
.header .widget {
padding: 5px 0 !important;
}And also: I’d like a frame aroung the image. I’ve used this code om other images, but it won’t work on the image in the header widget. How should I change it?

The image is 1000 X 462 px.
I’m guessing that since the header height only can be set to 300 px, it’s scaling the image down itself and therefore doesn’t show it in full size. Could that be the reason? And if so, is there a way around it? I tried using the header widget to make sure the image could be shown in full size, but as I mentioned in my first mail, I couldn’t get it to work??

Actually, I just discovered that the header image still isn’t showing – it’s the logo image, that shows on the page now. This is actually just fine, only I’d like the image logo to be bigger, like 900 x 450 px or something like that :-)
Is that possible at all?

I deactivated the Jetpack plugin, and that seems to be doing the trick. However, I can’t get the image in the header widget to be shown in it’s full size. Any tricks for this as well?Best,

Actually, right now the image and the menu is not a part of the header, but is made with the avia layout builder on every page. This means, that when you open a blog post, theres no heading or menu at all. I’ve already tried making a header widget with the tutorial, you sent me, but couldn’t make it work on this particular site.
But I’ll give it another go – otherwise I’ll get back to you!

Yes, I couldn’t get the debug thing to work, bit in several support threads there was a link to this plugin that does basically the same.- and it works perfectly.
However, my problem with the logo grid not updating links (and sometimes images) is still not fixed. It was a problem before I installed the repeatable plugin and it still is.

M.I’ve solved the other problem, but this is still not working. I can ad new images, but the links won’t update?
… But that’s exactly what I’ve done to begin with: I made the element on the page, then used the magic wand to get the shortcode and then placed the shortcode in the footer. What should I do differently?
Maybe not… I just chose the shortcode from the magic wand in the default editor and since I had already made a partner/logo element on the page, I figured it would just take the information from that one. But appearently not :-) So how do I go about that?

Now, none of my uploaded videos are working. no matter if I use the video insert or one of the sliders. Is that the WordPress 4.9 as well?

Well, it was kinda hard to explain :-)
If you take a look at the slider in top of the frontpage – slide 2 for instance – I want the background for the header text on the slider to align with the background for the text below (3 bulletpoints).
