February 27, 2017 at 7:40 pm in reply to: Disable header site wide but keep extra elements bar? #752441That created a weird effect on an interior page (see attached)?
February 27, 2017 at 7:12 pm in reply to: Disable header site wide but keep extra elements bar? #752433Thanks Yigit – now I see an misalignment with the top bar and the body of the page (I have the width set to boxed / 1130px)?
See attached (private). I have so much text to the right of the logo that I’m thinking it’s easier to forgo the header and build it in as a responsive element on each page.
Thanks!
I’m working on the site now, but you can use the provided information to remove the custom css to perform your tests. Appearance > Edtor
Thanks!
50 and counting… I have a few upcoming projects :) Thank you, I will reach out directly to Envato.
January 23, 2017 at 8:32 pm in reply to: Different sort order for posts depending upon browser #737413OK – instead of making sure the user clears cache, I’ve prevented this page from caching using W3 Total Cache and it seems to be working. Please close.
January 23, 2017 at 8:29 pm in reply to: Different sort order for posts depending upon browser #737412No, of course this is the first thing I try. I made a video showing you how it loads in Chrome and how it loads in FireFox as an example. I show you that I am clearing the cache in the FF example to no avail.
January 17, 2017 at 4:46 pm in reply to: Enfold – previous and next product-page arrows on posts to navigate to products #734802Awesome, this seems to be working! Thx
January 11, 2017 at 6:02 pm in reply to: Enfold – previous and next product-page arrows on posts to navigate to products #732181Is this possible to do within the child theme framework? I tried adding…
function avia_post_nav($same_category = true)
… to my functions.php file and it caused a fatal error. So I went back to this post and see it says to edit the “functions-enfold.php” which I assume is not the functions.php file in the child theme. Interested to know how I too can restrict Next and Previous to one category.
I’ll also add this to the functionality request, it seems unlikely anyone would want to cruise through multiple Post categories.
Thank you
Ugh – thank you!
Here you go
That’s the purpose of this whole thread – that is not working. It only works when I put the code in the Quick CSS.
Yes, it works in the quick CSS. Is there any way i can have this within the child theme CSS (where I declare all my other CSS edits)?
Thanks!
Very odd, no luck on my end. You can see the link and view the CSS in the source and see that I have this in place, but it’s not working.
Entered _ i had tried this code several times from viewing other threads. I still see the line on Firefox and Chrome – even when I clear cache and reload?
November 7, 2016 at 4:27 pm in reply to: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'match' of undefined #709348Yes, I recreated the page and we’re all set now. I’ve not seen this in 10+ years using WP. Thank you.
November 5, 2016 at 5:27 pm in reply to: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'match' of undefined #708712Done. I’ve never seen a corrupt page before. Why would this happen?
Thank you.
November 4, 2016 at 11:18 pm in reply to: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'match' of undefined #708465Hi Vinay,
The problem only occurs on this one page (the home page). In regards to your response, I would’ve expected you to read my ticket which explains that I have done everything in steps 1-4. Try editing the front page – just try looking at the front page and note the odd behavior. Note that it does not happen on any other pages.Thank you
November 4, 2016 at 7:10 pm in reply to: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'match' of undefined #708390I wanted to share additional findings. The visual editor itself is acting oddly. The grid row measurements are off (attached) and when I try to create a new grid row to repopulate with contents from the old grid row, strange boxes pop-up. I went through the process of creating a template / backup called home bak. Then I tried to create a new grid row and drag the other elements into place but I saw the ghosting. No matter I kept on because I could still see the elements behind the ‘ghost’ boxes’ but when I saved the grid row element was empty. Glad I had the home bak template.
Thank you!
Hi Vinay, I’m the one who would do it, but the template I try to edit is causing a 500 error and so we’ve found an alternative solution. BTW, the plugin does something different than what we described or are looking for, but might help someone else who stumbles across this thread.
Thank you
Yes, I think it’s OK the way I have it now. I worked on it for a bit while waiting to hear back and think I figured it out.
Thank you
I set it back to the way you suggested, it just wasn’t working so I played with it. The padding on the link I provided is what I’m after.
Hm – still no luck and I tried combinations of what you suggested, with and without !important, declared values, etc.
That fixed whatever issue the initial code…
@media only screen and (min-width: 767px) { #main .container { padding: 0; }} div .av_one_fifth { width: 16.7%; }
… created.
Thank you
Awesome – that did it. Thanks Yigit!
Hi Ismael – over the last 11 days since I opened the ticket, I made changes to fix the issues. That Enfold didn’t like the CSS I was using with the pre 3.6 version troubles me. I figured out how to make it work, but unexpected results after updates isn’t ideal for anyone.
That’s it! Thank you – I will have to look closely to see what was missed, much appreciated :)
