January 20, 2015 at 1:43 am in reply to: Enfold advanced layout button not working and theme options not showing #382225
I’m using 3.0.5 and having the same problem.
I can add a new item to an advanced editor layout but it adds it to the bottom of the page and it won’t allow me to move the item to where I want it to go.
September 17, 2014 at 4:04 am in reply to: Layerslider in Enfold V2.9.2 Stretching Full Screen now!!! #320272Hey Devin,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I went back and looked again and for some reason during the update, perhaps it was a Layerslider update, the Full-Width button was set to ON.
Turned it off and all is well again.
Cheers,
Mitch
Hi Josue,
I did try a Text Block … but that didn’t work either.
If I go back to the normal editor it doesn’t help.
And, the normal editor might work for you or me, but not for a client – lolIt must have something to do with using a shortcode to wrap around more shortcodes around more shortcodes that is messing it up :-(
Thanks for your help though!!
Mitch
PS – thanks for keeping your theme up-to-date!!! WP 4.0 is out and Enfold is good to go!! Keep up the updates/upgrades. It makes it easy to recommend you to clients!!!
*********CLOSED**********
I don’t understand how it can render the code fine in the first block without the closing tag and why it can’t render the code in the second block?
This seems to be a flaw.
And I can’t put it in one block.
It needs to wrap around the content.Actually I NEED the closing shortcode.
That is the problem.
The layout builder works fine except it WILL NOT render the closing shortcode. This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for the quick response.
It helps to know that the mo and po are for the theme and WPML is for content.
But this configuration is still confusing.
http://4i.thinkmedia.ca/WPML.jpgShould the first option be WPML or the .mo files?
And if so, do I need the textdomain?
What is the text domain? I have read everything I can find and it makes no sense.Weird.
http://mitchpopilchak.com/Enfold.jpgIs there a reason why the layout shortcodes don’t work properly in a blog post?
Thanks
Hi,
After more searching I found the answer.
http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/Sorry, please consider this closed.
Weird, this is the only custom css I have.
.breadcrumb {visibility: hidden;}
.related_posts {visibility: hidden;}
.blog-tags {visibility: hidden;}Oh well, thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Mitch
Awesome!
So, was this a change to the theme design? Some missed code?
Thanks,
Mitch
I’ve hacked it by making a background image that is 125 px high.
90 px are orange and 25 px are white.
It’s a hack that shouldn’t be necessary.
Perhaps on the next update, you guys can move the menu container out of the header container so the two don’t share settings?
If you have a css solution, I would love to know it.
But even with that, I still would need to put in a background image just to get the text on the right side.
And that image would still need to include the space (25px) below for the nav.
Still not an ideal solution.
Cheers,
Mitch
Sorry, found it!!
