    Hi Victoria,

    I managed to fix the issue, I had updated the enfold theme to the latest version but not updated the header.php that was in my child theme.

    Kind regards,

    Luke

    Thank you for the reply Kriesi,

    It all sounds amazing and its great to hear that you are in active development and have big plans to improve and expand ENFOLD. Might I suggest a couple of points.

    1) Emails – Send us a newsletter a couple of times a year and keep us informed. It sounds like you have loads planned and want to improve ENFOLD is every possible way. Drop us an email from time to time and let us know!
    2) Facebook – I am already a follower of the Facebook page yet a handful of posts last year just doesn’t cut it. I use a theme called Flatsome for my ecommerce websites and they use a private facebook group instead of a support forum, it makes it much easier for users to get support from other flatsome users and their moderators are very active on Facebook throughout the day. They also have a private beta testing group that allows more dedicated users to help install the latest updates and run some tests.

    I honesty think Facebook is the best way forward, with Enfold I find I only visit the forums when I need help with something, where as I am active in the flatsome group because I use facebook throughout the day, I often drop replies and help into flatsome posts simply because they appear in my News feed. Overall support could be improved, workload on your staff could be reduced and it brings the community together better. Also you could add the odd gif showing new features that keeps everyone happy!

    Glad to hear from you and please keep up the fantastic work you do.

    Luke

    To further my reply:

    https://ultimate.brainstormforce.com/dual-button/ – this feature is already being used on Kriesi.at homepage – it can’t be that hard for it to be implemented? This is a clear example of small features being added that can make a huge difference to a theme in my opinion.

    Just some examples of things that could be implemented that will really expand on the type of designs that can be built using ENFOLD.

    Thank you Yigit,

    My only suggestion would be to add more options, a clear example of this would be to expand the number of animations that can be applied to a column/image.

    I think being cautious about bloating ENFOLD is a wrong move, taking this approach is what leads to enfold becoming less feature-rich than other more popular themes. tabs are a great way that is already being used to add more customisations to elements without everything being cluttered.

    I am sure you are all doing a fantastic job and I look forward to what is in store for the future.

    Also, I see that many themes such as Visual Composer, Elementor and Beaver Builder have made it so other advanced users can make packs that attached to the main theme.
    https://codecanyon.net/item/ultimate-addons-for-visual-composer/6892199?s_rank=5 – its the 5th best seller for WordPress plugins on Codecanyon.
    Allowing developers to do this might make life easier for you and your time while also allowing advanced users to benefit for additional features in ENFOLD. Pre made sections that can be imported and inserted could also be a good way to allow other developers to add to enfold and make some money.

    Many thanks

    add_action( 'admin_bar_menu', 'toolbar_link_to_mypage', 999 );

    function toolbar_link_to_mypage( $wp_admin_bar ) {
    	$args = array(
    		'id'    => 'insert-media-button',
    		'title' => 'ADD MEDIA',
    		'href'  => '',
    		'meta'  => array( 'class' => 'insert-media add_media' )
    	);
    	$wp_admin_bar->add_node( $args );
    }

    If it doesn’t work for anyone, reply here and ill sort it, my functions.php is loaded with code and I might of missed something.

    Add that to functions.php in your child theme and a “ADD MEDIA” link appears in the admin bar that appears across the top when logged in.

    Thanks I will take a good long look into this.

    How about the Woocommerce Composite Products, how would I change the order of that plugin, do you have any idea how I could use similar code to move that above the reviews?

    I have made that suggestion but it can be quite long winded and they have made the suggestion.

    I honestly thought a slight code change would of allowed the Add Media button to be visable whether in the Advance Layout Editor or not.

    Thank you for your help and suggestions. I really appreciate the support you guys offer.

    in reply to: Linking to Media Library #606663

    Sorry, I wasn’t meaning the button element.

    I simple mean, when using the Adavanced Layout Builder the Add Media button is removed. I simply want a way to show it while using the ALB.

    Thank you.

    in reply to: Linking to Media Library #606042

    I understand that but my clients just want to see the button.

    How can I display the button, I mean the fact you have taken it away baffles me. Enfold is meant to be extremely user friendly but this process is stupid. You have taken away a default wordpress features and not replaced it with anything.

    in reply to: Linking to Media Library #605970

    Why does the Advanced Layout Builder remove the Add Media button? The button is still on the page, just hidden.

    in reply to: Linking to Media Library #605806

    When using Enfold, if I want to add a button to the page and then link the button to a document I have uploaded, the process is as follows:

    Go to Media Library
    Upload a document
    Click the document so I can then copy the direct link
    Edit a page
    Edit a Button
    Add the URL of the document to the button

    The issue is that the people using the website are not technical and this process is very long compared to their previous setup.

    I was thinking about this last night and feel the whole process could be made quicker if the “Add Media” button was accessible when using the avia editor.

    Hey Yigit, I don’t have one for this, I just think it would be cool and a feature others would use!

    Delete the post if I shouldn’t of posted it here.

    in reply to: Adding a Widget area to the header #543332

    Hey Yigit,

    Can you let me know what CSS code I would need to align the widget area to the right side, opposite the logo.

    #header .widget {
    left: 50%;
    padding-top: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    transform: translate(-50%);
    z-index: 999;
    }

    I removed left: 50%; and put right:0; and it goes to the very far right side which looks odd.

    in reply to: jQuery Conflict with Enfold #513857

    Yeah, same issue stands.

    I don’t understand why I cannot use this simple jQuery code without things breaking. Especially when it appears that enfold uses the same version of jQuery as the script I want to use!

    in reply to: jQuery Conflict with Enfold #512747

    http://www.o-mills.co.uk/shop/

    Full width the basket no longer shows the pop-out (contents of the basket and the price etc).

    When on mobiles, I have it setup to show a different style of menu using shortcodes and a plugin I installed.

    The code I added was:

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.1.min.js”></script&gt;
    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    jQuery(document).ready(function() {
    jQuery(“.flip”).click(function() {
    jQuery(“.panel”).slideToggle(“slow”);
    });
    });
    </script>

    <p class=”flip”><span class=”icon”></span><span class=”label”>Menu</span></p>
    <div class=”panel” style=”display: none;”><?php
    echo do_shortcode(‘[accordionmenu id=unique2354174 accordionmenu=33817]’);
    ?>

    It all works perfectly apart from this conflict that stop the pop-out basket appearing on desktops and laptops. Mobile/tablet isn’t an issue because I use display:none to hide them.

    I have searched for alternative ways to implement the jQuery show/hide menu on mobiles but everyone has the same issue.

    in reply to: jQuery Conflict with Enfold #509974

    The issue is with this code conflicting with the pop-out menu for the shopping basket:

    <script>
    $(document).ready(function(){
    $(“.flip”).click(function(){
    $(“.panel”).slideToggle();
    });
    });
    </script>
