Yes, Ismael. I’ve selected the specific widget area in the page’s layout. I’ve been using this theme since 2016 so I’m very familiar with it. The super odd thing is one page it works and it doesn’t work on other pages. The widget areas (one that works and doesn’t) have the same widget content so it doesn’t appear to be conflict with plugins. I looked at the code and I’m not seeing anything there.
Basically, setting the specific widget area in the page is not corresponding. I’m not sure where to look to fix that.I’ve shared a couple images where you can see I have the setting correct and another picture showing it’s not pulling in the correct sidebar.
I’m not sure I could show you this problem. I’ve been using this theme for a very long time and am very comfortable with it, but I don’t know what’s causing this issue. The custom sidebar areas I created aren’t showing up after I’ve assigned them to the page. It’s showing a default widget area. I’ve refreshed every cache I could think of and even on my server at SiteGround. One of the sidebars is working correctly, but it doesn’t have any settings that are different. I’m very confused.
In the enfold child theme settings this is what it says, but it’s not corresponding to this
“Create New Sidebar Widget Areas
The theme supports the creation of custom widget areas. Simply open your Widgets Page and add a new Sidebar Area. Afterwards you can choose to display this Widget Area in the Edit Page Screen.”I don’t check sidebars on this site all the time so I’m not sure when this started happening, but the theme is up to date and so is WordPress.
Let me know what I can show you that might help me track down this issue.
I am having the same issue with my Enfold theme as well. All updated but no options.
